The
camera's
Matrix
Meter
readsthescene's
lightlevelsand
patterns,
thensignals
thecomputer
tocalculate
available
lightexposure
set-
tings.
When
the
shutter
isreleased,the
camera
senses
available
lightand flash
illumination,thenrelaysthis
informationtothecomputer,
whichdetermines
appro-
priate
flashexposure
compensation.
When
it senses
the
rightamount
of
flash
illumination
fora balanced
fill-
flashexposure,
itturnsoff
the
flash.The
result
is
correctly
exposed
background
and foregroundsubjects,

aprecisely
balanced
