USE INSTRUCTIONS
SETUP:
1. Wipe the blades clean with a cloth.
2. Close the blades and hold with light pressure.
3. The dial indicator should be on 0.
4. If the dial indicator is not on 0, loosen the bezel lock screw.
Rotate the bezel so that the dial indicator is pointing to 0.
5. Tighten the bezel lock screw.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Keep the caliper clean and dry
2. To clean, use damp cotton fabrics. Do not use acetone or abrasive cleaners.
3. Keep the gear rack clear of dust and other particles
4. Always store in protective hard case to guard against damage.

READING INSTRUCTIONS
For quick reading, combine the numbers of the beam scale and the dial in order:
I. Read the integral values on
the main scale of the beam
(noted in tenths of an inch).
II. Read the number on the dial.
III. Combine the two numbers.
As illustrated in the right figure:
2.8 in + 0.072 in = 2.872 in
