TUBEPHOTOCAMERA USAGE

TUBECHARGING
The photocameracanbechargedbyconnectingboththe USBcable andaAC/DCadapter(notincluded)to a
PC.
The redLEDwill indicatethatthe photo cameraischargingandwill be off when the battery isfullycharged.
The chargingoperationwill need2hours.
PLUGGINGTHE MEMORYCARD
Plugthe MicroSDcard(not includedin the package)beforethe use.
Makesurethatthe photocameraisoff beforeinsertingthe cardin the slot.
Note:
ThecorrectMicroSDinserting sideisonlyone.
Donotforcewheninserting asthismaydamageboththecamera
and thecard.
PleaseformatthenewMicroSDbeforetheuse.
TUBEHERMETIC CLOSING
TUBEallowsanhermetic closingto waterup to10meters(30 feet).
Itisnecessary to closetightly the camerawiththebackcoverto protectit,when usedin wetconditions.
Rotateclockwisethecoveronthe backsideofthe TUBEto fix it,until the twoblack
pointsarealigned;slidethe lockonthe back
coverto blockit.
Tounlockproceedbackwards.
Note:
Anyfailuretoobservetheseprecautions
maycausetheentranceofwaterinthe
electroniccomponents ofTUBE,withconsequentdamagetothedeviceand
dataloss.
The warrantydoesnotcoverdamagescausedbywaterorbymisuseofthe videocamera.The rubbersealon
the coverworksaswaterproofbarriertoprotectthe photocamerain caseofwetconditionsorduringdiving
andmustbe constantlykeptcleaned.
Aftertheusein saltywaterwashthe productoutsideandthe sealwithfreshwaterandwipe itcarefully.Lack
ofcleaningmay causecorrosionofthe productorthe breakingofthe seal,withfurtherdamageto theTUBE.

HOWTO SWITCH ON/OFF
TUBEswitch-onoperation:
Keep pressedthe key;the photo camerawill vibrateandthe green LEDwill lighton.
Switch-offoperation:
Keep pressedthe key;the photo camerawill vibratefortwosecondsandthe green LEDwill be off.
RECORDINGVIDEOS
Beforestartingrecording,selectthe videoresolution.
TUBEhastwomodesofvideoresolution,youcanchosethemslidingthe switchonthe backofthe video
camera:
•720p (1280x720).
•WVGA(848x480).
When the videorecordingfunctionstartsthe cameravibratesbriefly andthe redLEDison.
Youcanactivatethe videorecordingfunctionin twoways:
Withthe photo camerain ONorOFF position,slidethe switchtowardsthe frontsideofthe camera
to startrecording:the redRED lightwill be visible.
Withthe photo camerain OFF positionandthe switchalready in REC position,keep the key
pressedto turnthephotocameraon;itwill startrecordingin thisway.
Tostoprecordingslidebackthe switchagain.
Abriefvibrationwill indicatethe endofrecording,atthe sametimethe ledwill turntogreen andTUBEwill
enterthe standbymode.
The sameoperationcanbe madeby keepingthe key to stoprecordingandto turnYUBEoff.
The photo camerawill vibratefortwosecondsandthe redLEDwill beoff.
Notes
•Thevideoresolutioncannotbemodifiedduring recording.
•Thephotocamerawill startrecording after2or3secondsasitwillverifyfirstlyasufficient
availabilityofspaceintheMicroSDcard.Ifthememoryisfull thephotocamerawillvibrate
forfivesecondsand thegreenLEDwill flashquickly.
SHOOTINGPHOTOS
•Press the key to switchthe photo cameraon.
•When the photocameraison,press the key totakeaphoto.One briefvibrationandone flashofthe
green LEDwill indicatethatthe operationissuccessfully performed.
Notes:
Ifthememorycardisfull,thephotocamerawillvibrateforfivesecondsand thegreenLEDwill
flashquickly.

180°ROTATION
The photo cameraisequippedwithabuilt-in G-sensorable to detectthe orientationofthecamera.
GivingTUBEa180°rotationthe videoobtainedwill havethe samerotation.Inthismannerthe photo camera
canbe mountedin many ways,andthe imagewill be alwaysperfect.
Notes
•The180°rotationfunctionisavailableforvideomode,notphotomode.
•Adjust thecameraorientationbeforestarting thevideorecording asthisfunctioncannotbe
activatedduring therecording.
•Thefunctioncanbedeactivatedthrough thesoftwareincluded.
PCCONNECTION
The devicecanbe connectedtoaPCasamass storagedeviceandforphoto/videotransferfrom/toaPC.
•Connectyourcameratothe PCthroughthe USBcable included.
•Press the key to turnthe cameraon.
Withthe cameraconnectedtoaPCasamass storagedevice, youcan:
•Open the MicroSDfolderandcheckthe filessavedin the photocamera.
•Formatthe MicroSDcard.
•Deletephotosandvideos.
TUBEAPPLICATION
TUBEisequippedwithasoftwarebuiltin the camitself;itispossible to haveaccess to the applicationin this
way:
•Plugthe formattedMicroSDcardin theTUBE.
•TurnTUBEon.
•ConnectTUBEto PCthroughthe USBcable.
•Waitacouple ofsecondsandcheckifin the computermanagementyoucanfindtheTUBEunit.
The applicationforTUBEmanagementisinsidethe unit.
Now:
•Disconnectthe photo camerafrom the PC.
•Turnthe cameraon.
•Connectthe camerato the PC.
•Enterthe identifieddiskunit.
•Startthe application.

The camerageneralsettingcanbe modifiedthroughthe software:
•TV mode.
•Frequency.
•Auto turn-off.
•Auto rotation.
•Dataandtimesetting.
CONNECTING TUBETOA TV/HDTV
Itispossible toconnectthephotocamerato aTVoraHDTV throughaHDMIcable (notincluded).
Inthisway youcan:
•TakepicturesorvideosusingtheTV asdisplay.
•Play the photo orvideofilessavedin the camera.
•Deleteall thefilessaved.
•Formatthe MicroSDcard.
•Changethe settingparametersofthe photo camera.
PHOTOCAMERAASSEMBLY
The flexible mountingsystemandtheaccessorieskitincludedallowsTUBEtobemountedoneverytype of
helmet(motor,bike,ski,etc)orboard(surf,skate,ski etc).
SAFETY STRAP
•Tie one endofthe safety strapthroughthe holeinthe camera.
•Connectthe otherendtothe supportortoasafepoint.
•When the photocameraisassembled,fix bothends.

CamLocker
•Fix the CamLockerscrewtothe cameratripod.
•Screwthe CamLockeruntil itisfirmlyfixedto thecamera.
