INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
This product may contain substances that can be harmful to the
environment and to the human health, if not disposed of properly.
We therefore provide you the following information in order to
prevent the release of such substances and to improve the use of
natural resources. The electrical and electronic products should
not be disposed of in the normal household waste, but should be
properly collected in order to be correctly treated. The symbol of the crossed
bin shown on the product and in this page reminds the need to properly dispose
of the product at the end of its life. In this way you can avoid that a non-specific
treatment of the substances contained in these products, or an improper use of
parts of them can lead to harmful consequences for the environment and human

INSTALLING AND REPLACING BATTERIES
The product contains a battery that could be replaced during the lifetime of the
product itself. At the end of life of the batteries contained in
the product, they must be disposed of separately. Throw
them in the appropriate containers for the disposal of
batteries.
The collection and recycling of batteries contribute to the
protection of the environment and to the preservation of material resources,
allowing the recovery of valuable materials too.

One year, if invoiced to a company or professional (with VAT
number).
Two years, if fiscally described as sold to a private citizen.
This warranty is referred to in the event a conformity defect
occurs, referred to product features.

EVO 4K SETTINGS
The EVO 4K video camera settings can be changed to meet your requirements.
For a more detailed explanation of the different functions, read the user's manual
that is available on-line.
To open the settings menu, simply touch the display and swipe icon ,
select to set video parameters, to set camera parameters and
to set system parameters. Use the arrows to move within the various
menus. To return to the main menu, press the icon (shrunken) that appears at
the top left.
STARTING STEPS
Before using your EVO 4K:
Make sure that the battery is charged. If the battery level is low,
recharge it with the USB cable.
Format the Micro SD memory card.
Set the date and time.
Now you can proceed with all other parameters settings of your EVO 4K
according to your needs.
USING THE VIDEO CAMERA
Recording a video:
In the preview state press the <REC> key on the front of the camera to
start video recording.
The video recording duration is displayed in the upper right part of the TFT
screen and LCD display.
To stop recording, press <STOP>.

Taking a picture:
In preview mode, press <PHOTO>.
Playing a file:
To view files saved on your EVO 4K press and swipe the required
photo or video.
FILE CANCELLATION AND PROTECTION
You can cancel and protect files in playback mode.
Icons appear at the top right; in this case, swipe to open
the following functions:
1) cancel.
2) protect one or more photo or video files.
You can cancel and/or protect either individual files or all files.
WI-FI INTEGRATION WITH SMARTPHONE
EVO 4K can be connected and controlled by Iphone or Android SmartPhone
devices using the built-in Wi-Fi module, turned on using the switch on the front.
Simply download the NILOX EVO 4K application on your phone to control your
camera remotely.
Your smartphone can be used as a remote control and remote display, to
control video recordings in real-time and view saved videos and photos.
Search for the following network on your device: EVO 4K
The default password is Nilox1234 (no spaces and upper case N in Nilox)

OUTPUT DEVICES
The EVO 4K camera has an audio output, video Hdmi and USB data output.
Video output
The camera can be connected to a video input via the micro HDMI.
Once connected, the video camera can work normally.
The display or the TV, connected to the video camera, works exactly like the
TFT display of the video camera.
USB output
The USB connection lets you:
Charge the EVO 4k video camera
Connect the EVO 4K video camera to a computer to open data in
the memory and MicroSD card in read-only mode.
PRECAUTIONS
Precautions for the camera case:
The waterproof case is a precision component. Please take the following
precautions:
Do not randomly dismount and mount the O-ring of the case,
keys and lens cover without assistance, otherwise the waterproof
performance deteriorates.
Do not put the case in a place where it is exposed to corrosive
acid or alkaline gases and keep it away from chemical or corrosive
substances.
To prevent deformation, do not store the product for long
periods in a place where temperatures are high (over 50°C) or
low (-10°C).
Do not expose to direct sunlight for long periods to prevent
deterioration of waterproofing.
Before every use, ensure that the O-ring is intact, that there are
no foreign bodies on the seal, that the case is properly sealed and
that the seal is watertight.
After use in salt water, immediately rinse the case under running
water. Use a dry cloth to dry the surface and store the device in a
dry and ventilated place.

Precautions for the 3M dual-side foam tape:
When using the 3M dual-side foam tape, adhere to the following precautions:
Before fixing the 3M dual-side foam tape, select a proper surface
to ensure proper contact between the foam tape and the surface.
Before using the 3M dual-side foam tape, clean the surface and
heat the foam tape, using for instance an electric blower,
especially in a place where temperature is lower than -20°C.
Before using EVO 4K video camera, pay attention to the following
notice information:
During continuous use, the body temperature of EVO 4K video
camera increases. The situation is normal. The camera surface
may be hot after prolonged use.
If the video camera is not used for a long time, remove and keep
the battery properly and recharge it every six months to ensure
the battery performance.
During recording, the digital zoom may affect the image quality.
Shooting view angles are slightly different in different working
modes of the video camera.
For smooth playback, we recommend the use of a computer or
other dedicated video player for viewing large video files.
Cyclic recording and frequent recording/deleting operations may
leave data fragments in the SD card, causing failure to file
recording or saving. To solve this problem, just backup the data
on an external storage and format the SD card.

IMPOSTAZIONE PARAMETRI EVO 4K
E’ possibile modificare i parametri della videocamera EVO 4K in funzione delle
proprie esigenze. Per una spiegazione dettagliata delle differenti funzionalità si
rimanda al manuale utente disponibile on-line.
Per accedere al menù di impostazione è sufficiente premere lievemente sul
display touch ed a seguire sfiorare il simbolo , scegliere quindi
per impostare i parametri video, per impostare i parametri fotografici e
per impostare i parametri di sistema. Muoversi all’interno dei vari
menù con le apposite frecce. Per tornare al menù iniziale premere sulla
medesima icona (rimpicciolita) che compare in alto a sinistra.
PER INIZIARE
Prima di iniziare ad utilizzare la vostra EVO 4K:
Assicuratevi che la batteria sia carica. Se il livello è basso, utilizzare
il cavo USB per ricaricare la batteria.
Formattate la scheda di memoria microSD.
Impostate data e ora.
A questo punto potete iniziare ad impostare i parametri della vostra EVO 4K nel
modo a voi più congeniale.
USO DELLA VIDEOCAMERA
Registrare un video:
In stato anteprima, premere il tasto <REC> posto sul fronte della
videocamera per iniziare una registrazione video.
La durata della registrazione viene visualizzata in alto a destra dello schermo TFT
e sul display LCD.

Per terminare la registrazione premere il tasto <STOP>
Scattare foto:
In stato anteprima, premere il tasto <PHOTO>.
Riproduzione di un file:
Per visualizzare i file registrati sulla videocamera EVO 4K premere il tasto
e sfiorate col dito l’immagine o il video desiderato.
CANCELLAZIONE E PROTEZIONE DI UN FILE
In modalità di riproduzione, è possibile cancellare e proteggere un file.
In alto a destra compaiono le icone ; anche in questo
caso lo sfioramento attiva la funzionalità di:
1) cancellazione.
2) protezione di uno o più file di immagini o video.
E’ possibile scegliere di cancellare e/o proteggere sia il singolo file, che tutti i file
presenti.
INTEGRAZIONE WI-FI CON SMARTPHONE
Mediante un modulo Wi-Fi integrato, attivabile dal selettore anteriore, EVO 4K
può essere collegata e controllata da dispositivi telefonici Iphone o Smartphone
Android. E’ sufficiente scaricare sul telefono l’applicazione NILOX EVO 4K per
gestire da remoto la videocamera.
