Battery
1. Remove screw that secures the
end-cap of the handle with PH2
screwdriver and remove end-cap.
2. Position battery to the correct orientation by
following the Positive and Negative markings on
the handle and insert battery.
3. Replace end-cap and secure the
screw.
• Use (9v) battery only. Wrong battery usage may
lead to broken battery or electrolyte leaking, and
damage or break down torque wrench.
• Remove battery if wrench will not be used for a
long period of time.
• Replace a dead battery as soon as possible.

Power on: Press any key for 3 seconds Power o: Auto Shut o after 90 seconds or
Hold CLR for 5 seconds
Setting Torque Wrench : Selecting Units
Press UNI to select the desired torque measurement unit
Unit: Newton Meters - N.m
Unit: Foot Pounds - lbf.ft
Unit: Inch Pounds - lbf.in
Unit: Kilogram Force Meters - kgf.m

Setting Torque Wrench : Setting Torque
Press SET to change the desired torque value
When the desired torque value is reached,
press SET to save the value
Press the Up or Down arrows to change the target torque value

Press % to change the desired tolerance value
Press the Up or Down arrows to change the target tolerance value
When the desired tolerance value is reached, press % to save the value

Tolerance Example
If the torque wrench is set to 45 lbf.ft and the tolerance is set at 10%, then an alert tone will occur at 40.5 lbf.ft. There will be a
rapid pulsing tone to indicate the torque value is closing to the target value of 45 lbf.ft.

Operating Torque Wrench
• Be sure not to apply torque when the wrench has not been powered on. To power on wrench, press and hold any button for 3
seconds.
• Use correct size socket for the applied torque load.
• Apply force in steady and smooth manner.
• Press CLR to manual clear ending torque value or begin a new tightening and the wrench will clear automatically.
• When approaching target torque the wrench will begin producing a rapid pulsing tone and ashing the Green LED when the
tolerance threshold is reached.
• When the applied torque reaches the target torque the Green & Red LED are solid as well as the audible tone and the wrench
handle will vibrate. Stop applying force at this point.

Warnings
• Low Battery
-When battery capacity is 30% remaining, the battery icon on the display ashes. The wrench is still usable, however
battery should be replaced soon.
-When Battery capacity is 10% remaining, the display will only show the battery icon and the wrench will not function.
Replace battery.
• Over torquing can cause damage to the tool.
• Verify the calibration of the wrench if you know or suspect its capacity has been exceeded.
• Never use the wrench with the power o.
• Do not press any buttons while torque is being applied.
