Whentransportingand installingthe unitcaremustbetakento ensure thatnoneof
therefrigerationcircuitcomponentsbecomedamaged.Intheeventofdamageavoid
nakedflamesorignitionsourcesand ventilatetheroomin whichthe unitisplaced
forafewminutes.

Installation andSwitching OnTheAppliance
•This applianceisconnectingto 220-240Vand50Hz.
•Youcanofferhelpfromtheservicetoinstall andswitchingon theappliance.
•Beforemakingtheconnectiontothepowersupply,ensurethatthe voltageonthe
nameplatecorrespondstothe voltageofelectricalsysteminyourhome.
•Ifthesocketdoesnotmatchtherefrigeratorplug,replacetheplugwitha suitable one
(atleast 16A)
•Inserttheplugintoasocket withanefficientgroundconnection.
Ifthesockethasno ground contact, wesuggestyoucall an
electricianforassistance.
•Manufactureris not responsible for failureto completethe
ground connectionasdescribedinthisbooklet.
•Donotplacetheapplianceindirectsunlight.
•Donotuseinopenairandshall notbeexposedto therain.
•Placetherefrigeratorfar fromheatsourcesand in awell-
ventilatedposition.The refrigeratorshould be atleast50cm
fromradiators,gasorcoalstovesand5cmfarfromelectrical
stoves.
•Keep thetopfreefor at least15cm.
•Donotplaceheavyand lotsofthingsontheappliance.

dissolvedinlukewarmwater. Afterdryingreplacealltheaccessories.
BeforeSwitchingOn
•Waitafter3hoursbeforepluggingtheapplianceintothe main
powertoensureproperperformance.
•Therecan be an odour when youfirstswitch ontheappliance.It
willdisappearaftertheappliancestartstocool.
•Donottouchthe coolingsurfaces,especially withwet handsas
youcould beburnt or hurt.
•Donot eatice,whichhave justbeenremovedfromthefreezer.
•Thisapplication is optional for easyopening door.
Withthisapplication, alittlecondensation mayoccur
around this area andyoumaytake it out.

PART- 2. THEVARIOUSFUNCTION AND POSSIBILITIES
ThermostatSetting
•Thermostatautomaticallyregulatestheinside temperatureofthe refrigerator
compartmentand freezercompartment.Byrotatingtheknob fromposition 1to 5,
coldertemperaturescan beobtained.«0»positionshowsthermostatisclosedand
nocoolingwillbe available.
•Forshort-termstorageoffoodinthefreezercompartment,youcansetthe knob
between1and 3position.
•Forlong-termstorage offood inthe freezercompartment, youcan set knop4-5
position.
Notethat;the ambient temperature,temperatureofthefreshly storedfoodand how often
the dooris opened, affectsthe temperaturein the refrigeratorcompartment.If
required,changethetemperaturesetting.
•When youfirstswitchon theappliance, forstarting asuitable cooling, theappliance
shouldwork24 hourscontinuouslyuntilitcoolsdowntosufficienttemperature.
•Inthis timedo notopen thedoorsooftenandplacealotoffoodinsidetheappliance.
•Iftheunitis switchedofforunplugged,youmustallowatleast5minutesbefore
restartingorre-plugged theunitinordernotto damagethecompressor.

Accessories
“DoorOpen”Indicator
•The«DoorOpen »indicatoronthehandle showswhetherthe door
hasclosedproperlyorwhetheritisstillopen.
•Ifthe indicatorisred,thedoor isstillopen.
•Iftheindicator is white, thedoorisproperlyclosed.
•Observethatthefreezer’sdoorshouldalwaysbekeptclosed. This
willpreventfoodproductsfromdefrosting, itwill avoidheavyiceand
frostbuild-upinsidethefreezerandanunnecessaryincreasein
energyconsumption.
Icetray
•Fill theicetraywithwaterand placeinfreezer compartment.
•Afterthe watercompletely turnedintoice,youcantwistthetrayasshownbelowto
gettheicecube.
Superswitch
•Normallysetthisswitchto ‘ ’position.Exceptwhenthe
ambienttemperatureislowlikeinwinter.(ie.below16°C)or
whenthefreezertemperatureneedstobemaintainedlower.
Inthatcase, turn theswitchto ‘ ’ positionON.
•TosetsuperswitchONthatisonthethermostat box,pressthe
switchdownto ’position.Theswitchwill lit.
•When thefreezercompartmentiscooleddowntosufficient
temperature,ortheweathergetshot,turnthesuperswitchoff
tosaveelectricalconsumption.

Ifturbofanisavailableonyourproduct
•Donotblockairinletandoutlet openingswhen storingfood, otherwiseaircirculation
thatprovidedbyturbofan will be impaired.
Turbofan
PART- 3.
RefrigeratorCompartment
•Toreducehumidityandconsequentincreaseof frost neverplaceliquidsinunsealed
containersintherefrigerator.Frosttendsto concentratein thecoldestpartsofthe
evaporatorandintimewillrequiremorefrequentdefrosting.
•Neverplacewarmfoodin therefrigerator.Warmfoodshouldbeallowedtocoolat
roomtemperatureandshouldbearrangedtoensureadequateaircirculationinthe
refrigerator compartment.
•Nothingshould touchonthebackwallasitwillcausefrostandthepackagescan
stickonthebackwall.Do notopentherefrigeratordoortoofrequently.
•Arrangethemeatandcleanedfish(wrapped inpackagesorsheetsof plastic)which
you willusein1-2days,inthe bottomsection ofthe refrigeratorcompartment(that is
abovethe crisper) asthisis the coldestsectionand will ensurethe beststoring
conditions.
•Youcanputthefruitsandvegetablesinto crisperwithoutpacking.
FreezerCompartment
•Theuseoffreezeris,storingofdeep-frozenorfrozenfoodsforlongperiodsof time
andmakingicecubes.
•Tofreezefreshfood,ensurethatasmuchofthesurfaceaspossibleoffoodtobe
frozen isincontactwiththecoolingsurface.
•Donot putfreshfood with frozen on side bysideasit canthawthefrozenfood.
•Whilefreezing freshfoods(i.emeat,fishandmincemeat), dividethemin partsyou
willusein onetime.
•Oncetheunithasbeendefrostedreplacethe foodsintofreezerandrememberto
consumetheminasshortperiodoftime.
•Neverplacewarmfoodin thefreezercompartment.Asitwilldisturbthefrozenfoods.
•Forstoringthefrozenfoods;theinstructionsshownonfrozenfoodpackagesshould
alwaysbefollowedcarefully andifnoinformationisprovidedfoodshouldnotbe
stored formorethan3monthsfromthepurchaseddate.

• Disconnectunitfromthepowersupplybeforecleaning.
•Donotcleantheappliancebypouringwater.
•The refrigeratorcompartment should be cleaned
periodicallyusingasolutionofbicarbonateofsodaand
lukewarmwater.
•Cleantheaccessories separately withsoapandwaterDo
notcleantheminthewashingmachine.
•Donotuseabrasiveproducts,detergentsorsoaps.After
washing, rinsewithcleanwateranddrycarefully.Whenthe
cleaningoperationshavebeencompletedreconnectthe
plugofthe unit withdryhands.
•Youshouldcleanthecondenserwithbroomatleasttwice
ayearinordertoprovideenergysavingandincrease
theproductivity.
•When buyingfrozenfoodsensurethatthesehavebeenfrozen atsuitable
temperaturesand that thepackingisintact.
•Frozenfoodsshould betransported in appropriate containerstomaintainthe quality
of the food andshouldbereturned tothefreezingsurfacesof theunitintheshortest
possibletime.
•Ifapackageoffrozenfoodshowsthesign ofhumidityandabnormal swellingitis
probablethatithasbeenpreviously storedatan unsuitabletemperatureandthat
thecontentshavedeteriorated.
•The storage lifeof frozen foodsdependsonthe roomtemperature, thermostatsetting,
howoftenthedooris opened,thetypeof food andthelength oftimerequiredto
transport theproductfromtheshopto yourhome.Alwaysfollowthe instructions
printedonthepackageandneverexceedthe maximumstoragelifeindicated.

Defrosting
RefrigeratorCompartment
• Defrostingoccursautomatically in refrigeratorcompartment duringoperation ;the
defrostwater is collected bytheevaporatingtrayand evaporates automatically.
•The evaporatingtrayand the defrost waterdrain hole shouldbe cleanedperiodically
with defrostdrain plug to preventthe waterfromcollectingon the bottomof the
refrigeratorinsteadofflowing out.
•Youcanalsopourglassofthewatertodrainholetocleaninside.
FreezerCompartment
Thefrost,accumulatedinthe freezercompartment,shouldberemovedperiodically.(Use
theplastic scraperprovided)The freezercompartment shouldbecleanedinthewayas
the refrigeratorcompartment, with the defrostoperationsof the compartment at least
twiceayear.
Forthis;
•Thedaybefore youdefrost,set thethermostat dial to5.position tofreeze thefoods
completely.
•Duringdefrosting,frozenfoodsshouldbewrappedin several layersof paperand
keptinacoolplace. Theinevitable rise intemperature willshorten theirstoragelife.
Rememberto usethesefoodswithinarelativelyshortperiodoftime.
•Setthermostat knobtoposition «0 »orunplugthe unit;leavethedooropenuntil
completely defrosted.
•Toacceleratethe defrosting process oneormorebasinsof warmwatercanbe
placed inthefreezercompartment.
•Drytheinside oftheunitcarefully and setthe thermostatknobtoMAX position.

INSTALLATIONPOSITION
Transportation andChanging ofInstallation Position
• Theoriginalpackagesandfoamedpolystyrene (PS) canbeconcealedifrequired.
•Intransportationtheapplianceshouldbetiedwithawidestripeor astrong rope.The
ruleswrittenon thecorrugated boxmustbeapplied whiletransporting.
•Beforetransportingorchanging oldinstallationposition,allthemoving objects
(ie,shelves,crisper…)should betaken outorfixedwithbandsin ordertopreventthe
shake.
Replacing TheLightBulb
Whenreplacingthelight oftherefrigeratorcompartment;
1.Unplugtheunitfromthepowersupply,
2.Pressthehookson thesidesof thelight covertop,and
removethelightcover.
3.Changethepresent lightbulbwithanewoneofnot more
than15W.
4.Replacethelightcoverandafterwaiting 5minutesplug
theunit.
Repositioning theDoor
•Itisnot possibleto changetheopeningdirectionof yourfridge door,ifthe door
handlesonyourfridgeareinstalledfromthefrontsurfaceof thedoor.
•It is possibletochange theopening direction of thedooron modelswithoutany
handles.
•Ifthedooropeningdirectionofyourfridgemaybe changed,youshouldcontactthe
nearestAuthorized Servicetohavethe openingdirectionchanged.

Ifyourrefrigeratorisnotworkingproperly,itmaybeaminorproblem, thereforecheckthe
following,beforecallinganelectriciantosavetimeandmoney.

Check that ;
•Thereisnopower,
•Thegeneralswitchinyourhomeis disconnected,
•Thethermostatsettingison«0»position,
•Thesocketisnotsufficient. Tocheckthis,plug inanotherappliancethatyou know
whichisworking intothesamesocket.
Whattodoifyourrefrigeratorperformspoorly;
Check that ;
•Youhave notoverloaded theappliance,
•Thedoorsareclosedperfectly,
•Thereisnodustonthecondenser,
•Thereisenoughplaceat therearandsidewalls.
Ifthereisnoise;
The coolinggaswhichcirculatesintherefrigeratorcircuitmaymakeaslight
noise(bubblingsound)evenwhen the compressoris not running.Donotworrythisis
quitenormal.If thesesoundsaredifferentcheckthat;
•The applianceis well levelled.
•Nothing is touching the rear.
•The stuffson the appliancearevibrating.
Ifthereis waterinthe lowerpartoftherefrigerator;
Check that ;
Thedrainholefordefrostwaterisnotclogged(Usedefrostdrainplugtoclean thedrain
hole)
If yourfridge isnotcooling enough;
Yourfridge is designedtooperate intheambienttemperatureintervalsstatedin the
standards,accordingtotheclimate classstatedintheinformation label.Wedonot
recommend operatingyourfridgeout ofstatedtemperaturesvaluelimitsintermsof cooling
effectiveness.

Recommendations
•Inordertoincreasespaceandimprovethe appearance,the « coolingsection »of
thisappliance is positionedinside thebackwall of therefrigeratorcompartment.
Whentheapplianceisrunning,thiswalliscoveredwithfrostorwaterdrops,according
toweatherthecompressorisrunning ornot. Donot worry. Thisisquitenormal.The
applianceshould bedefrostedonlyifanexcessively thick layerformson thewall.
•Ifthe applianceis notused for long time(forexample duringthe summer
holidays)Defrostand clean the refrigerator leaving the dooropento preventthe
formation of mildew andsmell.
•Tostoptheappliancecompletely,unplugfrommainsocket (forcleaningand when

For your safety please read the following information
Warning: This appliance must be earthed.
This appliance operates from 220-240 volts and should be protected by a 13 amp fuse in
the plug.
The appliance is supplied with a standard 13 amp 3-pin mains plug tted with a 13-amp fuse.
Should the fuse require replacement, it must be replaced with a fuse rated at 13 amp and
approved to BS1362.
If the mains plug which is tted is unsuitable for the socket outlet in your home or is removed
for any other reason, please follow the instructions below on how to wire a 13 amp 3 pin
plug..
How to wire a 13 amp plug.
Important
The wires in the mains lead on this appliance are
coloured in accordance with the following code:
Green and Yellow - Earth
Blue – Neutral
Brown – Live
As the colours may not correspond with the markings identifying the terminals in your plug
proceed as follows.
The green and yellow wire must be connected to the terminal in the plug which is marked
with the letter E or with the earth symbol or coloured green and yellow.
The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked N.
The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked L.
You must make sure the lead is rmly secured under the cord clamp.
