IT IS CRITICALLY IMPORTANT TO READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS
ENTIRE MANUAL BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL AND/OR
COMISSION THE NORDICCO NORTHERN LIGHT HVLS FANS.
FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN DAMAGE OR INJURY.
IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OWNER AND THE
OPERATOR OF THE INSTALLED NORDICCO NORTHERN
LIGHTTM FANS, TO ENSURE THAT IRRADIATION LEVELS ARE
BEING RE-ASSESSED WHENEVER CHANGES ARE BEING MADE
TO THE CEILING, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO UPGRADE
OR INSTALLATION OF NEW CEILING ATTACHED LIGHTS, AND/
OR WHEN THE NORTHERN LIGHT FANS ARE BEING
RELOCATED.
USE OF THE UV SYSTEM CAN OVER TIME RESULT IN DISCO-
LORATION OF IRRADIATED SURFACES, IN THE SAME WAY AS
ORDINARY SUNLIGHT CAN DISCOLOR.

Nordicco Tablet App
Displays the speed of the fan. Press ”+” to increase, or ”-” to decrease the speed.
Press to turn the fan ON/OFF/Pause it. For pause function see point 1.8.
The direction of the fan. Press UP to push the air up to the ceiling and down along the
walls. Press DOWN to push the air down and create a cooling breeze.
Name of the fan. It can be changed under ”FANS” in the tablet menu.
Press ”<--” to go to ”Fan overview” (Only available if more than one fan is installed).
ON/OFF function for the UVC-light. See point 1.7 for settings.

When the light switch (point 1.6) is activated, the user must specify the duration of the
light for a specied period.
The timer should never be set so that the daily recommended duration is exceeded,
without having full insight into the risk and having taken the necessary safety precau-
tions. The light cannot be activated without the fan rotating.

If a fan is switched off during an active calendar function (point 1.2), the user will have
the option to pause the system for a specied period. After the break, the fan will
continue in the calendar function.

Press to access the concerned fan.
When a fan icon is gray, it means the fan is out of range.
Press and hold the ”NORDICCO®” logo for two seconds to access the tablet menu.

Under ”FANS” you can congure your fan(s) and the admin/user acess rights.
Under ”SCHEDULE” you can set and create xed schedules that your fan(s) will opera-
te according to.
Under ”PASSWORD” you can see and set your admin password of your Nordicco Tab-
let App.
Under ”LANGUAGE” you can change the language of your Nordicco Tablet App.
Under ”ADD FAN” you can connect any additional installed fan to the tablet.
Version number for your Nordicco Tablet App.
Press ”<--” to return to the ”Fan overview” (Only accessible if more than one fan is
installed).

Press and hold the ”NORDICCO®” logo for two seconds.
Type ”admin” as password.
You can always change this in the menu under ”PASSWORD”.

Press the fan you want to congure.
If no devices are displayed, make sure ”STOP SCANNING” appears in the upper right
corner.
In case no device appears, go to the ”Menu” screen, press ”Version Number” (The
number in the bottom left corner), after which you will enter the ”System Settings” of
the tablet itself.
Go to ”Connected devices” > ”Connection preferences” >”Bluetooth” and turn Blue-
tooth off and on again.
If the fan still does not appear, please contact our support on [phone].

Press to name your fan. The given name will now appear on the list of fans, and will
be used when setting up schedules.
Specify the diameter of your HVLS fan.
Set maximum speed out of 100% at which the fan is permitted to go.
Specify if it is a Northern AirTM or Northern LightTM HVLS fan.
Press ”Recommended Light Duration” and specify the duration of the light recom-
mended by the installer.
Press ”Create” to nalize setup.

Press ”Enabled” to select whether the schedule should be active.
Press ”Days” to select which days the schedule should be active.
Press ”Fan” to select which fan(s) should follow the schedule.
Press ”Name” to give your schedule a name.
Press ”Start Time” to choose when your schedule should start.
Press ”End Time” to choose when your schedule should stop.

NOTE: Before you can set up a schedule, you must have a fan connected.

Press ”Speed” to set the operating speed of the fan during the schedule.
Press ”Direction” to select the fan direction for the schedule.
Press ”UVC Light” to activate the UVC-light in the specic schedule.
Press ”Light duration” to set the amount of hours the UVC-light should be
on. The UVC-light will start at the beginning of a schedule.
Scroll down to bottom and press ”Create” to nalize your schedule.
Press ”You have unsynced fans”.

An overview of the fans that have not had their schedules synchronized.
Tap ”Sync” to synchronize that fan with the schedule created.
Wait for the schedule to be uploaded to the system.
