Perform Rinse (x 3 Times a Day)
NESCAFÉ Milano “Combi” Coffee Machine
Summary Operational Guide (Page 1 of 2)
1. Remove all internal parts from machine:
- Unclip nozzles, unlock/pull off mixer bowls and impellor:
(a), (b), (e) and (f)
- Remove steam trap (g)
- Remove product chute (h)
- Remove drip tray, empty contents (i)
- Remove grounds drawer, empty contents (j)
2. Using a Food Grade Sanitiser
i) Clean all internal parts, then rinse in warm water and dry.
ii) Wipe over interior and exterior of machine
3. Reassemble internal parts back in machine, as per their
original position (with the exception of the drip tray and
grounds drawer –replace these after following Part 2 below).
DAILY Cleaning Procedure
PART 1 – MACHINE SHOULD BE “TURNED OFF”
Product Replenishment/Filling The Canisters
1. Unlock door using the key and lift coffee machine lid/roof.
2. Roast & Ground Canister (C1):
- Lift lid off canister, fill with NESCAFÉ R&G Beans, replace lid
3. Soluble Canisters (C2, C3, C4):
- Close powder chute, press down the orange/burgundy clip
- Remove canisters from machine and take lids off canisters
- Fill with Soluble products:
- C2 = NESTLÉ Milano Hot Chocolate
- C3 = NESTLÉ Milano Skimmed Milk Product
- C4 = NESCAFÉ Milano Ispirizione Coffee
4. Replace canister lids and put canisters back in machine
5. Open (orange/burgundy) powder chutes –VERY
IMPORTANT!
6. Close machine door and lock.
7. Perform Rinse (see below).
1. Place 0.5 litre jug, or large cup, under dispense outlet.
2. Scroll along to cleaning screen, by pressing the light blue
box on the bottom right of the touch screen.
3. Press Clean Icon to start rinse.
4. The automatic rinsing will start by rinsing dispense hoses,
nozzles and mixing bowls.

We would recommend that you rinse your machine at least 3 x
times a day:
•First thing, before dispensing any drinks
•After refilling canisters
•After cleaning machine
DAILY Cleaning Procedure
PART 2 – MACHINE SHOULD REMAIN “OFF”
1. Remove Brewer from machine and rinse under warm running
water, to clear excess grinds:
- Unclip dispense nozzle from dispense head (k - not pictured)
- Remove safety cover (l)
- Remove orange carter off grinder dispense (m)
- Remove brewer - pull orange clip towards you, lift brewer
unit up/towards you (n).
2. Reassemble parts on to machine (n), (m), (l) and then (k)
- (n) If not locked in, twist
3. Replace grounds drawer and drip tray.
4. Close door and turn machine back on.
5. Perform Rinse.

MONTHLY Cleaning ProceduresWEEKLY Cleaning Procedure
1. Follow “DAILY Cleaning Procedure – Part 1”. However, this
time leave internal parts to soak for 20 minutes, using a food
grade sanitiser, for deep clean. Reassemble internal parts on
machine (do not rinse, or close door).
2. Leave coffee machine door open.
3. Remove orange key from lid of machine (o) and insert key
into roof of machine –above canisters (p). This will enable
you to operate the machine in “Door Open Mode”.
4. Press “Programme Key” (q) on back of machine door.
5. Select “Cleaning Mode” by pressing Button 4 (r) on touch
panel on front of machine.
6. Confirm Drip Tray Empty –Press 10 (t)
7. Is Water OK –Press 10 (s)
8. Select “HC”, by pressing Button 8 (s) on touch panel
9. When prompted, put a “Brewer Cleaning Tablet” in the
brewer chamber, as shown below and Press Button 10 (t)
1. Skip final coffee? Press any Button for yes (except 1 for
“No”).
2. Once completed, remove orange key from door and
replace in lid of machine.
3. Follow “DAILY Cleaning Procedure – Part 2”, rinsing
brewer under warm running water, will ensure all traces
off cleaning tablet have been removed.
4. Close and lock door.
5. Perform rinse.

Common Faults/Problems:
1. Remove the coffee bean hopper, by pushing the orange clip in
to close off neck/supply of beans:
2. Once neck is locked, to remove hopper, lift hopper up and
out.
3. Ideally, you will only have a small amount of beans –empty
these into an air tight container and store in a cool, dry, dark
storage to help them remain as fresh as possible.
4. Using a Food Grade Sanitiser, leave the hopper to soak for 20
minutes.
5. Rinse, then dry completely.
6. Place the hopper back in machine. Tip, put the rear of the
hopper in place, in slot, at rear in the first instance, then
lower down the front of the hopper. Once in place, pull
orange clip back out to “lock” hopper in place.
7. Refill with beans.
