Carefully read and understand this manual and any label attached to the tool
before use. Keep these instructions with the product for future reference. Ensure
all persons who use and service this product are acquainted with this manual.

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be

Read all instructions before operating.
Check that the appliance is in perfect condition and working order once
unpacked. The appliance is covered by NESCO warranty in the event of
original faults.
Check the voltage on the base corresponds to the mains voltage in your
home.
To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage appliance
on the same circuit.
Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use. If extension cord
is used: The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the
counter or table top where it can be pulled on by child.
Do not immerse base unit in water or other liquids.
Do not touch hot surface. Use potholders when removing cover or handling
hot containers to avoid steam burns.
To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse this appliance or its cord
set in water or other liquid.
Close supervision is necessary when appliance is used by or near children.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning allow to cool before
putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning the appliance.
Do not operate any appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any
manner. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for
examination, repair or adjustment.
Do not use outdoor.
Do not let cord hand over edge of table or counter or touch hot surface.
Do not operate appliance while empty or without water in the reservoir.
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot
food or water or other hot liquids.
The appliance is intended for household use only.
Lift and open cover carefully to avoid scalding and allow water to drip into
steamer.
The use of accessory attachments not recommend by the appliance manufacturer
may cause hazards.

Caution: Steam will escape through the vent holes in the lid.
Warning: The thermal trip will regulate the temperature during use. Should the
thermal trip fail, the element will overheat. The thermal ll then blow,preventing
further heating.

Place the appliance on a at, stable surface.
Pour the required amount of water into the water tank. Do not exceed the
MAX mark.
Place the steam tube around the heating component.
Place the steam collector tray on the appliance and t all other required
parts, dependant on ingredients for steaming.
Connect the appliance to a suitable electrical supply and rotate the timer
dial to the desired cooking time.
The indicator light will come on and the heating component will heat up.
Due to the small aperture in the steam tube, only a small amount of
water reaches the heating component at a time. This allows the heater to
generate steam quickly.
Once cooking is completed, rotate the timer control back to “0” position,
disconnect the appliance from the electrical supply and transfer the cooked
ingredients to a suitable receptacle.
Throughly wash lid, steam plates, steam collector, Steam tube and steam rack
in warm soapy water before rst use then rinse and dry carefully and wipe the
inside of the water reservoir with damp cloth.

Unplug cord from outlet. Before cleaning allow steamer to cool. Never
immerse the base, cord and plug in water.
Empty the drip tray and the water reservoir. If there is small amount of water
remain inside the water box. You can use upside down the unit in water will
comes out from the water inlet.
Wash lid, steam plates, steam tube and steam rack in hot, soapy water, rinse
and dry all parts.
Do not use abrasive cleaner.
In hard water area, the scale may build up on the heating element. If scale
allowed to accumulate, the steam could turn off before the food is cooked.
So after 7-10 uses, pour 2 cups clear vinegar into the water reservoir then
ll water up to MAX level. Do not place lid, steam plates, Steam collector,
Steam tube and steam rack in this procedure. Plug and set timer up to 20
minutes. When the timer ring, unplug cord from outlet. Allow the unit cool.
Completely before empty the water reservoir. User the cold water to rinse the
water reservoir several times.
