OPERATION
To attach
1Position the lifter on to the load ensuring vacuum cups are in contact with
surface so that the red line can be visible.
2Apply pressure and pump the plungers until the cups attach completely. When
the red line is hidden, vacuum is sufficient for lifting.
3Check the plunger frequently to make sure the cups remain securely attached. If
the red line appears while lifting, set down the load immediately and pump the
plunger until the red line is hidden again, (see WARNINGS).
4When using the CabiLIFT in the vertical position the long handled carrying
handles can be removed by removing the 2 locking bolts.
To Release
1Set the load on a secure support/base.
2Press the release valve until the cup disengages.
Cleaning
1Remove the air lifter from the cups surface.
2Use a clean sponge or lint free cloth to apply soapy water or other mild cleanser
to the cups face. See WARNINGS for more information.
3Wipe all residue from the cup faces.
4Allow the cup to dry and re-install the air lifter.
CAUTION: Remove the cups when not in use.
CAUTION: To prevent liquid from contaminating the pump, hold the cup face
facing down or cover the suction hole in the filter recess.

WARNINGS
Failure to observe these WARNINGS could damage the hand cups or the load
or cause injury to the user.
Do not use the cups to lift loads that exceed the maximum load capacity
or the effective capacity.
Do not lift load if you do not feel comfortable with the weight you are
attempting to lift.
Do not use the cups to support a person.
Do not place the cups face against surfaces which could damage the
sealing edges.
Avoid conditions that could cause the cups to slip or disengage
prematurely, such as contaminants, cuts or scratches in the cups face, or
contact surface. Applying the cups to porous materials or applying
pressure against the cups edge.
Do not use the cups to lift when the red line is visible. If the red line
reappears frequently, discontinue use and see service.
Do not allow anything to interfere with free movement of the plunger
while the cups are attached.
Do not touch the release valve levers while lifting.
Do not use harsh chemicals, (such as solvents or gasoline or unauthorised
rubber cleaners and conditioners to clean the cups).
§
The CabiLIFT is totally unsuitable and unsafe for attachment to

MAINTENANCE
Inspection
Hand cups use vacuum to lift and carry loads as follows:-
A manual pump removes air between the rubber pads and the contact surface,
a red line on the pump plunger serves as a vacuum indicator. A check valve
allows the user to re-pump the cups without removing them from the contact
surface, and the release mechanism allows the cups to disengage completely.
Maximum load capacity includes a 3:1 safety factor and requires the following:
Attachment on a clean, smooth non-porous flat surfaces, a maximum vacuum
level of 171/2” Hg (-59 kPa), and a fraction coefficient of 1.The rating is based
on tests on new hand cups attached to the upper, horizontal surface of static
objects in ideal conditions.
Many factors can reduce the capacity including lifting a load when the cup is
attached to a vertical inclined surface or lifting a load that applies leverage to
the cup.
Use the cups on clean, relatively smooth non-porous surfaces at temperatures
from 10°to 120°farenheit. (-12°to 49°celcius). Moisture or contaminants can
reduce the slip resistance of the cups. The red line indicator may not perform
reliably at elevations above 5000 feet, (1524 metres). See SERVICE.
Examine and test the cups regularly to make sure they do not exhibit the
following faults.
Cuts or damage to sealing of rubber pads.
Cracks or dents in handle or pump.

be dirty or the cups may require service. First clean the cups face according to
the directions. If the condition persists contact NAL Ltd, email: [email protected]
