AVVERTENZE IMPORTANTI: L’uso di qualsiasi apparecchio elettrico comporta l’osservanza di
alcune regole fondamentali:
• Leggere attentamente tutte le istruzioni prima di utilizzare l’apparecchio;
• Qualora la scocca del dispositivo o il cavo di alimentazione fossero danneggiati non utilizzare
l’apparecchio;
• Non lasciare mai l’apparecchio e tutte le sue parti, inclusi gli imballi, in zone raggiungibili da bambini,
incapaci, animali domestici o insetti.
• Utilizzare l’apparecchio soltanto per l’uso previsto “Umidicatore per ambienti” e come descritto dal
presente manuale;
• L’apparecchio ha una protezione comune all’ingresso di liquidi;
• L’apparecchio non è adatto per l’uso in presenza di una miscela anestetica inammabile con aria,
ossigeno o protossido d’azoto;
• Non maneggiare l’apparecchio con le mani bagnate o umide o mentre si sta facendo il bagno;
• Non bagnare la parte superiore del generatore di vapore (A g. 1) in quanto contiene parti elettriche.
Nel caso in cui si bagnasse accidentalmente, rivolgersi a personale tecnico qualicato per la verica
dell’apparecchio.
• Se necessario, utilizzare adattatori o prolunghe conformi alle vigenti norme di sicurezza, facendo
attenzione a non superare il limite di portata in valore di corrente, e quello di massima potenza
marcato sull’adattatore;
• Utilizzare il generatore di vapore (A g. 1) solo con il contenitore (B g. 1) in dotazione;
• Tenere l’apparecchio ed il cavo di alimentazione lontano da fonti di calore;
• Non posizionare l’apparecchio su di una supercie morbida (come un letto o un divano);
• Durante l’uso le superci dell’apparecchio tendono a scaldarsi. Non posizionare quindi l’apparecchio
su superci sensibili al calore (come vetro, materiali trattati, ecc.);
• Il vapore per sua natura ha temperature elevate. Per evitare quindi il rischio di scottature non dirigere
il getto di vapore verso persone, animali, oggetti, cose e pareti;
• Non permettere che l’apparecchio sia utilizzato da bambini o da incapaci;
• Non capovolgere, muovere o movimentare l’apparecchio durante il funzionamento.
• L’eventuale fuoriuscita di acqua bollente può comportare scottature e shock elettrici;
• Non usare sostanze balsamiche o sostanze anticalcare, la cui “atossicità” non sia stata provata;
• Non bloccare od ostruire le aperture del generatore di vapore; non inserire alcun oggetto nelle

• Spegnere l’apparecchio e staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente prima di procedere ad estrarre il
generatore di vapore;
• Non tirare il cavo di alimentazione o l’apparecchio stesso per staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente;
• Staccare sempre la spina dopo l’uso;
• Prima di ogni operazione di movimentazione, di pulizia o riempimento, attendere che l’apparecchio
si sia raffreddato sufcientemente;
• Non lasciare l’apparecchio esposto ad agenti atmosferici.
• Non alimentare l’apparecchio con alimentazione in corrente continua;
• Durante il funzionamento collocare l’apparecchio in posizione stabile in modo da evitare urti o
cadute accidentali dell’apparecchio che potrebbero causare il rovesciamento dell’acqua bollente o
malfunzionamenti.
• Per spostare l’apparecchio afferrare il contenitore saldamente nella parte inferiore.
• L’umidicatore non è un dispositivo medico.
• L’umidità diffusa dall’umidicatore può essere controindicata per alcune patologie. Consultare il
medico.
• Un alto livello di umidità può favorire lo sviluppo di acari della polvere, muffe e funghi.
RESPONSABILITÀ
Si considerano responsabili in materia di sicurezza, prestazioni e afdabilità il fabbricante, il suo
rappresentante o l’importatore solamente se:
- la tecnica di montaggio, la taratura, le riparazioni o modiche siano state effettuate da persone da
loro autorizzate; l’impianto elettrico sia conforme alle norme vigenti; le istruzioni di impiego siano state
rispettate. Il produttore non si assume responsabilità per danni derivanti da usi impropri, erronei ed
irragionevoli.
FUSIBILE DI SICUREZZA
All’interno dell’apparecchio è alloggiato un fusibile di sicurezza sostituibile in caso di guasto. L’operazione
di sostituzione,come tutte le altre eventuali riparazioni, deve essere eseguita dalla ditta costruttrice oppure
da personale autorizzato dalla stessa.
ISTRUZIONI D’USO (Leggere i dati elettrici di alimentazione posti sotto l’apparecchio)
1. Mantenendo l’apparecchio scollegato dalla presa di corrente, girare il generatore di vapore in senso
antiorario portando la freccia in corrispondenza con il simbolo “O” dopo di che estrarlo dal contenitore
(gura 1).
2. Controllare che il contenitore d’acqua sia ben pulito. Versare acqua fredda no all’apparire
dell’ingrossamento sull’astina che segna il livello (gura 2). Usare solo acqua di rubinetto e in nessun
caso introdurre altri liquidi o sostanze. Qualsiasi sostanza estranea potrebbe essere vaporizzata
assieme all’acqua e respirata, risultando irritante o tossica. Non utilizzare acqua demineralizzata in
quanto compromette la funzionalità dell’umidicatore. Non utilizzare acqua salata o proveniente da
depuratori che usano sale.
3. Appoggiare l’apparecchio su di un piano stabile e fuori dalla portata dei bambini ed inserire il
generatore di vapore con la freccia in corrispondenza del simbolo “O”. Inserire la spina nella presa
di corrente e ruotare il generatore di vapore in senso orario portando la freccia in corrispondenza del
simbolo “I” (g. 3). In tal modo l’interruttore si azionerà automaticamente. Considerare che saranno
necessari alcuni minuti prima che abbia inizio la produzione di vapore. Non spostare o muovere
l’apparecchio durante il funzionamento.
4. Per vaporizzare e disperdere essenze balsamiche nell’ambiente, versarne qualche goccia
nell’apposita vaschetta posta sotto il foro di erogazione del vapore (gura 3). Non versare le
essenze balsamiche nel serbatoio dell’acqua in quanto l’apparecchio potrebbe essere danneggiato
irreparabilmente.
5. Esaurita l’acqua nel contenitore la produzione di vapore cesserà automaticamente. Appena possibile
scollegare la spina dalla presa di corrente.
6. Prima di aggiungere acqua nel contenitore (B g.1) o prima di riporre l’apparecchio si raccomanda
di spegnerlo, di staccare la spina dalla presa e di attenderne il completo raffreddamento; quindi
svuotare il serbatoio dall’acqua residua e risciacquarlo accuratamente. Il formarsi nel contenitore di
residui scuri e/o bianchi di calcare durante l’uso è normale.
MANUTENZIONE ORDINARIA
Tutte le operazioni di manutenzione devono essere effettuate con la spina dell’apparecchio staccata
dalla presa di corrente. Il calcare presente nell’acqua depositandosi sugli elettrodi dell’apparecchio può
causare una riduzione della vaporizzazione.
Pulire periodicamente gli elettrodi del generatore di vapore (A g. 4) inserendolo in una vaschetta con
una soluzione di acqua ed anticalcare atossico o aceto; lasciare agire per qualche ora. Non immergere il
generatore di vapore, nella soluzione oltre il livello indicato nella gura 4 (Livello Max 8 cm). Non bagnare
la parte superiore del generatore di vapore. Non utilizzare il contenitore (B g. 1) per tale operazione.
Prima di utilizzare di nuovo il vaporizzatore, ripetere l’operazione sopra descritta alcune volte usando solo
acqua per eliminare I residui della soluzione anticalcare.Per la pulizia del contenitore (B g. 1) usare solo
acqua o acqua e aceto risciaquando poi con abbondante acqua corrente.
ATTENZIONE: per qualsiasi riparazione o manutenzione straordinaria, è necessario rivolgersi a personale
qualicato/autorizzato. Restituire l’apparecchio al rivenditore in buone condizioni di pulizia.
SMALTIMENTO DEL DISPOSITIVO
Smaltire l’apparecchio e gli accessori in conformità con le norme vigenti. In caso di dubbio contattare
le autorità locali per chiarimenti. Non disperdere nell’ambiente!
CONDIZIONI DI GARANZIA
Questo apparecchio è garantito per 2 anni dalla data di acquisto, salvo diversa indicazione. La data di
vendita deve essere comprovata dallo scontrino scale che deve essere conservato dall’acquirente.
La garanzia copre l’apparecchio da eventuali difetti di fabbricazione, a condizione che lo stesso non abbia
subito manomissioni da parte dell’utente o da personale estraneo al servizio autorizzato.
La garanzia non comprende:
-avarie o difetti causati da cattivo uso, errori di installazione o errata/mancata manutenzione.
-gli interventi per difetti presunti, veriche di comodo, manutenzione ordinaria e i componenti soggetti a
naturale usura;
-i danni accidentali come urti, cadute, ecc.
La garanzia è valida solo se l’apparecchio viene reso al rivenditore unitamente allo scontrino scale.
EN ROOM HUMIDIFIER WITH ELECTRODES FOR HOME
IMPORTANT WARNINGS: Using any electrical appliance means observing several fundamental
rules:
• Read all the instructions carefully before using the appliance;
• If the appliance casing or the power supply cable are damaged, do not use the appliance;
• Never leave the appliance and all its parts, including packaging, within the reach of children,
uncapable people, domestic animals or insects.
• Only use the appliance for its intended use - “Room humidier” - and as described in this manual;
• The appliance has standard protection against the entry of liquids;
• The appliance is not suitable for use in the presence of an inammable anaesthetic mixture with air,
oxygen or nitrous oxide;
• Do not use the appliance with wet or damp hands, or when taking a bath;
• Do not wet the upper part of the vapour generator (A g. 1) because it contains electrical parts. If it
gets wet accidentally, contact qualied technical personnel to check the appliance;
• If necessary, use adapters or extension leads that comply to the safety standards in force, paying
attention not to exceed the rated current or maximum values shown on the adapter;
• Only use the vapour generator (A g.1) with the container (B g.1) supplied;
• Keep the appliance and the power supply cable far away from sources of heat;
• Do not position the appliance on a soft surface (like a bed or a sofa);
• When the appliance is working its surface warm up. Do not locate it on places sensitive to heat (like
glass, treaty materials etc.);
• Steam is naturally very hot and therefore to avoid the risk of scalds, avoid directing the steam jet
towards people, animals, objects, articles and walls;
• Do not let children or disabled persons use the appliance;
• Do not overturn, move or handle the appliance when operating.
• Any spillage of boiling water could cause scalds and electric shocks;
• Only use balsamic essences or anti-lime-scale substances certied, to be “non-toxic”;
• Do not block the openings in the vapour generator; do not insert any objects into the openings;
• Switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the power socket, before extracting the vapour
generator;
• Do not pull the power supply cable or the appliance to remove the plug from the power socket;
• Always remove the plug after use;
• Before handling, cleaning or lling, wait until the appliance has cooled down sufciently;
• Do not leave the appliance exposed to the weather;
• Do not supply the appliance with direct current;
• During operation place the appliance in a stable position so as to avoid impacts or accidental falls of
the same, possibly causing the spillage of boiling water or malfunctioning.
• To move the device, hold the container rmly on the bottom side
• The humidier is not a medical device.
• The humidity produced by the humidier may be contraindicated for some pathologies. Consult a
doctor.
• A high humidity level can support the development of dust mites, mold and fungi.
RESPONSIBILITY
The manufacturer, his representative, or the importer shall only be considered responsible in terms of
safety, performance and reliability if:
- the assembly technique, calibration, repairs or amendments have been performed by persons authorised
by them; - the electrical system complies with the standards in force; - the operating instructions have
been respected;
The manufacturer declines all responsibility for damage deriving from improper, erroneous and
unreasonable use.
SAFETY FUSE
A safety fuse is housed in the appliance which can be replaced if it blows. As for all other possible repairs,
the replacement operation must be performed by the producer company or by personnel authorised by
the same.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE (Please read the power supply data
shown on the label on the bottom of the appliance)
1. Keeping the appliance disconnected from the power socket, turn the steam generator anticlockwise
to make the arrow line up with the “0” symbol. Next, pull it out of the container (gure 1).
2. Check that the water container is clean. Pour cold water into the container until the swelling on the
level indication rod appears (gure 2). Use only tap water and under no circumstances introduce
other liquids or substances. Any foreign substance could be nebulized with water and breathed and
could be irritating or toxic. Do not use demineralized water because it damages the humidier’s
performance. Do not use salted water o water belonging to puriers using salt.
3. Rest the appliance on a stable surface out of the reach of children and insert the vapour generator
with the arrow lined up with the “0” symbol. Insert the plug into the power supply socket and turn the
vapour generator clockwise to make the arrow line up with the “I” symbol (gure 3). In this way, the
switch works automatically. Bear in mind that a few minutes are necessary before vapour production
starts. Do not shift or move the appliance during operation.
4. To vaporise and disperse balsamic essences in the room, pour a few drops of the same into the
small vessel located under the vapour delivery hole (gure 3). Do not pour balsamic essences into
the water container as the appliance could be irreversibly damaged.
5. When the water in the container runs out, vapour production ceases automatically. Remove the plug
from the power supply socket as soon as possible.
6. Before adding water into the container (B g. 1) or before putting it away, we recommend switching
it off, removing the plug from the socket and waiting until it has completety cooled down; next,
empty any residual water from the container and rinse it carefully. The formation of dark and/or white
limestone residues in the container during use is normal.
ORDINARY MAINTENANCE
All maintenance operations must be performed with the appliance plug removed from the power supply
socket.
Calcium present in the water deposited as lime-scale on the appliance electrodes can cause a reduction
in the vapour produced. Periodically clean the vapour generator (A g. 4) electrodes by inserting it into a
vessel with a solution of water and non-toxic anti-lime-scale or vinegar and let this work for a few hours.
Do not submerge the vapour generator in the solution beyond the level indicated in gure 4 (Max. level
8 cm.). Do not wet the upper side of the vapour generator. Do not use the container (B g. 1) for this
operation. Before using the vapour generator again, repeat the above described operation a few times
only with water to eliminate the residues of the anti-lime-scale solution.
To clean the container (B g.1) only use water or a water and vinegar solution and then rinse it with plenty
tap water.
WARNING: for any repair or extraordinary maintenance, it is necessary to contact qualied/authorised
personnel. Return the appliance to the stockist in a well-cleaned condition.
DISPOSING OF THE APPLIANCE
Dispose of the appliance and its accessories in compliance with the regulation in force. Do not
dispose of this appliance in the environment. In case of doubt please call your local authorities.
GUARANTEE CONDITIONS
This device is provided of 2 years warranty from the purchasing date, except for any different indications.
The date of sale must be demonstrated by the sales receipt which the purchaser should conserve.
The guarantee covers the appliance for any fabrication defects, on condition that the same has not been
tampered with by the user or by persons foreign to the authorised service.
The guarantee does not include:
-faults or defects caused by improper use or installation errors, or missing/wrong maintenance;
-interventions for presumed defects, checks, ordinary maintenance and components subject to natural
wear;
-accidental damage such as shocks, falls, etc.
The guarantee is only valid if the device is returned to the stockist, together with its receipt.
