Material damage
Loudspeakers contain magnets which may
damage electronic equipment such as hard
drives, bank cards, and video monitors.
Please store and transport such equipment
separately or within appropriate distance to
the loudspeakers.
Personal injury
Never stand in the immediate vicinity of loud-
speakers driven at a high level. Professional
loudspeaker systems are capable of causing
sound pressure levels detrimental to human
health. Even seemingly non-critical sound
levels (from approx. 95 dB SPL) can cause
hearing damage if people are exposed to it
for longer periods of time.
In order to prevent accidents when deploying
loudspeakers on the ground or when flown,
please take note of the following:
When setting up the loudspeakers or loud-
speaker stands, make sure they are standing
on a firm surface. If you place several
systems on top of one another, use appropri-
ate securing gear to prevent movement.
Only use accessories which have been
tested and approved by NNNN for assembly
and mobile deployment. Pay attention to
the correct application and maximum load
capacity of the accessories as detailed in our
rigging manuals.
Ensure that all third party hardware, fixings
and fasteners used for installation or mobile
deployment are of an appropriate size and
load safety factor. Pay attention to the man-
ufacturers’ instructions and to the relevant
safety guidelines.
Be careful of pinching and other physical
hazards when deploying or transporting
equipment.
Regularly check the loudspeaker cabinets
and accessories for visible signs of wear and
tear, and replace them when necessary.
Regularly check all load bearing bolts in the
mounting devices.

TURAGE 90 V1.0 EN

The TURAGE 90 is an arrayable point-source with a
gradual intensity high frequency horn design. The
high frequency horn is designed with a directivity
pattern that replicates a typical amplitude shaded
pattern from a line array. This directs the highest
sound pressure level towards the back of the audi-
ence, and gradually lower towards the front audience.
Due to the geometry of the horn, the dispersion
pattern of each cabinet is consistent throughout the
range, with a nominal dispersion of 45 x 40 degrees.
Adaptive full range array
The TURAGE 90 houses four 8” drivers and two tweet-
ers. The four 8’’ behave as a pure top at max SPL,
and transition into a full range array with a roll-off at
70Hz at 119dB. This makes it an ideal companion to
the DEVOR subwoofer series for larger venues, and a
stand-alone system for smaller venues.

Patented technology
The patents employed in the TURAGE
90 enable a high degree of direc-
tivity. The horn loading mechanism
enables sensitivity, impulse response
and a distortion level that is without
competition.
Deployment
The TURAGE 90 can be stacked on
subwoofers from the DEVOR series
or flown. Up to 3 can be stacked on
an individual DEVOR 16. Up to 2 can
be stacked on an individual DEVOR
23. Up to 3 can be stacked on a pair
of DEVOR 23s. The flying system is
custom designed for easy mounting
and configuration. Instructions
can be found in the Turage rigging
manual. All NNNN products can
be incorporated as permanent
installations.
Materials
The TURAGE 90 is designed to be
light and easy to handle for one
person. The cabinet is made of
birch plywood that is covered with a
weather, scratch, and impact resist-
ant polyurethane coating. The grilles
and input panel are made of coated
aluminium.
Applications
The TURAGE 90 and DEVOR com-
binations span from a high perfor-
mance Dance Tower with 3 Turage
modules stacked on a DEVOR 16,
simple DJ setups , fixed installations,
and independently in auditoriums or
smaller venues.

In the rear panel there are two Neutrik SpeakON 8
pole connectors. All eight pins of both connectors
are wired in parallel with pins 1+/1- connected to the
high frequency drivers, pins 2+/2- connected to the
mid bass/mid range driver, and pins 3+/3- connected
to the woofers. While using one of the connectors
as input, the second can be used to interconnect
cabinets.

Operation
The TURAGE 90 is a 3-way cabinet that can
be driven by any Powersoft amplifier with a
NNNN preset or amplifiers with at least three
output channels of an appropriate capacity
and the NNNN preset loaded into its DSP/
external DSP, any of these solutions must
be wired into a SpeakON 8 pole connection.
Updated Powersoft amplifiers include presets
for the TURAGE 90 in several different setups,
which can be accessed through the native
menu Speaker preset > NNNN > Turage >
Turage 90. A detailed description of the
operation of Powersoft amplifiers can be
found in the Powersoft Quick Guides.
