Thank you for your purchase of the Air Treatment Unit MODEL HK/HL. For your safety
and to optimize the capabilities of this appliance, please read and retain this manual
before operating the appliance; please keep it in a convenient and safe location for
future reference.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read the following instructions before use.
The appliance is designed for domestic usage and may only be operated in accordance with
the following instructions.
WARNING
1. Do not expose the product to water and do not unplug the product with wet hands.
2. Do not clean or spray the appliance with water, liquid, detergent, or any flammable liquids.
3. Do not obstruct the air inlet and outlet.
4. Do not use extension power cord set unless with approval by local authority.
5. Do not use the appliance when it is damaged.
6. Do not disassemble, repair, or modify the appliance on your own.
7. Do not use the appliance in the presence of burning incense and chemical fumes.
8. Do not use the appliance near heat generating devices such as stove, oven, fireplace,
heater etc. or direct sunlight.
9. Unplug the appliance if it is not being used.
10. Do not use the appliance in a location subject to significant changes in temperature.
11. Do not use the appliance in hot and humid environments such as bathrooms or kitchens.
12. If the appliance produces a strange noise, burning smell or smoke, immediately remove
the power plug from the electric socket and call the service center.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. Ensure the appliance is connected to a correctly designated power source(DC5V) as
specified on the rating plate.
2. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified service
agent.
3. The appliance is not intended for usage by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities unless they are under the supervision of or have been given instruction by a
person who is responsible for their safety.
4. When in the presence of the appliance, children should be supervised.
5. The appliance is not a substitute for proper ventilation or regular vacuuming and should
not be used in place of an extractor hood or stove top range hood.

6. Ensure the power socket is in good condition and properly connected. Ensure that the
appliance is properly connected and that the plug is not over-loaded or over-heated.
7. Only use the appliance on a dry, stable and level surface.
8. Ensure that the appliance operates at a minimum distance of 10 cm adjacent to walls or
objects.
9. Do not push, lean against or exert excessive force on any part of the appliance. Do not
stick sharp objects into any part of the appliance.
10. If the NCCO Reactor is not properly installed, the appliance would not operate.
11. Maintain good air circulation when using the appliance.
12. Prior to cleaning and maintenance, the appliance must be disconnected from the power
supply.
13. When the appliance is turned on for the first time, warm air with mineral smell may be
released from the air outlet. This is normal as catalytic oxidation is taking place inside the
NCCO Reactor.
14. The appliance is equipped with a special protection feature. When running with power
supplier connected, it will stop operating with indicating light off for 30mins. for every 8
hours’ non-stop operation. After that the appliance will resume operating automatically.
When appliance is running by power supply from built-in battery only, the appliance will
stop running 10mins for every 2 hours’ non-stop operation.
LITHIUM BATTERY SAFETY PRECAUTION:
1.
Do not use the appliance when you use it the first time and find the battery in unusual
conditions such as unclearness or odors. The appliance should be returned to the vendor.
2.
The appliance shall be kept out of heat
、
high voltage and avoided children’s play. Do not
drop the appliance.
3.
Avoid using the appliance in shaky environments.
4.
The appliance shall be prevented to be exposed in effulgence so as not to cause inside
battery over-heated, distort, smoke and weaken its performance and cycle life.
5.
Do not use the appliance in the Electro static circumstances, for it is easily destroyed the

protective circuit board so that the battery doses not work and causes over-heated,
distort, smoke or burning.
6.
Use the compatible chargers in the recommended charging method to charge the battery.
7.
Do not short-circuit the positive and negative contacts. Do not demolish or assembly the
appliance and the battery by yourself. Do not put the appliance in the damp place to
avoid danger.
8.
Please store the appliance well in dry place if it is not to be used for a long period. Make
sure the battery is charged up in half capacity.
9.
Do not put the appliance into fire or water.
Hazard Warnings:
1. Forbid Disassemble Batteries The battery has protective component and circuit internally
to avoid danger. Mishandling such as improper disassembly will destroy its protective function
and make it heat, smoke, distort or burning.
2. Forbid heat and burn the Battery If heating or burning the battery, it will cause the isolated
element in the battery dissolved, protection function stopped or the electrode burning, over
heated, which will make the battery heat, smoke, distort or burning.
3. Forbid bathing the Appliance Do not dampen the appliance or even immerse it in the water
which will cause battery’s internal protection circuit and its function lost or abnormal chemical
reactions, which will lead to heating, smoking, distortion or burning.
4. Avoid operating and charging near fire or in the sunlight It will cause internal protection
circuit and its function lost or abnormal chemical reactions, which will lead to heating, smoking,
distortion or burning.

INSTALLATION GUIDE
Using the appliance for the first time:
1. Read the instruction manual and retain for future reference.
2. Remove all packaging, use a soft dry cloth to clean all the parts then re-assemble parts
back together.
Installation Procedure:
1. Press the button on side panel of the body
and use anther hand to pull up the cover to
open the cover.
2. Remove the package of the NCCO reactor
as well which is place on top inside the
giftbox.
3. Take out the HEPA Filter and remove the
package.
4. Place the HEPA filter to the NCCO reactor
to make it as filter set.
5. Install the filter set to the machine body.
Press it down firmly.
*Make sure the filter set fits the machine
body well.
6. Resume the cover to its original position
by press it down till a snap sound heard.
Connect to power supply and press on/off
button to switch on the unit.
Using Method (in vehicle)
A) Position the appliance on any dry and flat surface inside the vehicle.
1. Make sure power supply is disconnected before lifting up/move the appliance.
2. Plug the power cord’s DC plug to the appliance’s DC socket.
3. Place the appliance on a flat surface inside the car.
4. Connect the other end of the power cord with the car plug and
connect to the smoke lighter socket. Installation finished.

B) Hanging to the headrest.
1. Make sure power supply is disconnected before lifting up/move the
appliance.
2. Use a spiral to loosen the screws of the 2 small covers on the
bottom side of the appliance. Place the belt across the
rectangular holes, then resume the covers to their original position
and fasten the covers’ screws.
3. Plug the power cord’s DC plug to the appliance’s DC socket.
4. Hang the appliance to the headrest by using the belt.
5. Adjust the belt length and tight the belt by the buckle.
Installation finished.

Make sure the belt is tight enough to prevent the appliance swings.

DO NOT place the appliance in the position right above the control
and display panel to avoid over-heated, which may lead to battery
damages.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Power on / off
Power on:
Press po er button to turn on the appliance.
An alert tone ill be on to signal that the machine is connected
to electricity.
Po er off: When fan speed reach high, press the po er button again to turn off the appliance.
2. Select Fan Speed
Silent mode: When the po er is on, the system ould start operating at Silence Mode and
hite indicating light ould be sho n.
High fan speed
:
Press the Po er Button again (second time) after turning on the appliance,
blue light ould be sho n.
3. Tips for Filter installation
When NCCO Reactor is installed improperly, machine ill not ork ith a “DiDi” sound
beeping.
Solution: disconnect the machine from the electricity socket. Open the cover to take out all
filters and re-install the filters.
After the installation is correct, the sound stops and the appliance resumes operating.
4. Built-in Battery
The appliance equipped ith a built-in 3000 mAh lithium battery to supply po er to the appliance
in case there is not po er supply from other sources.
4.1 Operation Mode
When appliance is running by po er supply from built-in battery only, the appliance ill stop
running 10mins for every 2 hours’ non-stop operation.
4.2 Low battery warning
When Battery is running flat. The LED indicating light ill keep flash to give a arning signal
that battery level is lo . Charging up is needed. Other ise, the appliance ill be off in minutes.
4.3 Battery charging
When the appliance is charging only ithout operating, the LED indicating light ill flash in hite
and blue till battery is fully charged.

5. Protection scheme
If the power supply is not stable, it may trigger the protection scheme that the appliance will stop
operating. Please make sure correct adaptor is used.
6. Memory function
The appliance will remain the same operation status as last usage when there is power supplier
again. When power supply from socket is disconnected, it will automatically switch to built-in
battery as the power supply to the appliance. Appliance will continuously operate in case battery
is not flat.
Reminder:
When appliance is operating, power button’s indicating light will be on.
Disconnect the power supply if the appliance is not to be used or not to charge up built-in battery.
Attention: The appliance is equipped with a special protection feature. When running with

FILTERS CARE AND REPLACEMENT
1. Filter lifetime may vary depends on environment, usage and location of the appliance.
2. To maintain optimal performance, only use recommended filters.
3. Al ays disconnect appliance from the po er supply before disassembling.
4. When the NCCO Reactor needs to be replaced, it is recommended to replace the HEPA
Filter at the same time.
Recommended cleaning and replacement cycle of filters:
* The recommended cleaning and replacement cycle of filters may vary depends on environment.
** When HEPA/Dust filter is not replaced regularly or damaged, hich may result in dust cumulating on surface of
NCCO reactor or oily substances contaminating the NCCO reactor; Under these circumstances, performance of
NCCO reactor ill be deducted and replacement for a ne one might be needed.

Filter Replacement Procedure:
1.Remove filter packages.
2.Press the side panel’s button to open the top cover.
3.Take out the filters by lifting up.
4. Put the HEPA Filter to the NCCO reactor and
then the hole filter set to the machine units.
5. Resume the cover to its original position by press it do n till a snap sound heard.
*Make sure the filter set fits the machine body ell.

FILTER CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Al ays disconnect the appliance from the electricity socket before cleaning or replacement
of the filters.
2. Replace HEPA Filter regularly to maintain the performance of the appliance.
3. Do not ipe or clean the HEPA Filter or NCCO Reactor ith ater.
1. Cleaning Exterior Body
Use dry and soft cloth to clean the appliance.
The cover can be ashed by ater.
Attention: Make sure the cover is dried out before
assembling it back to the machine unit.
Tips: damp cloth can be used to clean the surface of
the appliance. Do not use abrasive materials.
2. Cleaning Air Inlet and Outlet
Clean the air inlet and outlet ith a soft brush or vacuum cleaner.
Warning:
Do not rinse or soak HEPA Filter or NCCO Reactor ith
ater.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
Problems Resolutions
The appliance does not operate Check if the device has been plugged in.
Start up the device.
Appliance is “beeping” in sound
and does not operate.
Check if the Filters are installed correctly.
Reinstall all Filters
No air is blowing through air outlet.
Check if the Filters are installed correctly.
Check if there is power source to the appliance.
The air quality is not yet improved
after a longtime operation.
When the appliance is used in a more polluted area, the
treatment will take a longer time. Use more units or use the
appliance for longer period if necessary.
The Filter may require cleaning and replacement.
Clean and replace the Filters.
The airflow from air outlet
becomes slow.
The dust-removing filter may be blocked.
Replace the filter (see section "maintenance and
replacement" of this manual).
Make sure all packaging materials are removed.
The appliance makes an
abnormal noise.
Make sure all packaging materials are removed.
Make sure the air inlet and outlet are not blocked by external
objects.
Remove all adjacent objects that block the air inlet and
outlet.
The device may fail.
Call the customer service center for advice or consult with a
qualified agent.
