REMOVING UNIT FROM PALLET
Use care in tipping the unit when removing it from the pallet as the Pack-Master unit is top
heavy. Have one person support the air cylinder while another person removes the pallet
from underneath the unit.
1. Carefully remove the upper wood framework from the shipping crate so that the unit still rests on
the pallet base. DO NOT REMOVE the plastic bands securing the unit to the pallet and the
control arm to the uprights at this time.
2. You can then use a pallet jack or forklift to move the unit to the final location where the Pack-
Master will be used. Remove the bands securing the unit to the pallet and slide the Pack-Master
off of the pallet onto the floor.
3. Once the Pack-Master is off the pallet and resting flat on the floor, you may use the wheel kit to
move the unit from one location to the next.
4. Standing behind the wheels, grasp the top of the uprights opposite the control arm with one hand.
Support the air cylinder with the other hand. Place a foot on the axle and tip the unit back and up
on the wheels to move the unit.
NOTE: Please use caution when standing unit upright to prevent it from falling forward.
CONNECTING THE AIR SUPPLY
The Pack-Master is supplied with a ‘pigtail’ and a standard quick-disconnect fitting that may be coupled
to an air hose supplying a minimum of 85 psi. You may also remove the pigtail and hard-plumb the unit
to an airline if the unit is stationary.
