Introduction 
The 694D Pro2 (MS-6321 v2.X) ATX mainboard is a high- erformance
com uter mainboard based on VIA® Apollo Pro133A chi set. The 694D
Pro2 is designed for Intel® Pentium® III (FC-PGA) rocessor for cost-
effective business/ ersonal deskto and entry-level server markets.
The Apollo Pro133A consists of the VT82C694XDP North Bridge
and VT82C686B South Bridge. VT82C694XDP is a system controller su -
orting AGP 4X, 133MHz Front Side Bus and eight banks of PC100/PC133
SDRAMs. With 133MHz Front Side Bus, the north bridge o timizes the
erformance of Intel® Pentium III. The chi sets asynchronous bus design
is also ideal for CPU to run at FSB s eeds of 66 and 100MHz.
The VIA® VT82C686B Su er I/O PCI integrated Peri heral Controller
(PSIPC) includes PCI-to-ISA bridge controller, keyboard controller and USB
controller. In addition, it su orts dual bus-master IDE with Ultra DMA 33/
66/100, four USB orts, system hardware monitoring and enhanced ower
management ca abilities.

PC Alert III
The PC AlertTM III is an utility you can find in the CD-ROM disk. The
utility is just like your PC doctor that can detect the following PC hardware
status during real time o eration:
* monitor CPU & system tem eratures
* monitor fan s eed(s)
* monitor system voltage
* monitor chassis intrusion
If one of the items above is abnormal, the rogram main screen will be immedi-
ately shown on the screen, with the abnormal item highlighted in red. This will
continue to be shown,until user disables the warning.
Note: Items shown on PC Alert III vary depending on your systems status.



System Power ON
- The D-LED will hang here i the processor is damaged or
not installed properly.


Early Chipset Initialization

- Testing onboard memory size. The D-LED will hang i
the memory module is damaged or not installed properly.


Decompressing BIOS image to RAM or ast booting.

Testing VGA BIOS
- This will start writing VGA sign-on message to the screen.
Red Green
The D-LED uses gra hic signal dis lay to hel
users understand their system. Four LEDs embedded in
the mainboard rovide u to 16 combinations of signals to
debug the system. The 4 LEDs can debug all roblems that
fail the system, such as VGA, RAM or other failures. This
s ecial feature is very useful for the overclocking users.
These users can use the feature to detect if there are any
roblems or failures.
If your motherboard su orts and installs D-Bracket which also
integrates four Diagnostic LEDs, definitions of the LED signals are the same
as D-LED as shown below.
