Mount the paper support plate cto the holder.
Die Papierstütze cauf die Halterung stecken.
Fixez le support de papier csur l’appui.

Insierte el soporte de papel cen el soporte.
Remove the front cover. To do this, raise the cover c, lift it on the left first dand then remove it
towards the left from the support eas shown in the figure. Insert the front cover supplied with the
ASF-F in reverse sequence of steps.
Die vordere Abdeckung abnehmen. Dazu die Abdeckung nach oben schwenken c, links
hochheben dund dann links aus der Lagerung entnehmen ewie im Bild gezeigt. Die mit dem
ASF-F mitgelieferte vordere Abdeckung in umgekehrter Reihenfolge einsetzen.
Déposez le capot avant. Pour ce faire, basculez le capot vers le haut c, levez-le ensuite d’abord à
gauche det le sortir de son logement vers la gauche ecomme illustré sur la figure. Introduisez
le capot avant livré avec ASF-F dans l’ordre inverse.
Rimuovere il coperchio anteriore. A questo scopo, ribaltare il coperchio verso l’alto c, sollevando
dapprima l’estremità sinistra dper sganciarla dal supporto e, come mostrato nella figura. Per
installare il coperchio anteriore fornito con l’ASF-F, procedere in senso inverso.
Quite la tapa delantera. Para esto gire la tapa hacia arriba c, levántela a la izquierda dy pues
quítela de su alojamiento hacia la izquierda e, como se muestra en la figura. Insierte la tapa
delantera suministrada con el alimentador ASF-F en secuencia inversa.
Insert the single sheet feeder with the pins on the left and right in parallel to the stop into the guides
provided on the printer.
Die Einzelblattzuführung mit den Zapfen auf der linken und rechten Seite parallel bis zum
Anschlag in die dafür vorgesehenen Führungen am Drucker einführen.
Introduisez l’alimentation feuille à feuille dans les guides de l’imprimante prévus à cet effet avec
les ergots à gauche et à droite en parallèle jusqu’à la butée.
Inserire a fondo la guida fogli singoli con i perni sul lato sinistro e destro parallelamente nelle
apposite guide della stampante.
Insierte el alimentador automático de hojas sueltas en paralelo en la impresora hasta el tope, con
las espigas a la izquierda y derecha en las guías provistas.
Press the single sheet feeder down on the left and right with gentle pressure until the front pins click
into place on the left and right.
Die Einzelblattzuführung links und rechts leicht nach unten drücken, bis die vorderen Zapfen auf
der linken und rechten Seite einrasten.
Enfoncez légèrement l’alimentation feuille à feuille à gauche et à droite jusqu’à ce que les ergots
gauche et droit s’encliquettent.
Spingere leggermente verso il basso, a sinistra e a destra, la guida fogli singoli finché i perni
anteriori non si agganciano sul lato sinistro e destro.
Presione hacia abajo el alimentador automático de hojas sueltas a la izquierda y a la derecha,
presionando suavemente hasta que las espigas frontales se engatillen a la izquierda y a la derecha.

Align the left-hand paper guide cwith the mark.
Fan the paper and then align the edges before loading it into the paper tray. Push the fixing lever
don the left side of the ASF-F upwards and insert the paper stack.
Die linke Papierführung can der Markierung ausrichten.
Das Papier vor dem Einlegen in den Papierschacht gut auffächern und anschließend Ränder bündig
ausrichten. Den Arretierhebel dauf der linken Seite des ASF-F nach oben stellen und
Papierstapel einlegen.
Alignez le guide-papier à gauche csur le repère.
Avant le chargement dans le bac de papier, ventilez bien le papier et alignez les bords à fleur.
Poussez le levier de verrouillage dvers le haut à gauche de l’ASF-F et chargez la pile de papier.
Allineare la guida carta sinistra con il contras-segno c.
Prima di inserire la carta nel cassetto, smazzarla accuratamente e quindi allinearne i bordi.
Sollevare la leva di blocco ddall’alto sul lato sinistro dell’ASF-F e inserire la carta.
Ajuste la guía de papel izquierda ca la marca.
Afloje la pila de papel antes de colocarla en el alimentador y ponga a ras los bordes. Levante la
palanca de fijación da la izquierda del alimentador ASF-F y coloque la pila de papel.
Adjust the right-hand paper guide cto the width of the paper used. Align the paper support plate
at the centre of the paper stack. Close the fixing lever d. Install the printer’s paper support(s) e.
For more rigid paper, we recommend to remove the tear rail for fanfold paper in
order to increase the stacking capacity.
Rechte Papierführung centsprechend der Papierbreite einstellen. Papierstütze mittig zu
Papierstapel ausrichten. Arretierhebel dschließen. Papierstützen des Druckers eanbringen.
Wir empfehlen, bei steiferen Papieren die Abreißschiene für Endlospapier zu entfer-
nen, um die Ablagekapazität zu erhöhen.
Ajustez le guide-papier à droite cen fonction de a largeur de papier. Alignez le support de papier
au milieu de la pile de papier. Fermez le levier de verrouillage d. Posez le(s) support(s) papier de
l’imprimante e.
Nous vous recommandons d’enlever la barre de déchirage pour le papier continu en
cas de papiers plus rigides afin d’améliorer la capacité d’emballage.
Regolare la guida carta di destra cin funzione della larghezza della carta. Disporre i supporti carta
in posizione centrata rispetto alla risma di carta. Chiudere la leva di blocco d. Applicare il (i)
supporto (i) carta della stampante e.
Consigliamo in caso di carte più rigide di togliere la guida di strappo per moduli
continui al fine di aumentare la capacità di supporto.
Ajuste la guía de papel derecha ca la anchura del papel. Alinee el soporte de papel en el centro
de la pila de papel. Cierre la palanca de fijación d. Instale el/los soporte/s de papel de la
impresora e.
Para papeles más gruesos recomendamos quitar la barra de corte de papel continuo
para aumentar la capacidad de pila.
Switch the printer on again keeping the Setup key pressed. Press the key Online until the printer has completed initialisation. Press the Setup key again. The printer
changes to Setup mode.
To access the printer menu, press the Menu key (1). Press the Back key (1) several times until the display indicates PapOpt. Press the button under PapOpt and than
the ASF-F key (2). Use the < (2) or >(3) key to select Installed. Confirm the setting by pressing the Set key (1).
Subsequently select the ASF-F either in setup mode or via the paper source quick selection function or via an application program. (For the detailed procedure, refer to
the Reference Manual on the online CD-ROM.)
Schalten Sie den Drucker mit gedrückter Taste Setup ein. Halten Sie die Taste gedrückt, bis der Drucker initialisiert hat. Drücken Sie die Taste Setup erneut. Der
Drucker wechselt in den Setup-Modus.
Um in das Druckermenü zu gelangen, drücken Sie die Taste Menü (1). Drücken Sie die Taste Rück (1) so oft, bis die Anzeige PapOpt erscheint. Drücken Sie die
Taste unter PapOpt und dann die Taste ASF-F (2). Durch Drücken der Taste <(2) oder >(3) Vorhanden wählen. Bestätigen Sie die Eingabe durch Drücken der Taste
Setze (1).
Danach den ASF-F entweder im Setup-Modus, über die Papierweg-Schnellumschaltung oder über ein Anwendungsprogramm auswählen (Einzelheiten zum Vorgehen
finden Sie im Referenzhandbuch auf der Online-CD-ROM).
Mettez l'imprimante en marche en appuyant sur la touche Setup. Tenez la touche Online enfoncée jusqu’à ce que l’imprimante soit initialisée. Appuyez sur la touche
Setup à nouveau. L’imprimante passe au mode Setup.
Pour accéder au menu de l’imprimante, pressez la touche Menu (1). Appuyez répétitivement sur la touche Ret (1) jusqu’à ce que l’affichage indique Option. Appuyez
sur le bouton sous Option puis appuyez sur la touche ASF-F (2). Appuyer sur la touche <(2) ou >(3) pour sélectionner Installée. Validez l’entrée en appuyant sur la
touche Valid (1).
Sélectionnez ensuite l’ASF-F soit en mode Setup, par la commutation rapide du chemin de papier, soit par un programme d’application. (Vous trouverez tous les détails
sur la procédure dans le Manuel de Référence, sur le CD-ROM Online.)
Accendere la stampante tenendo premuto il tasto Setup. Tenere premuto il tasto Online fino all’inizializzazione della stampante. Premere il tasto Setup nuovamente.
La stampante passa alla modalità Setup.
Per accedere al menu della stampante premere il tasto Menu (1). Premere il tasto Giu (4) fine a quando sul display non compaia OpCarta. Premere il tasto sotto
OpCarta; quindi premere il tasto ASF-F (2). Premere il tasto <(2) o >(3) per selezionare Installato. Dopo aver inserito i dati d’impostazione, premere il tasto OK (1).
Successivamente selezionare l’ASF-F o nel modo set-up, tramite la commutazione rapida del percorso carta, oppure tramite un programma applicativo. (Dettagli relativi
alla procedura sono contenuti nel manuale di riferimento sul CD-ROM Online.)
Conecte la impresora teniendo pulsada la tecla Setup. Mantenga presionado el pulsador Online hasta que se haya inicializado la impresora. Pulse la tecla Setup de
nuevo. La impresora cambia al modo Setup.
Para entrar en el menú de la impresora, presione el pulsador Menue (1). Presione el pulsador Retro (1) tantas veces hasta que aparece PapOpt en el visualizador. Pulse
la tecla debajo de PapOpt. Pulse la tecla ASF-F (2). Presione el pulsador <(2) o >(3) para seleccionar Instalar. Confirme la entrada presionando el pulsador Set (1).
A continuación seleccione el ASF-F o en el modo setup o a través de la selección rápida del origen de papel o mediante un programa de aplicación. (Para el
