FAQ
Q1: If i scan a product barcode, will it include the name of the product in the file
automatically?
Answer:
The computer works like a keyboard. The scanner does not interpret what the barcode
is, it just "types" out a string of alphabet numeric characters that the barcode
represents.
it's up to the database software you are using to interpret what that string of characters
means. Once you acquire the barcodes, you have to correlate them to something more

6
meaningful by either purchasing a software service that will interpret the barcode and
relate it to a product, or you can use your own internal inventory system to assign the
barcodes to specific products.
After creating the relationship between your barcode and the corresponded
information ,when you enter the barcode into the software by the scanner, your
software will look up the barcode and then output the related information of your
product.
Q2: Why can the scanner not read the barcodes?
Answer:
There are some reason for that.
Maybe the scanner failed to match the cradle.
Maybe the scanner was set to check mode . In check mode, the data will store in the
built in storage of scanner).
Please follow the set up steps on page 4 to set up the scanner again.
The other possible reason is that the setting is off by default, for some barcode types
are not commonly used. You need to activate a specific barcode type to get it to work .
Or maybe this is a bar code with extra check digit.
Please send us a clear picture of the barcode , our customer service will help you to
solve the problem.
Q3: Why does scanner not read the barcode exactly. When I use the scanner to read a
barcode of an item, I get a different result from the barcode itself.

7
E.g 1. When I use the scanner to read a UPCE barcode “08960007” , scanning result
is 8960007. The leading digit is missing.
Solution: The scanner was set to not read the leading digit of UPCE barcode by default.
If you want to set the scanner to read the leading digits of UPCE , please read the
following code ordrly "enter into settings">" show UPCE leading digit">"exit settings"
(On Page 28 )
E.g 2. There are two separate barcodes together. It scanned the first 12 digits in the
barcode but not the last five.
Solution: The scanner was set to not read the extra code by default.
If you want to set the scanner to read the five extra code of UPCA, please scan the code
"enter into settings">" Read extra 5 digits of UPCA">"exit settings"(on page 28)
E.g 3. The original barcode is“abc12345”,the scanning result is “+A+B+C+D12348”,
the scanner put “+” between character.
Solution: The scanner was set to not read the Code 39 Full ASCll code by default.
If you want to set the scanner to read Code 39 Full ASCll code, please scan the code
"enter into settings">“Read Code39 FULL ASCII“ >"exit settings“ (on page 29)
If that is not your case, please send us a clear picture of the barcode and the result you
get, our customer service will help you to solve the problem.
Q4.Is there any barcodes to remove auto-enter after every scanning?
Answer:
To remove the auto-enter, please read the code”Cancel Enter”on page 18.

The scanner has three paring mode:
1.1 .One scanner to one cradle:One barode scanner send barcode to one cradle
Pairing operation:
Scan the "One to One" barcode, the scanner will go into pairing mode and beeps
continuously. Then insert the cradle to USB port, if the scanner has one "beep" in 3s
that means the pairing is succeed.
Note: 5 second after the cradle is inserted, the cradle's blue light will be flicking, that
indicated that the cradle can not be paired. So If the pairing fails, you need to pull off
the usb receiver and re-set as the previous steps.

10
Several units can work independently with different computers in the same area. They
won't interface with each other during work.
If you want to use them on multiple computers, each with own scanner and receiver.
Please follow the setps
1) Scan the code “one to one”using scanner A , and then plug the cradle A to
computer’s usb port.
2) After the blue light of cradle A is flicking or unplug the cradle A, scan the code
“one to one”using scanner B , and then plug the cradle B to another computer’s usb
port

11
1.2. One scanner to many cradle: One barcode scanner send barcode to a
number of cradle
Pairing operation:
1) Scan the "One to More" barcode using scanner A, the scanner will go into pairing
mode and beeps continuously. Then insert the cradle A into USB port, if the scanner
has one "beep"in 3s that means the pairing is succeed.
2) Then plug the second cradle B into USB port to connect it to the scanner A.
....
One scanner can be connected to maximum 8 cradle.
if you have added to the required number of receiver, press the trigger to end the
adding.
Note: The more cradle you add, the longer time it takes to upload the barcode.

12
1.3.More scanner to one cradle:A number of barcode scanner send barcode
to one receiverPairing operation:
Pairing operation:
1) Scan the "More to One" barcode using scanner A, the scanner A will go into pairing
mode and beeps continuously,
Then insert the cradle A to USB port, if the scanner has one "beep" in 3s that means the
pairing is succeed, meanwhile the light of receiver will flicker.
2) Unplug the cradle A, scan the "More to One" barcode using scanner B, the scanner A
will go into pairing mode and beeps continuously,
Then insert the cradle A again to USB port, if the scanner has one "beep" in 3s that
means the pairing is succeed, meanwhile the light of receiver will flicker.
.....
Note: The more scanner you add, the longer it takes to wait for the bar code to be
uploaded.

13
2. Upload mode setting
The scanner has three upload mode:
2.1. Normal mode:
Scanning barcode and real-time upload the barcode. If the barcode is upload
successfully, the blue LED light will flicker once, at the same time buzzer will beep.
Scan the code "Normal Mode" to set the scanner to normal mode
Under the normal mode, the transmission distance is over 400m where there are no
obstacles. If it exceeds the transmission distance or the data upload failed, the scanner
will let out 3 short prompt.
2.2.Non-losing Mode:
The barcode will be uploaded to the receiver in real-time when the scanner is in
wireless tranmission range. When the scanner is out of the wireless tranmission range,
the data will be stored in scanner’s own memory .
After scanner is reaching the wireless transmission range, the lost data which are stored
will be uploaded to the computer automatically.
Scan the code " Non-losing Mode" to set the scanner to Non-losing Mode
