1.TheCPUsockethasa plasticcaponittoprotect
thecontactfromdamage.Beforeyouinstallthe
CPU,alwayscoverittoprotectthesocketpins.
2.Removethecapfromtheleverhingeside.
3.Thepinsofsocketreveal.
4.Opentheloadlever.
5.Lifttheloadleverupandopentheloadplate.
6.AfterconfirmingtheCPUdirectionforcorrectmat-
ing,putdowntheCPUinthesockethousingframe.
BesuretograspontheedgeoftheCPUbase.
Notethatthealignmentkeysarematched.
7.VisuallyinspectiftheCPUisseatedwellintothe
socket.Ifnot,takeouttheCPUwithpurevertical
motionandreinstall.
8.Covertheloadplateontothepackage.
9.Pressdowntheloadleverlightlyontotheload
plate,andthensecuretheleverwiththehookun-
dertheretentiontab.
10.Aligntheholesonthemainboardwiththeheatsink.
Pushdownthecooleruntilitsfourclipsgetwedged
intotheholesofthemainboard.
11.Pressthefourhooksdowntofastenthecooler.
Thenrotatethelockingswitch(refertothecorrect
directionmarkedonit)tolockthehooks.
12.Turnoverthemainboardtoconfirmthattheclip-
endsarecorrectlyinserted.
13.Finally,attachtheCPUFancabletotheCPUfan
connectoronthemainboard.
IMPORTANT
*Read the CPU status in BIOS.
Whenever the CPU is not installed, always protect your CPU socket pins with
the plastic cap covered.

1.Thememorymodulehasonlyonenotchonthecenterandwillonlyfit inthe
right orientation.
2.InsertthememorymoduleverticallyintotheDIMMslot.Thenpushitinuntil
thegoldenfingeronthememorymoduleisdeeplyinsertedintheDIMMslot.
TheplasticclipateachsideoftheDIMMslotwillautomaticallyclosewhenthe
memorymoduleisproperlyseated.YoucanbarelyseethegoldenlingerIfthe
memorymoduleIspropertyInsertedIntheDIMMslot
3.ManuallycheckifthememorymodulehasbeenlockedinplacebytheDIMM
slotclipsatthesides.
*In Dual-Channel mode, make sure that you install memory modules of the same
type and density in different channel DIMM slots.
'To enable successful system boot-up, always insert the memory modules into
the DIMM1 first.

ThisconnectorallowsyoutoconnectanATX24-pinpowersupply.Toconnectthe
ATX24-pinpowersupply,makesuretheplugofthepowersupplyisinsertedin
theproperorientationandthepinsarealigned.Thenpushdownthepowersupply
firmlyintotheconnector.
IMPORTANT
'Make sure that all the connectors are connected to proper ATX power supplies
to ensure stable operation of the mainboard.
*Power supply of 350 watts (and above) is highly recommended for system sta-
bility.
