Electrical Tester


 Veiligheidsinformatie
Voor waarborgen van veilig gebruik en
service van de tester volg deze instructies.
Nalaten van bestuderen van de waarschu-
wingen kan leiden tot ernstige verwondin-
gen of de dood.
- Vermijd het werken alleen zodat assis-
tentie verleend kan worden.
- Maak geen gebruik van meetsnoeren of
de tester wanneer deze beschadigd
lijken.
- Gebruik de tester niet als de tester niet
juist functioneert of nat is.
- Gebruik de tester alleen zoals
aangegeven staat op de Instructiekaart
anders kan de beveiliging van de tester
worden beschadigd.
- Wees extra voorzichtig tijdens gebruik
bij open geleiders of rails. Contact met
de geleider kan een elektrische schok
geven.
- Gebruik de tester niet bij het meten van
spanning in circuits waarbij deze
beschadigd kunnen worden door de
lage ingangsimpedantie van de tester.
(Circa 4KΩ)
- Wees voorzichtig met spanningen
boven de 30V AC rms of 60V DC. Deze
spanningen vormen gevaar voor schok-
ken.

 Waarschuwing
De tester start op in Ω/ continuïteit stand.
 Waarschuwing
Indien de meter wordt gebruikt in de
nabijheid van een apparatuur dat elektro-
magnetische storingen genereert, kan het
display onstabiel zijn of de metingen
kunnen (grote) afwijkingen vertonen.

Reinig de behuizing periodiek met een
droge doek en schoonmaakmiddel.
Gebruik geen schuur- of oplosmiddelen.

Beperkte garantie
Voor deze meter geldt een garantie voor
de eerste afnemer tegen gebreken in
materiaal en gebruik voor 6 maanden
vanaf de aankoopdatum. Tijdens deze
garantieperiode, zal de fabrikant, naar zijn
keus, het defecte exemplaar vervangen of
repareren, afhankelijk van de verificatie
van het defect of de storing.
Deze garantie geldt niet voor wegwerpbat-
terijen, of bij schade door verkeerd
gebruik, onachtzaamheid, een ongeluk,
ongeoorloofde reparatie, wijziging,
vervuiling, of abnormale omstandigheden
bij gebruik of hantering.
Welke bedoelde garantie dan ook, voort-
komend uit de verkoop van dit product,
inclusief maar niet beperkt tot de bedoelde
garantie van handelsbevoegdheid en
geschiktheid voor particulier gebruik, is
beperkt tot het bovenstaande. De fabrikant
is niet aansprakelijk voor verlies bij gebruik
van het instrument of andere incidentele of
consequente beschadigingen, kosten,
economisch verlies, of voor welke claim
dan ook of claims als zodanig voor
schade, kosten of economisch verlies.
Wetten van verschillende staten of landen
verschillen, dus bovengenoemde beperk-
ingen of uitzonderingen hoeven niet van
toepassing te zijn voor u.

 Safety Information
To ensure safe operation and service of the
Tester, follow these instructions.
Failure to observe warnings can result in
severe injury or death.
-Avoid working alone so assistance can
be rendered. If the operators safety can-
not be guaranteed, the Tester must be
removed from service and protected
against use.
- Prior to usage ensure perfect instrument
function (e.g. on known voltage source)
before and after the test.
- Do not connect the instrument to voltages
higher than 690V.
- The safety can no longer be insured
if the Tester :
• shows obvious damage •does not carry
out the desired measurements •has been
stored for too long under unfavorable
conditions •has been subjected to
mechanical stress (i.e. during transport).
All relevant statutory safety regulations
must be adhered to when using this
instrument.
- The Tester may no longer be used if one
or several functions fail or if no functional-
ity is indicated or the Tester looks dam-
aged.
- When using this Tester, only the handles
of the probes may be touched - do not
touch the probe tips.
- Do not use the Tester if the Tester is not
operating properly or if it is wet.
- Use the Tester only as specified in the
Instruction card including environmental
conditions and the usage in dry environ-
ments must be followed or the protection
by the Tester might be impaired.
- Use extreme caution when working
around bare conductors or bus bar.
Contact with the conductor could result
in an electric shock.
- Use caution with voltages above 50V
AC rms, or 110V DC. These voltages
pose a shock hazard.

Maintenance
Do not attempt to repair this Tester. It
contains no user-serviceable parts.
Repair or serving should only be per-
formed by qualified personal.
Periodically wipe the case with a dry
cloth and detergent do not use
abrasives or solvents.
