overheating.Ifyoudonotfindtheheatsinkandcoolingfan,contactyour
dealertopurchaseandinstallthembeforeturningonthecomputer.

andaboverequiresLARGERheatsinkandfan.Youalsoneedtoaddthermal
greasebetweentheCPUandheatsinktoimproveheatdissipation.Then,make
surethattheCPUandheatsinkaresecurelyfastenedandingoodcontactwith
eachother.Theseareneededtopreventdamagingtheprocessorandensur-
ingreliableoperation.Ifyouwanttogetmoreinformationontheproper

SynchronousDRAM(SDRAM)isa typeofdynamicRAMmemorychip
thathasbeenwidelyusedstartinginthelatterpartofthe1990s.SDRAMsare
basedonstandarddynamicRAMchips,buthavesophisticatedfeaturesthat
makethemconsiderablyfaster.First,SDRAMchipsarefastenoughtobe
synchronizedwiththeCPU'sclock,whicheliminateswaitstates.Second,the
SDRAMchipisdividedintotwocellblocks,anddataisinterleavedbetween
thetwosothatwhilea bitinoneblockisbeingaccessed,thebitintheotheris
beingpreparedforaccess.ThisallowsSDRAMtoburstthesecondand
subsequent,contiguouscharactersata rateof10ns,comparedto60nsforthe
firstcharacter.

nentsareinstalledproperlytoensurethatnodamagewillbecaused.

ThisconnectorallowsyoutoconnecttoanATXpowersupply.To
connecttotheATXpowersupply,makesuretheplugofthepowersupplyis
insertedintheproperorientationandthepinsarealigned.Thenpushdown
