4. Generalremarkaboutradiocommunication
Radiowavescannotpassthroughafullmetalgroundedwall.
However,ifthewallhasopenings,theradiowavescanpassbut
willbeattenuated.
Thewavescanpassthroughwalls(concrete),butwillbealsobe
attenuated.
‐Placethetelemeterhighup(ideallyat2/3ofthe
roomheight,inthecaseofaclosedroom)
‐Donotstickthetelemeterdirectlytothewall,ceiling,
orfloor.
‐Theantennamustbevertical
‐Themeasurementismadeattheexactpositionofthe
telemeter’ssensor.Itspositioningistherefore
essential.

Proceedtoopenandchangethebatteryinadryplaceandina
shortestpossibletime(lessthan5minutes)soasnottosaturate
theabsorber.Itisnotnecessarytochangetheabsorberexceptif
youleavethecaseopenmorethan5minutes.
Thehousingmustbecleanandfreeofdust.Cleanitifnecessary
beforeopening.
UseaPhillips™screwdriverPH2.
Unscrewthe4screwsonthetopofthehousing.
Carefullyopenthebox,takingcarenottolosethejoint.Thecase
wasclosedwithagreasesealwhichnormallyassuresitwillopen
correctly.However,inthecaseofuseinaparticularlyaggressive
orhotarea,thejointmaybegluedtothejointplane.Inthis
case,replacethesealinitsgroove.
Asaprecaution,thelubricationofthejointfacewithasilicone‐
basedgreaseisrecommendedtoensurelatereasyremoval.
ForotherLOGandTRK
Proceedtoopenandchangeofthebatteryinadryplace.
Thehousingmustbecleanandfreeofdust.Cleanitifnecessary
beforeopening.
UseaPhillips™screwdriverPH2.
Unscrewthe2screws(fortheLOG)or4screws(TRK)onthe
backofthehousing.
