Quick Start Guide
GW4
The new 5G Cellular Gateway introduces the next generation of superior
wireless utility management. It includes a simple plug-n-play setup and
facilitates the communications of thousands of wireless devices on a single
property. This cloud-connected Gateway is easily and securely connected to
the internet using Ethernet, Wifi, or built-in 5G cellular.
NextCentury Connect™ Technology
NextCentury Connect™ wireless technology is a secure, efficient, and reliable
method for communication. This technology exists to ensure excellent signal
integrity in even the most challenging wireless environments. Long-distance
900MHz radios and smart frequency hopping minimize interference, while a bi-
directional encryption engine keeps data private and secure.

⁃Not directly mounted on metal supports or beams

Connect the provided ethernet cable to the Gateway and a data port
coming from a router or network switch. The Power LED will turn blue once
online.
Utilizing the Direct Connect tool on the NextCentury Mobile App,
connect to your Gateway.
- Select the Configure button
- Tap on “Select Network” under the WiFi section
- Select your WiFi network and enter the password
Once connected and online the Power LED will turn blue.
To begin monthly service, select the “Enable Cellular” toggle on the
website or mobile app, activating a simple no-contract cellular service.
- Cellular Signal LED will indicate if a connection is available
- After enabling and online the Power LED will turn blue
Log in to the NextCentury Mobile App, and select the Direct Connect
tool from the left menu bar. Select your Gateway from the list of
available nearby devices. Once connected, advanced configuration and
setup options are available for your Gateway.
