Quick Start Guide

Introduction
Thank you for choosing Netsys NV-100SFP-M/S VDSL2 SFP Transceiver. This Guide will
provide you a quick overview with layout of this SFP Transceiver and description for how to
install the device in your network.

Interface Description
RJ-45Port Port for VDSL2 connection, fits to RJ-45 Plug.
CPE
Indicator
On The SFP Transceiver is NV-100SFP-S Model.
Off The SFP Transceiver is NV-100SFP-M Model.
VDSL2
Link Status
On
(Steady)
VDSL2 connection is active.
Blinking
(Slowly)
Auto-detection between CO and CPE device is
running.
Blinking
(Fast)
1. Auto-detection between CO and CPE device
is finished and ready to connect.
2. Device is transmitting or receiving data.
Off VDSL2 connection is down or malfunction
happened.
Note: Standard 24-AWG wire or Cat5e cable is recommended for VDSL2
connection.
Note: To establish VDSL2 connection, please make sure both CO & CPE device
are connected to each side of wire.
Note: The VDSL2 data transmission will ultilize PIN 4 & PIN5 on RJ-45 port.

Pivot this mechanical to loosen SFP module from SFP slot.

Installing
Note: The SFP Transceiver compatible to SFP slot which support 1000X/SerDes
interface, please check compatibility before installation.
Note: Each SFP Transceiver require 2.4 Watt, please make sure the device with
SFP slot could provide sufficient power output.
Insert the SFP Transceiver to compatible device
XDSL Pin-assignment for RJ-45 plug wiring
Using RJ-45 plug for both end of wire:
Using RJ-11 plug for one end of wire and RJ-45 plug for another end:
Note: PIN could be assigned reversely from above diagram, but using PIN 4 & 5
of RJ-45 is essential.
