developed for use in the home! The Cocomotion™ Hot Chocolate Maker lets
you make hot chocolate the way you like it. Use your favorite combination
of milk or water, hot chocolate powder, or chocolate syrup, and your
Cocomotion machine will whip up the best tasting mug of creamy, frothy
hot chocolate you’ve ever experienced!
To ensure the long life and trouble-free operation of your appliance, please

SPECIAL CORD
SET INSTRUCTIONS
1. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards
resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer
cord.
2. An extension cord may be purchased and used if care is
exercised in its use.
3. If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the
extension cord must be at least 10 amps and 120 volts. The
resulting extended cord must be arranged so that it will not
drape over the counter top or table top where it can be pulled
on by children or tripped over accidentally.
* This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in
the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.

OPERATION AND USE
Before First Use
Before using your Cocomotion™Hot Chocolate Maker, wash reservoir and
lid using a mild, non-abrasive detergent and water with a soft cloth.
Important! Do not immerse your appliance in water. This may
permanently damage the product and void the warranty.
Making Hot Chocolate
Cocomotion™ is designed to make delicious hot chocolate with your
favorite combination of ingredients. You may use milk or water, syrup or
cocoa powder mix.
Note: Do not plug your machine in until all ingredients have been
added and the lid is in place in the closed position.
Follow These Easy Steps:
The ingredients used below produce four 8-ounce servings. Refer to the
Ingredient Chart to determine usage for other serving sizes.
1. Remove the reservoir lid.
2. Put the magnetic mixing disk in place.
3. Pour 32 ounces of milk/water into the reservoir.
4. Add 4 scoops (8 Tbsp.) of chocolate syrup or cocoa powder mix into
the reservoir. (Use 7 scoops or 14 Tbsp. of cocoa powder mix if you are
using water instead of milk.)
5. Place the lid onto the reservoir. Turn lid to cover the spout.
6. Plug in the Hot Chocolate Maker.
7. Push the “ON” button. Your machine will begin to mix and heat the
hot chocolate. When the hot chocolate reaches the perfect
temperature, the unit will automatically shut off (a full batch will take
approximately 10 minutes). You may push the “OFF” button at
anytime to turn the unit off.
8. Unplug the machine after it shuts off.
9. Push down & rotate reservoir lid so that the spout is open before pour-
ing.This will lock the lid for ease of pouring. To remove the lid, simply
rotate 1/4 turn so that the spout opening is covered & lift up.

Automatic Shut-Off
Cocomotion™ is designed to automatically shut off when the hot chocolate
is ready to be served. A full batch (32 oz.) takes approximately 10 minutes.
You may turn the unit off at any time by simply pushing the “OFF” button.
To restart the unit, push the “ON” button, and the machine will continue
making hot chocolate.
Cleaning
Cocomotion™should be cleaned after every use.
1. Pour out any remaining hot chocolate from the reservoir.
2. Remove the magnetic mixing disk.
3. Wash the interior by pouring a combination of a mild detergent and
water into the reservoir and wipe clean with a soft damp cloth. Do not
use any abrasive detergents or scouring pads, as this will scratch the
plastic which can lead to breakage. Rinse.
4. Wash the lid and mixing disk with a mild detergent and water.
5. Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.

Limited Warranty
Mr. Coffee®warrants to the purchaser that the HC4 Hot Chocolate Maker
(except for cord set) is free from manufacturer’s defects in material and
workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase
when used in compliance with directions as outlined in the manufacturer’s
instructions, which will constitute reasonable and necessary maintenance
by the purchaser.
In case of manufacturer defects in material or workmanship, Mr. Coffee
agrees to repair (remedy) a defective hot chocolate maker without charge.
The purchaser’s exclusive remedy against Mr. Coffee shall be for the repair
or replacement of a defective Mr. Coffee product.
All repairs must be made at an authorized Mr. Coffee service center.
To locate the Mr. Coffee service center nearest to you, call 1-800-Mr-Coffee
(1-800-672-6333). Mr. Coffee shall not be responsible for any repairs per-
formed at any facility which is not an authorized Mr. Coffee service center.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights
which vary from state to state. Any implied warranty is limited in duration to
the one year provided in this, the only, expressed warranty. Some states do
not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential dam-
ages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
In no event shall Mr. Coffee be responsible for incidental or conse-
quential damages, nor damage due to misuse or the use of any unautho-
rized attachment; nor damage caused by use of an electrical circuit not
specified on the Mr. Coffee product. Some states do not allow the exclu-
sion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, therefore the
above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

1. Un cordon d'alimentation électrique court est fourni pour réduire
les risques liés aux enchevêtrements et aux trébuchements sur
un câble long.
2. Une rallonge électrique peut être achetée et utilisée à condition
d'être attentif lors de son utilisation.
3. En cas d'utilisation d'une rallonge électrique, la capacité nominale
indiquée de ce câble doit être d'au moins 10 ampères et 120
volts. Le cordon et la rallonge doivent être placés de manière à
ne pas pendre d'une table ou d'un comptoir, d'où des enfants
pourraient tirer dessus, et à ne pas trébucher par dessus.
* Cet appareil est équipé d'une fiche polarisée (une lame est plus
large que l'autre). Pour réduire les risques de choc électrique,
cette fiche ne rentre dans une prise que d'une seule façon. Si la
fiche ne rentre pas entièrement dans la prise, la tourner. Si elle
ne rentre toujours pas entièrement, contacter un électricien
qualifié. Ne pas modifier la fiche de quelque façon que ce soit.

FONCTIONNEMENT ET EMPLOI
Avant la première utilisation
Avant d'utiliser la Machine à Chocolat Chaud Cocomotion™, lavez le réservoir et
le couvercle avec de l'eau, un détergent doux et non-abrasif et un chiffon doux.
Important ! Ne pas immerger l'appareil dans de l'eau. Ceci risquerait
d'endommager le produit de manière irréversible et d'annuler la garantie.
Préparation du chocolat chaud
La Machine à Chocolat Chaud Cocomotion™ est destinée à préparer de
délicieux chocolats chauds à partir de vos ingrédients préférés. Vous pouvez
utiliser tout mélange de lait, d'eau, de sirop, de poudre et de cacao.
Remarque : Ne pas brancher l'appareil avant d'avoir ajouté tous les
ingrédients et mis le couvercle en position fermée.
Suivez les étapes suivantes :
Les ingrédients mentionnés ci-dessous donnent quatre portions de 24 cl (8
onces liquides ou oz.). Voir le Tableau des ingrédients pour d'autres mesures.
1. Retirez le couvercle du réservoir.
2. Mettez le disque mélangeur en place.
3. Versez 96 cl (32 oz.) de lait ou d'eau dans le réservoir.
4. Ajoutez 4 mesures (8 cuillères à soupe) de sirop de chocolat ou de cacao au
contenu du réservoir (utilisez 7 mesures ou 14 cuillères à soupe de cacao si
vous utilisez de l'eau à la place du lait).
5. Mettez le couvercle sur le réservoir. Tournez le couvercle de manière à ce
que le bec verseur soit couvert.
6. Branchez la Machine à Chocolat Chaud dans une prise électrique.
7. Appuyez sur le bouton de mise en marche ("ON"). La machine commence à
mélanger et à chauffer le chocolat chaud. Le dispositif s'éteint automatiquement
lorsque le chocolat chaud atteint la température idéale (comptez environ 10
minutes pour un réservoir entier). Vous pouvez éteindre l'appareil à tout
moment en appuyant sur le bouton arrêt ("OFF").
8. Débranchez la machine après son arrêt.
9. Appuyez sur le couvercle du réservoir et tournez-le pour ouvrir le bec verseur
avant de servir le chocolat chaud. Ceci bloquera le couvercle en place pour
simplifier le versement. Pour enlever le couvercle, tournez-le simplement d'un
quart de tour, jusqu'à ce que le bec verseur soit couvert, et soulevez-le.

Une mesure équivaut à 2 cuillères à soupe.
Arrêt Automatique
La Machine à Chocolat Chaud Cocomotion™ est conçue pour s'arrêter
automatiquement dès que le chocolat chaud est prêt à être servi. Pour un
réservoir entier, il faut compter environ 10 minutes.
Vous pouvez éteindre l'appareil à tout moment simplement en appuyant
sur le bouton arrêt ("OFF"). Pour rallumer l'appareil, appuyez sur le bouton
de mise en marche ("ON") ; ainsi, la machine continuera à préparer du
chocolat chaud.
Nettoyage
La Machine à Chocolat Chaud Cocomotion™ doit être nettoyé(e) après
chaque utilisation.
1. Videz du réservoir tout reste de chocolat chaud.
2. Ôtez le disque mélangeur magnétique.
3. Nettoyez l'intérieur du récipient en y versant un mélange de
détergent doux et d'eau et essuyez-le à l'aide d'un chiffon
humide et doux. N'utilisez pas de détergents abrasifs ou de
tampons à récurer, cela pourrait rayer le plastique qui risquerait
de se fissurer. Rincez.
4. Nettoyez le couvercle et le disque mélangeur avec un déter-
gent doux et de l'eau.
5. Essuyez l'extérieur de la machine à l'aide d'un chiffon humide.
