Common warning signs and security
The following information and warnings are provided to ensure safety and prevent personal injury or equipment damage due to
improper installation. Please read before using and make sure you are aware and understand potential risks prior to installation.
Warning Inappropriate installation or use may cause injury, death or equipment/property damage.
When installed loudspeakers
• While speakers are designed for outdoor use, the should not be placed in a where they will be exposed to direct rain.
• Ensure the connected system is designed for this type of 8Ω or 70V speaker system and that connected wiring meets local
and national codes.
• Ensure that speakers are located in a secure and stable location. Shelves must be secure and able to support the weight.
Wall and pole mounts must be able to adequately support this product to prevent chance of property damage or injury.
• In 8Ω applications, make sure you are aware of impedance limitations of your sound equipment
• If using multiple pairs in an 8Ω installation, make sure you are aware of parallel and series wiring characteristics and the
overall eect on amplier load.
• When using 70V/100V installation, it is critical that you do not exceed the total wattage of your amplier.
• Avoid speakers installed in the humidity or dust, direct contact with the sun, from the near-electric, or smoke or steam, may
cause re or electric shock.
