• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Use this appliance for the intended use as described in this booklet. DO NOT use attachments not
recommended by HoMedics.
• NEVER operate the appliance if it has been damaged. Return it to the HoMedics Service Centre for
examination and repair.

• NEVER drop or insert any object into any opening.
• DO NOT attempt to repair the appliance. There are no user serviceable parts. For service, send to a
HoMedics Service Centre. All servicing of this appliance must be performed by authorised HoMedics
service personnel only.
• This product requires a 230-240 V AC power.
• Do not use while bathing.
• NEVER operate the appliance with wet hands.
• Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into the bath or sink.
• Do not place or drop into water or other liquid.
• Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.
• This appliance MUST NOT be intended for use in the bathroom.

on a person with poor blood circulation.
• This appliance should NEVER be used by any individual suffering from any physical ailment that would limit
the user’s capacity to operate the controls.
• NEVER use directly on swollen or inflamed areas or skin eruptions.
•An appliance should not be left unattended when plugged in.
• Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual.
• Do not use any attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
• Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug. See Warranty instructions at the back of this
booklet if this product is not working properly, or it has been dropped, damaged, or dropped into water.
• If the power cord on the appliance is damaged, or otherwise does not function, do not use the product.
Return to authorised service station for replacement of power cord or repair, to avoid hazard.

• Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
• Never place the appliance on a soft surface such as a bed, or a couch. Always place on a level surface.
• Never use while sleepy or drowsy.
• Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is
being administered.
• Unplug cord before filling. Fill pan with water only. Do not overfill.
• Do not use if there are open wounds or a rash on the face.
• Consult a doctor before using this appliance in the following cases: fever, inflammation, pain, if you are
currently under a doctor's care, or are taking medicine.
• Do not use after oral or facial surgery of any kind, including dental cleaning with the use of local anaesthetics.
• Do not use on sensitive skin on the face.
• Do not wrap the cable around the body of the appliance.
• Always unplug the appliance from the mains when not in use.
• If the mains cord (or swivel connector becomes damaged), stop using the appliance immediately. As it is
not repairable, the item must be discarded.
This product contains small parts that may present a choking hazard for young children.
Note: Ensure that the electrical cord loops below the
electrical outlet to form a ‘Drip loop’. This will prevent
water from running down the cord into the
electrical outlet.

PRODUCT FEATURES:
The Facial Sauna provides a deep cleansing facial steam bath that opens up the pores of the skin to help
cleanse impurities and aid make-up removal.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Fill the provided measuring cup to the indicator level, (Figure 1)
2. Pour the water into the water chamber.
NOTE: There are two level indicators. For short usage time, choose the lower level indicator. For longer
usage, choose the higher level indicator. DO NOT fill cup over the highest level fill line.
3. Place attachment on the steam chamber as shown, (Figure 2). ine up notches and turn counterclockwise to lock.
4. Plug into a standard 230-240 V AC plug socket.
5. Press ‘On’ Button - Red ED will illuminate.
6. Slide steam adjuster to the right to release more steam, or to the left to reduce steam output.
7. After approximately 15 minutes steam will begin to rise. Slowly and gently place face on rim of the mask. (Figure 3)
CAUTION: Steam will be hot! If you feel discomfort, move your face away from the facial mask to a
comfortable distance.
8. Every few minutes slightly vary the position of your face to provide a more even sauna, remaining in a
static position near the steamer for too long can cause some discomfort and potential scalding.
9. After use, unplug the unit and drain away any excess water. After unit has cooled down, clean with a damp cloth.
CAUTION: Unplug the unit after use.

USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
• Disconnect wall plug before emptying water from unit
• Allow appliance to cool before removing facial mask from base.
• Pour out excess water from evaporation bowl.
• Wipe facial mask and evaporation bowl after use.
CLEANING
• Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet and let cool before cleaning.
• Empty excess water and wipe dry the interior of the facial mask and rim.
• Remove grate from base by gently prying it out with a screwdriver or dull butter knife. Clean internal
cavity with damp cloth. Snap back into place making sure that the notch of the grate clips on to the
adjustable steam sliding button.
• Wipe the base with a clean, damp cloth, then polish it lightly with a dry one. Never immerse the unit.
• Do not immerse the base in any liquid to clean.
• Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene, glass/furniture polish or paint thinner to clean.
• Do not attempt to repair the unit. There are no user serviceable parts. For service, send the unit to the
HoMedics address listed in the warranty section.
WARNING! All mineral residue must be removed completely after each use. Use of the facial sauna without
proper cleaning could result in uncontrollable steam production. Lime residues must be removed by
commercial descaling agents, suitable for stainless steel, according to the manufacturer’s instructions. DO
NOT clean facial mask in dishwasher. It is not dishwasher proof. Hand wash only with a mild detergent.
STORAGE
Place Facial Sauna in a clean, dry location, out of the reach of children. Do not wrap the power cord around
the unit as this may cause damage. Do not hang the unit by its power cord. oosely coil the cord and secure
with a twist tie.
PLUG
If the plug on this appliance is damaged, it can be replaced with a BS 1363 plug,
fitted with a 3A BS 1362 fuse. Only use a 3amp fuse with this appliance. Care
must be taken when changing the plug. If in doubt, contact a qualified
electrician.

This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household wastes
throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from
uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material
resources. To return your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the
retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmental safe recycling.

This guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of any
unauthorised accessory; alteration to the product; or any other conditions whatsoever that are beyond the
control of HoMedics. This guarantee is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the UK.
A product that requires modification or adaptation to enable it to operate in any country other than the
country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorised, or repair of products
damaged by these modifications are not covered under this guarantee. HoMedics shall not be responsible for
any type of incidental, consequential or special damages.
