Mobiles not connecting to Mobile Network
This is a guide for people having trouble with their network connection; it helps with
refreshing your connection to the network which can help with calls, texts and data.
The first thing you should do I ask the user to call the following number:
*#105#
If the first and second lines say ERROR then a manual roam is required; if not, the phone
should be working. Administrator should call Vodafone if necessary.
Nokia 109
1. From the Front Screen tap the Right Arrow button.
2. Scroll down and tap on the Settings menu item.
3. Scroll down and tap on Mobile network.
4. Tap on Network selection.
5. Tap on Press to select.
6. Once the device has finished the search tap on Press to select again.
7. Tap on the Network you want to use.

BlackBerry
1. Click manage connection
2. Open mobile network option
3. Select network selection and then change it from automatic mode to manual

4. Choose any other network other than Vodafone i.e. Orange or T-Mobile
5. Leave the phone for 2/3 minutes
6. Re-select the automatic mode and it will automatically return to O2
7. Now reboot your phone

iPhone
1. Go to Settings and select Carriers
2. Switch off automatic and manually change the carrier to something other than Vodafone
i.e. Orange or T-Mobile
3. Come out of settings and wait until it fails to connect to the other carrier
4. Once it fails repeat the process and this time choose Vodafone

Android
1. Go to settings and select Wireless & Networks. If you see the screen below (right) click
'more settings'
2. Go to Mobile Network and select Network Operators
You may at this point see this message “Unable to search networks while you're data service
is active. Do you want to disconnect the data service and search the available networks?”
Click OK

3. Search networks
4. A list of networks will soon display as you can see above
5. Select another network other than Vodafone i.e. Orange or T-Mobile
6. Wait until it fails to connect
7. Repeat the process and this time choose Vodafone

Windows
1. Go to settings and select Mobile Network
2. In the 'data roaming options' box click it and select roam
4. In the box under data roaming there is another box 'network selection' click it and click
'press to select' and a list of networks will appear

5. Select another network other than Vodafone i.e. Orange or T-Mobile
6. Once it fails to connect to the other network just repeat the process and this time choose
Vodafone
