WARNING! Prior to each hunt, you must inform someone of your hunting location and the expected duration of your hunt. Failure to follow these
instructions may result in serious injury or death!
WARNING! Prior to each hunt, make sure that you have a signaling device (e.g., mobile phone, radio, whistle, signal are or Personal Locator Device
(PLD)) in your possession and in an operable condition. This device must be within easy access should you experience the need to contact emergency
assistance. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death!
WARNING! This product is designed for adult use only. No one under the age of 16 should attempt to use this or any other product(s) without direct
adult supervision. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death!
WARNING! NEVER hunt out of a freestanding platform at heights at which you are not completely comfortable. Depending on the hunting conditions,
choose the minimum hunting height that allows for safe, eective hunting. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death!
WARNING! Strict weight limitations have been set for each product to ensure your personal safety. Note the weight limitations of your stand and that
this weight limit includes the user and equipment. NEVER EXCEED THESEWEIGHT LIMITATIONS! Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious
injury or death!
WARNING! Do not attempt to use this or any other Muddy® product(s) when ice, snow and/or freezing rain has deposited or formed on any portion of
the stand you intend to climb. Do not attempt to use this or any other Muddy® product(s) when thunderstorms are threatening and/or present within ve
(5) miles. Do not attempt to use this or any other product(s) when any other adverse weather condition presents itself. These include, but are not limited
to, weather conditions which have the potential for producing winds, lightning, rain, snow, sleet, and/or any other atmospheric condition which may limit
the user’s ability to operate this Muddy® product(s) in a safe manner as described in this Instruction Manual. Should inclement weather conditions arise
during your use of this Muddy® product(s), return to the ground immediately. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death!
WARNING! Never attempt to climb up or down with a weapon and/or gear in your possession. ALWAYS unload your weapon and pull it up to hunting
height using a tether or pull up rope. ALWAYS lower your unloaded weapon down to the ground prior (when raising or lowering rearms, the chamber
must be open and the barrel pointing toward the ground) to attempting to climb up or down. Use this same method when raising or lowering all other
gear. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death!
WARNING! Thoroughly inspect this or any other Muddy® product(s) prior to each use for signs of wear, rot, corrosion, cracks, deterioration and/or any
other type of defect. DO NOT expose your freestanding platform to extended exposure to direct sunlight, excessive heat or freezing temperature. Do not
use your freestanding platform or any other product(s) if they show evidence of wear, rot, corrosion, cracks, deterioration and/or any other type of defect.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death!
WARNING! DO NOT modify, x/repair, alter, bend, cut, weld or heat this product(s) in any way. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious
injury or death.
WARNING! Replace any damaged or worn part(s) with original part(s). Never store a freestanding platform or any of its components outdoors when not
in use. To purchase parts, contact Muddy® toll free at (844) 745-7723. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death!
WARNING! Always wear the appropriate foot wear when using a freestanding platform. A good non-slip safety boot is important for your safety. Be
especially careful that boot laces do not get hooked on the freestanding platform or climbing aids (tuck shoelaces into boot before climbing). Failure to
follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death!
WARNING! DO NOT erect this product(s) around power generation (transformers, generators, substations, etc.) and/or power transmission equipment
(power lines). Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death!
WARNING! Do not attempt to make adjustments to this product while in the stand. All adjustments must be made with the entire stand on the ground.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death!
WARNING! Check the ground under your freestanding platform to make sure it is rm and level. Sloping ground or uneven surfaces can cause your
stand to tilt or shift as you climb. Do not use this stand when high winds are present or forecast. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious
injury or death!
WARNING! Never attempt to hunt from an unlevel platform. Additionally, never attempt to level your freestanding platform at heights above the
ground. If you nd that your platform is unlevel, canted, angled awkwardly upward or downward, or in any conguration other than level, immediately
climb down to ground level and readjust your freestanding platform as necessary to alleviate this awkward angle. Failure to follow these instructions may
result in serious injury or death!
WARNING! BEFORE each use, make sure all nuts and bolts are secure. CHECK all hardware and webbing prior to every use to make sure that no
damage has occurred to hardware and that webbing is not cut or frayed. Keep webbing from coming into contact with any sharp objects. DO NOT USE
THIS PRODUCT IF ANY DAMAGE IS SUSPECTED. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death!
WARNING! Prior to climbing, make sure all legs, ladder, or supporting sections are rmly connected and locked. Make sure none of these sections have
come loose or separated. If they are, DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT(S). With the help of two other adults, lower the stand back down to the ground and
repair the sections as appropriate. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death!
WARNING! ALWAYS maintain three-point contact when climbing up or down. Proper three-point contact means having either two feet with one hand
or one foot with two hands on the step portion of the climbing aids at all times when climbing up or down. Failure to follow these instructions may result
in serious injury or death!

MTA3004-EX 4 Foot Extension Kit for Liberty
WARNING! Read all assembly, eld assembly and safety instructions associated with the Liberty Tripod prior to using this product.
Failure to follow these instructions and warnings may result in serious injury or death!
IMPORTANT NOTES:
These instructions assume you have fully assembled your existing MTP3000 Liberty Tripod. Please keep all existing hardware;
instructions may require you to remove it temporarily but all parts will be required for complete assembly. To ensure proper fit,
finger tighten all nuts and bolts until instructed to fully tighten.
STEP 1. Remove the adjuster legs (Fig. 1), then attach the leg extensions to the bottom legs using (2) 5/16” x 2 1/4” hex bolts [D] (4) nylon
washers and (2) 5/16” nylock nuts to secure. Insert the adjuster legs into the leg extensions and secure at desired height using (2) snap pins.

STEP 2. Next, loosen and remove the existing hardware securing the x-supports to the bottom ladder section and bottom legs. (Fig. 2)
STEP 3. Remove the existing hardware and bottom ladder section, then attach the ladder section extension to the middle ladder section
using (2) 1/4” x 1 1/2” hex bolts [B], (2) nylon washers and (2) 1/4” nylock nuts to secure. Secure the bottom ladder section to the ladder section
extension using existing hardware. (Fig. 2)
STEP 4. Assemble the (3) cross supports by inserting (3) male supports into (3) female supports and secure using (3) 1/4” x 1 1/4” hex bolts
[A], (3) nylon washers and (3) 1/4” nylock nuts. (Fig. 3)
STEP 5. Next, assemble the (4) stabilizers by inserting (8) male supports into (4) support connectors using (8) 1/4” x 1 1/4” hex bolts [A], (8)
nylon washers and (8) 1/4” nylock nuts to secure. (Fig. 4)
STEP 6. Using (2) 5/16’’ x 3’’ hex bolts [E], (4) nylon washers and (2) 5/16’’ nylock nuts secure (1) cross support, (2) stabilizers and existing
x-supports to the rear brackets on the existing bottom legs. Then, attach the stabilizers to the leg extensions using existing hardware. (Fig. 5)
STEP 7. Secure the assembled stabilizers by aligning holes and using (1) 1/4” x 2 1/4” hex bolt [C], (2) nylon washers and (1) 1/4” nylock nut to
secure. (Fig. 5)
STEP 8. Attach (2) cross supports, (2) stabilizers and existing x-supports to the front brackets on the existing bottom legs using (2) 5/16’’ x
3’’ hex bolts [E], (4) nylon washers and (2) 5/16’’ nylock nuts secure. Then, attach the stabilizers to the existing bottom ladder section using
existing hardware. (Fig. 6)

STEP 9. Using (2) 5/16’’ x 2 1/4’’ hex bolts [D], (4) nylon washers and (2) 5/16’’
nylock nuts secure the cross supports and x supports to the ladder section
extension. (Fig. 6)
STEP 10. SECURELY TIGHTEN ALL NUTS AND BOLTS.
NOTE: Refer to the Instruction Manual provided with The Liberty (MTP3000)
to install your stand in the eld. Follow all warnings and instructions.
