Product Care and Maintenance
Warranty
The
WIBAR®
WB -720
carries
a
twelve
month
warranty
to
rectify
manufacturing
defects.
It
does
not
cover
problems
arising
from
accidental
damage
or
product
misuse.
Specifications
are
subject
to
change
without
notice.
Flip Down Plate Holder
WB-ACCP
• Clean by wiping with a damp cloth.
• Do not use abrasives, spray lubricants, hard brushes or strong
detergents.
• Regularly check for loose parts and tighten if required.
• Remove the product from the vehicle when using a commercial car
wash.
• Check your vehicle height with the product fitted to ensure you are
aware of height limitations.

IMPORTANT:
Vehicles
fitted
with
aftermarket
led
rear
lamps
with
no
resistors
may
flash
too
fast
for
the
WIBAR
® to
transmit
so
please
take
note
should
this
affect
you.
Adding
resistors
will
slow
the
flash
rate
of
the
indicators
and
steady
the
signal
transmission.
“Forget Me Not” Feature
WiBar® Bracket Assembly
The WIBAR ® “FORGET
ME
NOT ”
feature
once
connected
will
remind
the
driver by
sounding
a
buzzer
in
the
cabin
to
return
to
the
site
and
remove
the
WIBAR™
if
forgotten.
An
ON/OFF
switch
will
need
to
be
installed
on
the
dash,
which
will
allow
the
user
to
turn
on
this
function.
Without
this
switch
the
buzzer
will
sound
when
the
WIBAR®
is
turned
off.
For
this
feature
to
work,
a
cable
from
the
launcher
will
need
to
be
installed
in
the
cabin
using
the
DT
plug
supplied
and
connected
to
a
buzzer.
How
it
Works:
Once
signal
is
lost
between
the
WIBAR®
and
launcher,
the
buzzer
will
sound.
Please Note: This function will only work using OPTION 1 wiring
connection (Orange Wire Install).

Standard Features
Power
&
Charging
The
WIBAR ®
has
sufficient
power
to
operate
for
more
than
two
(2)
days
without
the
need
to
be
charged .
When
it
requires
charging ,
two
(2)
supplied
options
are
available
to
the
user
i.e.
10-30 v
cigarette
plug
charger
(2
amp)
and
240v
charger
(3
amp)
Charge
time
is
approximately
4
hours
to
full
charge.
The
LAUNCHER
(transmitter)
is
10-30v
and
comes
with
a
user
friendly
harness
to
accommodate
installation.
Although
the
launcher
is
made
to
withstand
the
harshest
of
conditions ,
it
is
suggested
to
mount
the
unit
free
from
moisture
and
in
a
position
where
it
is
unlikely
to
be
damaged
or
interfered
with.
Maximum
distance
from
LAUNCHER
–
WIBAR®
is
more
than
100m
and
can
be
affected
by
many
factors
such
as
weather,
heat,
obstacles
etc.
The WIBAR® WB-720 comes standard with the following features:

Positioning
The
UV Stable housing
has
an
adjustable
slide
channel
to
allow
the
magnets
to
be
placed
anywhere
along
the
extrusion
to
accommodate
the
best
seating
position
of
the
WIBAR®.
The
tilt
brackets
will
allow
the
WIBAR®
to
be
adjusted
to
ensure
best
photo
metrics
are
achieved
from
the
rear.
CAUTION
Please
ensure
that
the
magnets
are
free
from
metallic
swarf
(metallic
shavings ,
dirt
etc )
prior
to
attaching
to
the
vehicle
to
avoid
scratching
paintwork.

Very
Important:
Vehicles
fitted
with
trailer
modules
i.e.
Trailer
reducers ,
independent
power
supplies
etc.
will
need
the
WIBAR®
LAUNCHER
wired
in
before
this
point .
In
doing
so
will
ensure
the
signal
is
not
delayed
in
transmission
to
the
WIBAR®.
This
will
mainly
affect
the
indicator
circuit
being
very
erratic
and
non-responsive
.
A
qualified
auto
electrician
will
be
able
to
locate
this
point
and
install
the
launcher
correctly .
External
aerial
extensions
will
be
available
at
your
local
stockist
to
extend
signal
transmission.
NOTE:
The Orange wire can be connected in 2 ways:
OPTION 1: Using a 10amp IGNITION fused circuit, connect the orange wire to
a battery supply 10-30v on the vehicle (Recommended).
OPTION 2: Connect the orange wire together with the brown wire (tail circuit).
