DIRECT COOKING
1. Open the lid
2. Locate the grill outdoors on a solid, level, non-combusble surface.
3. Make sure the ash pan is cleaned and in place during lighng and anyme during use.
4. Use either the Charcoal Starter (not included) or place lighter cubes or crumpled newspaper under a
cone shaped pile of charcoal.
5. Light the newspaper or lighter cubes up.
6. Once fully lit, close the lid and allow the charcoal to burn.
7. Use tongs with long heat resistant handles, spread the coals to evenly cover the enre grate.
: When lit for the rst me, the grill emits a slight odor. This is a normal temporary
condion caused by the “burn-in” of internal paints and lubricants used in the manufacturing process and
does not occur again. The barbecue shall be heated up and the fuel kept red hot for at least 30 min prior
to the rst cooking. Keep the lid and base vents fully open.
Charcoal Usage

* Charcoal recommendaons are approximate, longer cooking mes require addional charcoal to be added. As well,
colder, windy temperatures will require addional charcoal to reach ideal cooking temperatures.
Using the Charcoal Starter
1. Turn the Charcoal Starter upside down.
2. Crumple two full sheets of newspaper and stu them into the boom of
the Charcoal Starter.
3. Turn the Charcoal Starter right side up and place it in the centre of the rm
and level charcoal grate.
4. Add appropriate amount of charcoal but do not over ll.
5. Light a match, and insert into one of the boom air vents to ignite the
newspaper.
6. When the top layer of charcoal has a light coang of grey ash, wearing
protecve gloves (minimum thermal protecon Class II, DIN EN 407)
carefully pour the hot charcoal onto the charcoal grate.
7. Once the hot charcoal is placed into the grill, spread the charcoal out
evenly using tongs with long heat resistant handles.

• Only use the Charcoal Starter to light charcoal for charcoal grills. Never use the Charcoal Starter for
other than intended use.
•Always wear protecve gloves (minimum thermal protecon Class II, DIN EN 407) when handling the
Charcoal Starter, while cooking and when adjusng the vents.
• Do not allow children and/or pets to climb in the grill’s cart.
•Do not leave the Grill or the Charcoal Starter unaended while in use.
•Use extreme cauon when pouring hot coals out of the Charcoal Starter.
•Never add charcoal starter uid to hot or warm coals. Once charcoal is ignited no more uid is
required.
•Aer use and before lighng, charcoal starter uid should be capped and stored a safe distance away
from the grill, at least 25  (7.6 m).

Grill Use: We recommend preheang the grill by operang it with the lid closed for approximately 20
minutes. Do not cook before the charcoal has a coang of ash.
: Control are-ups by slightly closing the vents on your grill. To completely exnguish coals/
re, close all vents and lid completely. Do not use water to control are-ups or exnguish coals, as it may
damage your grill’s nish.
: Leave the lid vents open to increase the burning temperature of the coals. Closing
the vents either parally or completely will help to cool down the coals. Completely close the air and lid
vents to exnguish a ame.

: Remove the ashes from the ash pan only when they are completely exnguished.
Use a metal spatula or scoop to remove remaining coals and ashes from grill. Place them in a non-
combusble metal container and completely saturate with water. Leave in container an addional 24
hours before disposing.

: The grids and warming rack are best cleaned with a brass wire brush during the
pre-heang period. Steel wool can be used for stubborn stains.
: Remove the cooking grids. Use a brass wire brush to clean loose debris from
the bowl and the insides of the lid. Scrape the inside of the bowl with a puy knife or scraper, and use
a wire brush to remove ash. Sweep all debris from inside the grill into the removable ash/drip pan. If
desired you can wash the inside of the grill with a mild detergent and water. Rinse well with clear water
and wipe dry.
WARNING!

: Ashes, grease and excess drippings pass through to the ash/drip pan, located beneath the
charcoal grill, and accumulate. To clean, slide the pan free of the grill. Never line the pan with aluminum
foil, sand or any other material as this could prevent the grease from owing properly. The pan should
be scraped out with a puy knife or scraper, and all the debris brushed into a non-combusble metal
container. Wash the ash/drip pan with a mild detergent and water. Rinse well with clear water and wipe
dry.

: Exterior grill surfaces should be cleaned with warm soapy water while
the metal is sll warm to the touch.
: To clean stainless surfaces, use a stainless steel or a non-abrasive cleaner. Always
wipe in the direcon of the grain. Over me, stainless steel parts discolor when heated to a golden or
brown hue. This discoloraon is normal and does not aect the performance of the grill.
 



着火方法
初めての着火時：初めて着火する際、グリルから多少においが発生します。 これは製造段階で使用された
内部の塗料や滑剤が焼きつくことによる一時的なもので、異常ではなく、再度発生することはありません。
バーベキュー用グリルは、最初に調理する少なくとも 30 分前から加熱し、燃料を高温の状態にしておき
ます。蓋および台の通気口を全開にしておきます。

*推奨される炭の数は大体のものであり、調理時間が長い場合はさらに炭を追加する必要があります。
また、気温が低い日や風が強い日には、理想の調理温度にするために追加のチャコールが必要になります。
1. 蓋を開ける
2. グリルを屋外の水平で安定のよい不燃性の場所に置く
3. 着火時および使用時には、灰受けがきれいになっており、適切に設置されていることを確認する。
4. チャコールスターター（別売）を使用するか、固形着火剤または丸めた新聞紙の上に炭を山型に盛る。
5. 新聞紙または固形着火剤に火を着ける。
6. 完全に着火したら、蓋を閉め、炭の表面が薄い灰色の灰に変化するまで燃焼する。
7. 柄が長めの耐熱性のトングを使い、炭をグレート（焼き網）全体に均一に広げる。
チャコールスターターを使用する
1. チャコールスターターを逆さにする。
2. 新聞紙 2枚を丸めて、チャコールスターターの底に詰める。
3. チャコールスターターの上下を元の状態に戻し、水平で安定した
チャコールグレートの真ん中に置く。
4. 適量の炭を入れる。この時、入れすぎないように注意する。
5. マッチに火を着けて底の通気口の 1つに入れ、新聞紙に着火する。
6. 炭の一番上の層がうっすらとグレーの灰になったら、保護手袋を着用して
（最低限の断熱性 Class II、DIN EN 407）高温の炭を火床の上に慎重に置
きます。
7. 熱くなった炭をグリルに置いたら、柄が長めの耐熱性のトングを使い、
炭を均一に広げる。

炭が着火すれば、それ以上の液体は必要ありません。
•使用後および着火前、チャコールスターター液は蓋を閉め、グリルから 7.6m (25フィート) 以上
離れた安全な場所に保管してください。
調理方法
グリルの使用：約20 分間、蓋を閉じてグリルを予熱することをお勧めします。炭の表面が灰になる前には、
調理しないでください。
炎上：グリルの通気口を少し閉じて、炎上を調整できます。 炭火や炎を完全に消すには、すべての
通気口を閉じ、完全に蓋を閉じてください。炎の調整または炭火の消火に水を使用しないでください。
グリルのコーティングが傷む場合があります。
通気口の調整：炭の燃焼温度を上げるには、蓋の通気口を開けたままにします。通気口を一部または
完全に閉めると、炭の温度が下がります。炎を消すには、底および蓋の通気口を完全に閉めます。
グリルの使用後：確実に火が消えてから、灰受けから灰を取り除く。金属製のスパチュラまたは
シャベルで、グリルから残った炭と灰を取り除く。その炭と灰を不燃性の金属製容器に入れ、
完全に水に浸す。容器に入れたままさらに 24 時間待ってから、廃棄する。

警告！グリルを掃除する際は、必ず防護手袋と保護メガネを着用してください。
警告！グリルの掃除には、高圧洗浄機を一切使用しないでください。
警告！やけどの危険を防ぐため、グリルが冷たくなった状態でのみ手入れを行ってください。防護用具を着用
せずに、熱い表面を触らないでください。グリルの掃除は、洗浄液がデッキや芝生、パティオを傷つけることがない
場所で行ってください。このグリルの掃除に、オーブン用洗浄剤は一切使用しないでください。グリルの調理用
焼き網やその他の部品の掃除に、オーブンのセルフクリーン機能を使用しないでください。バーべキューソースと
塩には腐食作用があり、定期的に掃除をしないとグリルの部品がすぐに腐食する原因となります。
警告！油脂が溜まると、火災につながる恐れがあります。油脂の蓄積を防ぐため、脂受けはグリル使用後、
毎回掃除してください。
手入れ/掃除の方法
灰/脂の受け皿は、使用後毎回、空にすることをお勧めします。
焼き網とウォーミングラック：焼き網とウォーミングラックは、予熱の段階に真ちゅう製のワイヤーブラシで
掃除するのが最も効果的です。こびりついた汚れには、スチールウールも使えます。
グリル内部の掃除：調理用焼き網を取り外します。真ちゅう製のワイヤーブラシを使って、ボウルと蓋の
内側についたごみを取り除きます。パテナイフかスクレイパーを使ってボウルの内側をこすり、ワイヤー
ブラシで灰を取り除きます。グリルの内側のすべてのごみを、取り外し可能な灰/脂受けに落とします。
必要に応じて、中性洗剤と水でグリルの中を洗うこともできます。きれいな水でよく流して、拭いて乾かし
てください。
灰/脂受け：灰や油脂が、チャコールグリルの下にある灰/脂受けに落ちて溜まります。掃除するには、
灰/脂受けをグリルから取り外します。灰/脂受けにはアルミホイルや砂、その他の物を絶対に敷かな
いでください。油脂が適切に流れなくなってしまいます。 灰/脂受けは、パテナイフかスクレイパーでこ
すり落とし、出たごみはすべて不燃性の金属容器にブラシで落とします。灰/脂受けは中性洗剤と水で
洗います。きれいな水でよく流して、拭いて乾かしてください。
グリル外面の掃除：グリルの外面は、金属が触ってまだ温かいうちに、温かい石鹸水を使って掃除します。
ステンレスの掃除：ステンレス表面の掃除には、ステンレスクリーナーまたは非研磨タイプのクリーナーを
使ってください。必ずステンレスの目に沿って拭いてください。時間の経過とともに、ステンレスの部分は金色
または茶色になるまで加熱され変色します。この変色は異常ではなく、グリルの性能に影響はありません。
ナポレオングリルの塗料が塗られた部分や磁器、ステンレスの部分には、研磨洗浄剤またはスチール
ウールを使用しないでください。 表面に傷がつく恐れがあります。

點燃說明
初次點燃︰第一次點燃時，烤架會散發出輕微的氣味。這是正常且暫時的狀況，這是因為製造程序
中使用的內部塗料和潤滑劑「預燒」引起，不會再次發生。首次烹飪前，應先對烤架進行加熱處
理，而且燃料應保持熾熱至少 30 分鐘。蓋板與底部通風孔應保持完全通透。。
