Step 3. Scan code "normal mode" to set it to instantly upload barcode
Ⅳ.Customer Q&A
Q: If i scan a product barcode, will it include the name of the product in the
file automatically?
A: The computer sees the scanner like a keyboard. The scanner does not
interpret what the barcode is, it just "types" out a string of alphabet numeric
characters that the barcode represents.
it's up to the database software you are using to interpret what that string of
characters means.
Once you acquire the barcodes, you have to correlate them to something
more meaningful by either purchasing a software service that will interpret
the barcode and relate it to a product, or you can use your own internal
inventory system to assign the barcodes to specific products.
After that, when you enter the barcode into the software by the scanner, your
software will look up the barcode and then output the related information of
your product.

5
Q: Why can the scanner not read the barcodes?
A: There are some reason for that.
Maybe the scanner failed to match the receiver. Maybe the scanner was set
to storage mode (In storage mode, the data will store in the built in storage
of scanner).
Please follow the reset steps on page 3 to set up the scanner
The other possible reason is that the setting is off by default, for some
barcode types are not commonly used. You need to activate a specific
barcode type to get it to work .
Or maybe this is a bar code with extra check digit.
Please send us a clear picture of the barcode , our customer service will help
you to solve the problem.
Q: Why does scanner not read the barcode exactly.
E.g. When I use the scanner to read a UPCE barcode “08960007” , the data
the computer received is 8960007.
A: The scanner was set to not read the leading digit of UPCE barcode by
default.
If you want to set the scanner to read the leading digits of UPCE ,
Please scan following code (on page 23-24)
"enter into settings">" transmit leading digit of UPCE">"exit settings"
If that is not your case, please send us a clear picture of the barcode and the
result you get, our customer service will help you to solve the problem.

charged.
2.Power on
Press the button, the scanner will rang a long beep and the blue indicator on
scanner will flash. Power is on successfully.
3.Pair operation
The scanner has three Paring Mode:
1).One scanner to one recevier: One barode scanner send
barcode to one receiver
Pairing operation:
Scan the "One to One" barcode, the scanner will go into pairing mode and
beeps continuously,
Then insert the receiver to USB port, if the scanner has one "beep" in 3s that
means the pairing is succeed.

7
If the pairing fails, you need to pull off the usb receiver and re-set as the
previous steps.(After the blue indicator of the receiver is flicking, the receiver
can not pair with the scanner, please pull off the receiver and reset it)
2). One scanner to more receiver: One barcode scanner
send barcode to a number of receiver
Pairing operation:
Scan the "One to More" barcode, the scanner will go into pairing mode and
beeps continuously. Then insert the receiver into USB port, if the scanner has
one "beep"in 3s that means the pairing is succeed, meanwhile the light of
receiver will flicker.
Then plug the second receiver into USB port to connect it to the scanner.
....
One scanner can be connected to maximum 8 rereiver.
if you have added to the required number of receiver, press the trigger to end
the adding.
Note:The more receiver you add, the longer time it takes to upload the
barcode
3).More scanner to one receiver: A number of barcode
scanner send barcode to one receiver

8
Pairing operation:
Scan the "More to One" barcode, the scanner will go into pairing mode and
beeps continuously,
Then insert the receiver to USB port, if the scanner has one "beep" in 3s that
means the pairing is succeed, meanwhile the light of receiver will flicker.
The other scanner can connect to the receiver in the same way.
Note:The more scanner you add, the longer it takes to wait for the bar code
to be uploaded.
4. Upload mode setting
1).Normal mode:
Scanning barcode and real-time upload the barcode. If the barcode is upload
successfully, the blue LED light will flicker once, at the same time buzzer will
rang "beep"
Scan the code "Normal Mode" to set the scanner to normal mode
Under the normal mode, the transmission distance is over 400m where there
are no obstacles. If it exceeds the transmission distance or the data upload
failed, the scanner will let out 3 short prompt.
2).Non-losing Mode:
The barcode will be uploaded to the receiver in real-time when the scanner is
in wireless tranmission range. When the scanner is out of the wireless
tranmission range, the data will be stored in scanner’s own memory .
After scanner is reaching the wireless transmission range, the lost data which
are stored will be uploaded to the computer automatically.
Scan the code " Non-losing Mode" to set the scanner to Non-losing Mode
Scan the code "Clear Non-losing Mode Stored Data" to clear all the

9
Non-losing Mode stored data
Note: "Non-losing mode" is not suitable for using in the the "Fliker Scanning
mode" and " Continuous mode"
3).Check mode
The data will be stored in scanner’s own memory. And then you could upload
the data to your conputer when you need them.
Scan the code " Check mode" to set the scanner to check mode,
Scan the code " Total checking number " to show the quantity of stored
barcode
Scan the code " Upload checking data" to upload all the stored data
Scan the code "Clear checking data" to clear all the checking mode stored
data
