Description

Tip&safty precautions
Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug or base unit in
water or other liquid.
3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
4. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the
appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance
to the service center for examination, repair or adjustment.
5. Non-recommended accessory may cause hazard.
6. Do not use outdoors.
7. Do not let cord hang over edge of table of counter, or touch hot surfaces.
8. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in heated oven.
9. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot
food, water, or other liquids.
10. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
11. Lift and open cover carefully to avoid scalding, and allow water to drip into
Rice Cooker.
12. To reduce the electric shock, cook only in removable container. Do not pour
liquid into outer pan.
13. CAUTION: This appliance generates heat and escaping steam during use.
Proper precautions must be taken to prevent the risk of burns, res or other
damage to persons or property.
14. The cord to this appliance should be plugged into a 220 V AC electrical
outlet only.
15. When using this appliance, provide adequate air space above and on all
sides for air circulation. Do not allow this appliance to touch curtains, wall
coverings, clothing, dish towels or other ammable materials during use.
16. Never use the cooking vessel to store leftover cooked rice. Always transfer the
leftover ric3e to a proper storage container and keep it in the refrigerator until
ready for use.
17. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
18. Be sure to keep the unit out of the reach of children, especially when cooking
rice.
19. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or
assembly available from the manufacture or its service agent. (for plug socket)
20. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacture, is
service agent or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard, ( for wire
splice)
Do not immerse the heating body of the Rice Cooker in water or any other liquid!

Rice Cooker Operation
1. Measure and wash the rice. Transfer it to the cooker vessel. Do not use the
cooking vessel to wash the rice as damage may occur to the surface.
2. After transferring the rice to the cooking vessel add the water. For each
measure of rice use 1.5 measure of water.
3. Turn the cooking vessel back and forth to make certain it has good contact
with the heating element.
4. Place the lid on the rice cooker.
5. Insert the plug into the rice cooker and then plug it into the wall socket.
6. Press the electronic switch to “COOK” The indicator lamp for the function
chosen will then illuminate.
7. Once the cooking is completed for either function the “WARM” feature will
engage.
This appliance should be cleaned after every use
1. Unplug the automatic rice cooker from the outlet when not in use or before
cleaning. Never immerse Heating Body in water or any other liquid! Allow the
automatic rice cooker to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads or steel wool to clean the
automatic rice cooker.
3. Heating Body : Lightly wipe the exterior with a damp cloth or sponge. Do not
immerse heating body into soft cloth.
4. Inner Pot : ll with hot water and let it sit for a while and then wash in hot soapy
water with a soft cloth.
5. Keep the outer lid detachable inner lid dry and clean when not used.
6. Heating Plate, Thermostat : Grains of rice or other foreign matters may stick to
the heating plate. These must be removed to prevent inadequate cooking. To
remove cooked rice, smooth sand paper can be used. Smooth out and polish
the spot for good contact between the heating plate and the bottom of the
inner pot.
