The NineBar Steamer is a commercial
milk steaming wand. It requires a
standard, 110 Volt, grounded, electrical
outlet. The Nine Bar Steamer takes
water from the reservoir and turns it
into pressurized steam.

• This is a power appliance. It must
be plugged in to a standard 110V,
GROUNDED outlet. Never use an
adapter or extension cord.
• Never let the power cord come into
contact with any hot surface such as
the steaming wand. If the power cord
is damaged, do not use the unit.
• Do not operate the unit has a
damaged power cord or if you
suspect that the cord has been
damaged.
• Disconnect from power before
cleaning.
• Turn the unit OFF before
disconnecting from the power outlet.
• Never immerse the unit in water.
• Turn the unit off when not in use.
• Always place unit on a stable,
flat surface.
• Always place Drip Tray under the
Steaming Wand as indicated in these
directions. Never use the unit without
the Drip Tray in place.
• CAUTION! Never place hands
under the steaming wand to avoid
burning or scalding.
• Do not leave unit unattended.
• Clean the Steaming Wand with a damp
towel before first use and
after every use.
• Do not use abrasives of any sort
on the Steaming Wand.
• Use ONLY cold water. Never fill the
reservoir with hot water.
• Use distilled water or filtered water in
the reservoir. Hard water will cause
the unit to build up scaling.
• Do not use sparling water, or club
soda, or any carbonated water.
WARNING!
This appliance generates HOT STEAM. Please familiarize
yourself with all steam vents before use.

GETTING TO KNOW YOUR NINEBAR STEAMER
The NineBar Steamer is a simple way to steam milk or add to your cafe’s milk steaming
capacity. It requires no plumbing and a simple, standard, 110 Volt, grounded, electrical
outlet. The Nine Bar Steamer takes filtered water from the reservoir and turns it into
pressurized steam to steam milk, milk alternatives, and beverages like Matcha and Chai
Lattes. The steaming wand has a temperature sensor that allows you to steam only to a
precise temperature.

1. Reservoir, Water level Float The removable
Reservoir allows you to easily fill the NineBar
Steamer with filtered or bottled water
without shutting the machine off. Just lift
up from the handle, only fill reservoir
with cold filtered or bottled water and
replace snugly.
2. Display Screen: The display displays the
target steaming temperature, the “warming
up” symbols (“----“), and other information
such as error messages.
The NineBar Steamer enables you to pre-
program your desired steaming temperature
or to program two additional different
temperatures for different beverages. (See
our recipes or visit us at NineBarSteamer.
com/recipes.)
3. Control Panel: Clean Button, Steam Button,
Temperature Adjust Buttons, Program
Buttons.
4. Power Switch Turns the entire
unit on or off.
5. Drip Tray, Cover, Drip Tray Float.
6. Steaming wand, Temperature Sensor, Steam
Head.

Before First Use
Register your Nine Bar Steamer!
Register your NineBar steamer in any of the following ways:

Connect to power
Plug your NineBar Steamer into any grounded 110 outlet.
(See warnings above regarding safe use of any power appliance.)
Fill Water Reservoir
Remove Reservoir Lid and remove Reservoir from machine. Fill reservoir with cold
filtered or bottled water. Fill to two inches below the top of the reservoir. Replace
reservoir in steamer and replace cover.
Place Drip Tray
Place tray where indicated, in front of machine, under the steam valve.
CAUTION! The Steam Valve will emit HOT STEAM. Keep hands away!
Turn on and Warm Up
Turn on the Power Switch on the left side of the machine. The switch will glow red. The
Display Screen will flash “- - - -“ for approximately one minute.
When the machine is ready, the target temperature is displayed.
Clean Wand Before Use
Carefully wrap the Steam Wand Outlet to capture steam. Push the Cleaning Button. The
wand will emit steam for approximately five seconds to clean the Steam Head.
CAUTION! The Steam Valve will emit HOT STEAM.

STEAMING MILK (OR MILK ALTERNATIVE)
1. Turn on and clean
Follow instructions on previous page.
2. Fill the Steaming Pitcher
Fill with as much milk (or alternative) as required for your beverage. (See recipes or
visit our website at NineBarSteamer.com/recipes.) Do not fill more than 2/3 full!
3. Replace lled pitcher
Place steaming pitcher being sure the steam head is submerged. Place pitcher
on steaming tray. Push the steam button. The NineBar Steamer will steam your
milk to your preset temperature and shut off automatically when it reaches that
temperature.
You will hear a pump-pump-pump sound as the machine steams. This is the internal
NineBar pump doing its work. You will also hear a high-pitched whistling noise for the
first few seconds, then the “schweeerrrrrrrrrr” sound of yummy steaming milk. When
steaming stops, the steam valve will emit steam. Steaming will take up to 45 seconds.
4. When milk is steamed
CAUTION! The steaming pitcher and the steaming wand will be HOT when the
milk is steamed.
5. Remove Steaming Pitcher
When steaming stops at desired temperature remove the steaming pitcher. Use
a cloth to move the wand up to allow for easier removal of the pitcher. Move the
steaming wand up (it moves just a bit in each direction) and remove steaming pitcher.
That’s it! Now enjoy your drink!
6. Clean the Steaming Wand:
Wrap a damp cloth to protect the steam head and press the “Clean” button.
The wand will emit steam for 5 seconds to clean the steam head.
Wipe the steam head and wand clean.
7. Clean after every use!
*If you wish to remove the steaming pitcher before having reached the desired
temperature, press the “Steam” button again to stop steaming.

PROGRAMMING TARGET TEMPERATURE
Default Temperature:
The NineBar Steamer comes preset to steam milk to 160° F. To change this, use the “Up”
or “Down” arrows on the control Panel. The temperature can be set from 104° to 194°F.
(40° – 90°C).
Program Temperature:
The NineBar Steamer features two additional programmable temperatures. To program a
temperature, press and hold the “Program” button. The display will show the programed
temperature. Push the “Up” or “Down” button until your desired temperature is
reached. The Steamer will beep three times to indicate the temperature is set.
To steam to that temperature, just push the “Program” button and then push the
“Steam” button.
Change from F (Fahrenheit) to C (Celsius) — Press and hold the “Down” button and press
the “Up” button once.
The maximum time of steam release is four minutes. If the liquid does not reach the
target temperature after four minutes, it will automatically stop to release of steam.
