Step 1 : Measure the desired length of the Hydraulic Hose Tube (5) and make a mark on the tube with the
help of a marker.
STEP 2 : Cut the Hose Tube (5) at the marking by making a straight cut using a Pipe Cutter.

10
STEP 3 : Insert the Marking Sleeve (7) and Bend Restrictor (6) into the Hose tube as shown in image.
STEP 4 : Dismantle the Reusable Hose fitting.

11
STEP 5 : Measure the inner length of the Conduit Sleeve (1) and mark the same on the hose tube (5).
STEP 6 : Apply marine grease on the suace of the Hose Tube (5) before installation to avoid the damage
and enable easy assembly.

12
STEP 7 : Gently place the Conduit Sleeve (1) over the Hose Tube and give a slight press.
STEP 8 : Insert the Mandrel inside the Hose Tube (5) passing through Conduit Sleeve (1) to avoid any pressure
on the Hose while holding on bench vice. Now hold the Hose and Sleeve assembly on bench vice and
rotate the Conduit Sleeve until Hose tube properly touches the inner face of sleeve collar.

STEP 11 : The minimum bending radius of the Hose Tube (5) is 100 mm. Any excessive pipe bending could
break them by compromising the good operation of the system. If necessary, replace te damaged pipe.
Keep the Pipes far from heat sources and from Chemical Substances. Protect the Pipes that must pass
through bulkheads by using suitable thru hulls. The bends must be peectly smooth. Any bends or dents
might prevent the Hydraulic oil passage.
Keep it clean. Make sure that working areas are free from dust and dirt. The protective plugs of threaded
holes must be removed only before the connection of fittings and pipes. Make sure that pipes are
peectly clean and free from swa, especially for copper and steel pipes. If the installer uses pipes apart
from Kit OB, the full responsibility for the same lies with him.
At the end of the installation make sure that the pipes do not inteere with the engine and with fixed or
