Charging the headset
Please fully charge the headset for the first use to prolong the battery life.
To charge the headset, first, plug the included AC charger into a wall and then
into the charging dock. Then simply place the headset on the charging port of the
dock.
It's not necessary to charge the headset using the charging dock. You can
also plug the charging adapter directly into the headset.
The LED indicator will light up red to show the charging process. When the
charging is complete, the LED will turn off. When the red LED is flashing, that means
the headset is low on power and needs to be recharged.
Pairing the headset
First, make sure the headset is turned off. Then press and hold the
Multifunction button until the LED begins to blink red and blue. Turn on the Bluetooth
on your device and search for devices. Select the N780 from the list of found devices
and confirm the Bluetooth connection.
If you need to enter the passcode, enter 0000.
To use the Multipoint capability and pair the second device, you have to turn
the headset off. Also, turn the Bluetooth off on the first device. After that, pair the
second device similar to the first.
To switch between the paired devices, you have to turn the Bluetooth on the
paired device off and restart the headset. It will automatically pair with the other
device.
Hands-free calls
- To answer a call press the Multifunction button once during an incoming call
- To reject a call press and hold the Multifunction button for 2 or 3 seconds
during an incoming call
- To hang up a call press the Multifunction button once during a call
- To activate voice command press and hold the Multifunction button for 2
seconds
- To redial last number press the Multifunction button twice
- To increase or decrease volume press the Volume + or Volume - buttons
