(1) In this manual, the application of grease and adhesive is indicated by coloring (grease: yellow/
adhesive: pink) the tool number as follows:
(2) Perform operations in numeric order if encircled numbers are indicated together with parts.
e.g. ①②③ Perform in numeric order from ①to ③.
(3) In this manual, the connecting direction of FPCs is shown as follows:
Before Disassembly / Reassembly / Adjustment
Points to notice for Lead-free solder products
• Lead-free solder is used for this product.
• For soldering work, the special solder and soldering iron are required.
• Do not mix the lead-free solder with the conventional solder.
• Use the special soldering iron respectively for lead-free solder and lead solder.
They can not be used in common.
WARNING
There are high voltage parts inside. Be careful of electric shock,
when you remove the covers.
You must discharge the main condenser according to the instruction
of this repair manual after you remove the covers.

Note : (1) During disassembly/(re)assembly, be sure to use the conductive mat (J5033) and wrist strap
(J5033-9) in order to protect electric parts from static electricity.
(2) Before disassembly, remove the memory card, battery, and AC adapter.
(3) When disassembling parts, make sure to memorize the processing state of wires/FPCs,
attaching state of screws and their types, and so forth.
(4) The imaging area of the image sensor unit is easily damaged, so handle it very carefully.
(5) What are used in this manual may differ from the actual products in form/texture.
