Working staff must have undergone professional training provided by manufacturer prior to
installation and maintenance work.
This unit can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the unit in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the unit. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not
be made by children without supervision.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Prior to cleaning or maintenance, the unit must be disconnected from the supply mains.

the operating condition of this unit, please read this manual prior to operation and keep it for future
reference. (Retain manual in reserve)

SAFETY INSTRUCTION
Please read the following instruction prior to operation.
WARNING:
**WORKING STAFF MUST HAVE UNDERGONE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROVIDED BY
MANUFACTURER PRIOR TO INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE WORK**
1. Risk of electric shock may cause injury or death.
2. Disconnect the power supply before any service or care maintenance work is carried out.
DURING OPERATION:
1. Please do not attempt to repair unit at own discretion. Please contact manufacturer or an
authorized service provider.
2. Do not insert anything between air outlet blades to prevent injury caused by fan damage.
3. Never spill any kind of liquid into unit. Should this happen, please immediately disconnect power
supply and contact the authorized service provider.
4. Do not place any object over unit during operation.
5. If you do not intend to use the remote control for a long period of time, please remove the battery.
6. If power cord is damaged, for safety, it must be replaced by manufacturer, the authorized service
provider or a similarly qualified personnel to avoid hazard.
7. The unit must be installed according to the local electrical rules.
8. The unit is designed with a special protection function: after continuing operation for 8 hours, it will
enter into Sleep Mode for 30-minute where all indicators will be extinguished. Then, the unit will
restart automatically after the 30-minute sleep.
9. If there is no action performed after unit has operated for 1 minute, all indicators and the display
screen on control panel will be extinguished, while other functions still normally operate. To wake
indicators up, please press any one of the buttons.
DISPOSAL:
1. Please recycle or dispose of the packaging material in an environmental friendly way.
2. Do not dispose of unit as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection facilities. If unit is
disposed in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances may leak into underground water and get
into the food chain to damage environment.
OTHERS:
1. The unit is for indoor use only. Maintain good air circulation and make sure that there is enough
fresh air when using unit.
2. The unit is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the unit by personnel responsible for their safety.
3. Juveniles shall be supervised by parents to ensure that they won’t mishandle the unit.
4. Warm air may release from air outlet when unit is operating at the first time. This is normal due to
catalytic oxidation taking place inside NCCO Reactor. To optimize the capacity of the unit, leave
unit operating for 15 minutes at the first time of operation.
5. When operating the unit, please make sure there is at least 1 air change per hour.

INSTALLATION GUIDE
FIRST-TIME OPERATION:
1. Please check installation site prior to installation work. The unit
is better to be installed near to the source of pollutants or user.
2. The installation site shall have enough area for unit to have a
smooth airflow.
3. The unit is not intended for installation near the exhaust air duct
or window.
POWER SUPPLY:
1. Power supply shall be available at installation place. Make sure
that power supply frequency is correct.
STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS:
1. Correctly install unit in accordance with the government
regulations.
2. For safety concerned, it is not recommended to install unit near
to the fire alert system.
3. Install electric cord and circuit in accordance with safety
standards and regulations of electric engineering.
INSTALLATION (PLEASE FOLLOW THE PROCEDURES):
1. Before removing the packaging material, move unit close to the
installation site.
2. First open the two Screw Coverings at the left side of the Air Inlet
by hand or the cross screwdriver (Figure 1), then loosen the
inside screws by cross screwdriver to open Air Inlet Cover
(Figure 2).
Note: There are two safety strings at the sides of the machine to
connect the machine body with Air Inlet Cover. Loosen
screw to take out Air Inlet Cover.
3. After opening Cover, take out HEPA Filter from unit and remove
the packaging of HEPA Filter.
4. Remove the packaging of NCCO Reactor.
5. Reassemble NCCO Reactor and HEPA Filter into unit (Figure 3).
6. First install one group of filters--NCCO Reactor and HEPA Filter.
The snapping sound indicates the filters have been correctly
installed.
7. Install other three groups of filters with the same procedures.
8. After ensuring filters have been correctly installed, align with and
fit the buckles at the two sides of the back cover. Fasten screws
and close the Screw Coverings by cross screwdriver. Then,
install the unit on ceiling (Figure 4).
9. Apply four expansion screws of Ø8mm on the pre-installed
location. The four screws should be applied just as shown at
Figure 5. Each screw should have a holding strength of at least
40 kg.
10. Install the unit on ceiling and the screws shall be at the four
leading screws. Make sure the unit is at least 2 m from the floor.
Firmly fasten all screws to avoid screws from coming loose
during operation.
11. Connect the power cord with power supply for checking.

INSTALLATION RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended to install two insurance steel wires at the kitty corner of leading screw (Figure 5) for
steadiness.
DISASSEMBLY (PLEASE FOLLOW THE PROCEDURES):
If would like to disassemble unit, first take off the unit from ceiling by loosening leading screws via
screwdriver. For other steps, please refer to the operations at Installation Guide.
ATTENTION:
**At least two operating personnel shall hold the unit when disassembling equipment to avoid it from
falling to the floor when taking off unit from leading screws.
PARTS (OPTIONAL):
There is optional parts for EC920 as remote system control and other functions. For more details,
please contact manufacturer or the authorized service provider.

REMOTE CONTROL
INSERT (OR REPLACE) THE REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY:
1. Remove the battery tray from the remote control in the direction of
the arrows that shown at the back.
2. Insert a new lithium battery in correct polarities.
3. Slide the tray back until clicking into place.
NOTE:
1. Use 1 x 3V lithium battery of CR2025.
2. If battery has not been used for 6 months, it may lose the capacity
of supplying power.
3. If you do not intend to use the remote control for a long period of
time, please remove the battery.

OPERATION GUIDE
1. ON / OFF
ON: The unit will be Auto Power On after connecting with power supply. For the first-time operation of
the unit, the air speed is at 03.
OFF: Press ON / OFF button during operation to turn unit off.
2. OPERATION INSTRUCTION
2.1. AIR SPEED ADJUST BUTTON
Press the buttons of Air Speed Reduce /Increase to adjust air speed. Air speeds are as
follows: 01 - 10 and SS.
2.2. WIND UP & DOWN BUTTON
Press the button to lock the wind direction and stop the movement of air grid if requiring to fix the
swing-flap angle. Press the Wind Up & Down Button again to resume the swing-flap mode.
2.3. TIMING BUTTON
Press the Timing Button ,where pressing once to set time with 1 hour , twice with 2
hours and so on to 9 hours as the longest timing. One more press after the timing of 9
hours to set with 0 hour for exiting the timing function.
2.4. ECO MODE BUTTON
It is recommended to select Eco Mode during sleep time, where “Eo” shows at display screen.
When entering into Eco Mode, the air speed will automatically adjust to 03, deaden speed sound and
dim all indicators.
Exit: Only need to press Eco Mode button for exiting Eco Mode and turning back to Air Speed Mode.
2.5. SS MODE
Press the Air Speed Increase Button to enter into SS Mode when the air speed is at 10. It
is recommended to select this mode to treat a seriously contaminated environment at a short time.
Press the Air Speed Reduce Button to turn back to Air Speed Mode, followed by the default air
speed at 10.
2.6. FILTER INSTALLATION SUGGESTION
When HEPA Filter or NCCO Reactor is not correctly installed or has not been installed, “Beep Beep”
sound is heard from unit and “EE” displays at control panel. Unit does not operate.
Correct Operation: Disconnect power supply, open unit cover to re-install Filter or Reactor. “Beep Beep”
sound will stop and unit will resume to operate after correct installation.

2.7. HEPA FILTER REPLACEMENT TIMER SETTING
Default HEPA Filter replacement time is 3,000 hours.
HEPA Filter Replacement Time Reminding: When the countdown timer has reached less than 100
hours, there is a reminding of Filter replacement where under the Power-On state, “HP” displays at
control panel once every 5 seconds and the “Beep Beep” sound will be heard from unit for 10 seconds.
The blower will operate normally during the time reminding. After replacing Filter, connect with power
supply but do not turn on unit. Then, long press the ON / OFF Indicator for 10 seconds and the
clicking sound will be heard from unit. Next, press the Air Speed Reduce Indicator , and “HF” will
display at the control panel. Unit automatically turns off after 5 seconds where the reminding of HEPA
Filter Replacement will stop.
2.8. NCCO REACTOR CHECKING TIMER SETTING
Default NCCO Reactor checking time is 11,000 hours.
Time Reminding of NCCO Reactor Checking: When the countdown timer has reached less than 100
hours, there is a reminding of Reactor check where under the Power-On state, “nC” displays at control
panel once every 5 seconds and the “Beep Beep” sound will be heard from unit for 10 seconds. The
blower will operate normally during the time reminding. After checking Reactor, connect with power
supply but do not turn on unit. Then, long press the ON / OFF Indicator for 10 seconds and the
clicking sound will be heard from unit. Next, press the Air Speed Increase Indicator , and “nF” will
display at the control panel. Unit automatically turns off after 5 seconds where the time reminding of
NCCO Reactor Checking will stop.
2.9. POWER DOWN MEMEORY FUNCTION
When unit is running, if user presses the ON / OFF Indicator, ON / OFF Button or uses the wire
controller to turn off unit, and presses them again to turn on unit, the unit will return to the operation
mode before Power Off.
When unit is running, if user deliberately disconnects power supply and connects power supply later on,
the unit will be Auto Power On and return to the operation mode before power down (if the unit has
been turned off before user deliberately disconnects power supply, and it is reconnected with power
supply later on, the unit will be Auto Power On and return to the operation mode before Power Off).

FILTER CARE AND REPLACEMENT
1. Filter lifetime will vary depending on the environment, operation and location of the unit.
2. To maintain optimal operating condition of the unit, only use the recommended filter.
3. Before disassembling the unit, disconnect the power supply.
4. When the NCCO Reactor needs to be replaced, it is also recommended to replace the
HEPA Filter.

RECOMMENDED FILTER CLEANING AND REPLACEMENT CYCLES AND METHODS:
*The filters cleaning and replacement cycle may vary depending on the operating environment.
**If the HEPA filter has not been replaced periodically or it has been damaged, and the surface of NCCO
Reactor is covered with dust or oily substances after disassembling, the removal capacity of the NCCO
Reactor may be badly reduced and should be replaced.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
Always disconnect power supply prior to filters cleaning or replacement.
Filter capacity may be reduced without periodical cleaning of Pre-Filter.
1. Clean Machine Body
Use soft and dry cloth to clean the unit.
Tips: Available to use damp cloth but do not use cloth made of abrasive materials.
2. Clean Air Inlet and Outlet
Use soft brush or vacuum cleaner to clean air inlet and outlet.
3. Clean Pre-Filter
Use soap or detergent to clean Pre-Filter (Dry Pre-Filter off before
reassembling Filter into unit).
WARNING:
NEVER RINSE OR SOAK STATIC FILTER, HEPA FILTER OR NCCO
REACTOR WITH WATER.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
Problem
