GETTING STARTED
FOR NABI TABLETS*
1. Log in to Mommy/Daddy Mode and go to
App Zone.
2. Make sure you’re in the “Apps” tab and search
for “nabi Compete” by using the search box.
3. Download “nabi Compete” app.
4. Once downloaded, make sure your nabi Tablet’s
Bluetooth is turned on.
5. Open the “nabi Compete” app and follow the
directions to pair nabi Compete with the “nabi
Compete” app.
FOR OTHER ANDROID AND IOS DEVICES*
1. Search for “nabi Compete” in iOS App Store or
Google Play Store and download it.
2. Once downloaded and installed, make sure

your device’s Bluetooth is turned on.
3. Open the “nabi Compete” app and follow the
directions to pair nabi Compete with the “nabi
Compete” app.

the wristband.

and bottom covers
using a mini at-head
screwdriver. Remove
the exhausted batteries
and dispose of immedi-
ately and properly.

HELPFUL TIPS
TIPS TO WEAR AND CARE FOR YOUR NABI COMPETE
• Regularly clean your nabi Compete wristband,
especially after sweating.
• Clean your nabi Compete wristband with mild
soap-free cleansers or water.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners to clean your nabi

INFORMATION
Failure to read and follow these instructions may
result in personal injury or product damage.
• nabi Compete and its accessories contain small

parts, which can be choking hazards.
• If the battery is swallowed, immediately seek
medical help, as serious injury may occur.
• Do not attempt to open the battery enclosure or
otherwise to disassemble your nabi Compete
product. Its components are not serviceable.
• Do not expose your nabi Compete to extremely
high or low temperatures.
• Do not leave your nabi Compete near open ames,
or dispose of it in a re. The battery could explode.
• Do not leave your nabi Compete in direct
sunlight for an extended period of time.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners to clean your
nabi Compete.
• Do not use your nabi Compete in the sauna or
steam room.
• Do not place your nabi Compete in a
dishwasher, washing machine, or dryer.
• Remove the band before swimming, soaking in

the bathtub, and deep sea diving.
• nabi Compete battery life can be shortened
with heavy use.

RF EXPOSURE INFORMATION (SAR)
This device meets the government’s requirements
for exposure to radio waves. This device is designed
and manufactured not to exceed the emission
limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy
set by the Federal Communications Commission

of the U.S. Government. The exposure standard
for wireless device employs a unit of measurement
known as the Specic Absorption Rate, or SAR. The
SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6W/kg. *Tests for SAR
are conducted using standard operating positions
accepted by the FCC with the device transmitting
at its highest certied power level in all tested
frequency bands. Although the SAR is determined
at the highest certied power level, the actual SAR
level of the device while operating can be well below
the maximum value. This is because the device is
designed to operate at multiple power levels so as
to use only the poser required to reach the network.
In general, the closer you are to a WIFI network,
the lower the power output.
Do not expose the battery to temperatures higher
than 158 °F.

ONE (1) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
This warranty is extended only to the original end user
purchaser, or the person who is receiving the product as
a gift with proof of purchase, and shall not be extended
to any other person or transferee.
Warranty. Mattel warranties for one year from the date
of sale to the consumer that the nabi is of merchantable
quality and that it conforms to applicable specications.
In no event does the limited warranty cover failures
resulting from improper or unreasonable use or
maintenance, failure to follow operating instructions,
accidents, excess moisture, insects, lightning, power
surges, unauthorized alteration or modication of the
product; damages caused by inadequate packing or
shipping procedures; loss of, damage to, or corruption
of stored data; damages caused by use with non-
nabi products; products that require modication or
adaptation to enable them to operate in any country
other than the country for which they were designed,

manufactured, approved, and/or authorized, or repair
of products damaged by these modications; products
purchased from unauthorized dealers; and any
degradation that occurs naturally through normal use.
