No-frostrefrigeratorsdifferfromotherstatic
refrigeratorsin theiroperatingprinciple.
Innormalfridges,thehumidityenteringthefridgedue
todooropeningsand thehumidityinherentinthe food
causesfreezinginthefreezerdepartment.Todefrost
thefrostandiceinthefreezercompartment,youare
periodicallyrequiredto turn off the fridge,placethe
food thatneedstobe keptfrozeninaseparatelycooled
container,andremovetheicegathered inthefreezer
department.
Thesituationis completelydifferent inno-frostfridges.
Dryand coldairisblowninto the fridgeandfreezer
compartmentshomogeneouslyandevenlyfromseveral
pointsvia ablowerfan. Cold airdispersed
homogeneously andevenlybetweentheshelvescools
allof yourfoodequallyand uniformly,thuspreventing
humidityandfreezing.
Thereforeyourno-frostfridgeallowsyoueaseof use,
inaddition toitshugecapacityand stylishappearance.
CHAPTER1. BEFOREUSINGYOUR FRIDGE
SafetyInstructions
•IfthemodelcontainsR600a-seenameplateunderrefrigerant(thecoolant isobutene),
naturalsgasthat, is veryenvironmentallyfriendlybut alsocombustible.When
transportingand installingtheunitcaremustbe takentoensurethatnoneofthe
refrigerationcircuitcomponentsbecomedamaged.Intheeventofdamageavoid
nakedflamesorignitionsourcesand ventilatetheroomin whichthe unitisplaced
forafewminutes.
Warning: Keepventilationopeningsinapplianceenclosureorinstructureforbuilding
in,clearofobstruction.
•Donot usemechanicaldevicesorotherartificial meanstoaccelerate thedefrosting
process.
•Donotuseelectricalappliancesinthe refrigeratororfreezercompartmentofthe

InstallingandOperatingyourFridge
•Beforemakingtheconnectiontothepowersupply,ensurethatthe voltageonthe
nameplatecorrespondstothe voltageofthe electricalsystematyourhome.
•Operating voltage for yourfridgeis220-240V at50Hz.
•Beforestartingtouseyourfridge,pleasecontactthenearestauthorizedservicerif
helpisneededwiththeinstallation,operationandusageofyourfridge.
•Themainpowercordof yourfridgehasagroundedplug. This
plugshould beusedwithagroundedreceptaclethathasa16
amperfuseminimum.Ifyou don’thaveareceptacleconforming
withthis,pleasehaveone installedbyaqualifiedelectrician.
•Wedonot takeresponsibilityforanydamagesthatoccurdueto
ungroundedusage.
•Placeyourfridgeinaplacewhereitisnotexposed todirect
sunlight.
•Yourappliance shouldbe at least50 cm awayfromstoves,
ovensandheatercores,andshouldbeatleast5cm awayfrom
electricalovens.
•This applianceshould neverbeusedoutdoorsor left underthe
rain.
•Fittheplasticwallspacerstothecondenseronthebackofthe refrigeratorinorderto
preventitfromtouchingthe wall andaffectingperformance.
•When yourfridgeis placednexttoadeepfreezer,thereshouldbeatleast2cm
between the appliancestopreventhumidityonthe outersurface.Donotplaceanything
onyourfridge,andinstallyourfridgeinasuitableplacewherethereis atleast15cm
ofclearancespaceavailableontheupperside.
•Ifyouplaceyourfridgenexttoyourkitchencabinets,leavea
spaceof2cmbetween theapplianceandthe cabinets.
•Installthedistanceadjustmentplastic(thepartwithblackvanes
attherear) byturning it90°toprevent the condenserfrom
touchingthewall.
•Theadjustable frontlegsshould besetat anappropriate heighttoallowyourfridge
to operate inastable and properway.You can adjustthe legs byturning them
clockwiseorcounter-clockwise.This shouldbe done beforeplacingfood inthefridge.
•Beforeusingyourfridge,wipeall partswithwarmwatermixedwithateaspoonfulof
sodiumbicarbonateandthenrinsewithclean waterand dry.Aftercleaning,replace
allpartsintheirproperlocationsinthefridge.
BeforeUsingyourFridge
•When operatedforthefirsttimeoraftertransportation, keep your
fridge intheuprightpositionforatleast3hoursbeforepluggingit
in to allowefficientoperation.Otherwise, you maydamage the
compressor.
•Yourfridgemayhaveaslight odour whenitis operatedforthefirsttime.The odour
willfadeawaywhen yourfridgestartstocool.

CHAPTER2. USAGE INFORMATION
TemperatureSettings
CoolerandFreezerThermostatKnob
Cooling compartment
The thermostat ensuresthatthe temperaturesettings inthe cooling and freezing
compartmentsofyourrefrigerator arecontrolled automatically. Itmaybeset to anyvalue
rangingfrom1to6.Asyouturnthethermostatsettingknobfrom1to6,the amountof
coolingincreases.
Cooling compartmentthermostatknob:
5-6: Formorecooling.
3-5: For normal utilization.
1 - 3 : Forlesscooling.
WarningsforTemperatureSettings
•It isnot recommended that youoperateyourfridgeinenvironmentscolderthan 10°C
intermsofitsefficiency.
•Thethermostat setting shouldbe done bytaking into considerationhowoftenthe
freshfood andfreezer doorsareopened and closed,howmuchfoodisstoredinthe
refrigerator,andthe environmentin whichthe refrigeratorislocated.
•Yourfridgeshould beoperatedup to24 hoursaccordingtothe ambienttemperature
without interruptionafterbeingplugged into becompletelycooled. Donot open
doorsofyourfridgefrequentlyanddonotplacemuchfoodinsideitinthisperiod.
•A5 minutedelayingfunctionis appliedtopreventdamagetothecompressorof your
fridge,whenyou takethe plug off and then plug itonagain tooperateitor when an
energybreakdownoccurs.Yourfridge will starttooperatenormallyafter5minutes.
•Yourfridgeis designedtooperate intheambient
temperatureintervalsstated in the standards,
accordingtothe climate class statedin the
information label.Itisnotrecommended that your
fridge isoperatedin theenvironmentswhichare
outof thestatedtemperatureintervalsintermsof
coolingefficiency.

CHAPTER3. PLACINGTHEFOOD
Cooling Compartment
•Toprevent humidificationand odour formation, the food should be placedin the
refrigeratorinclosedorcoveredcontainers.
•Hot foodsand drinksshouldbecooledtoroomtemperaturesbeforebeingplaced
intherefrigerator.
•Pleasedo notproppackaged food andcontainersagainstthelamporcoverofthe
cooling compartment.
•Fruitsandvegetablesmaybeplaceddirectly in thevegetableholderwithoutbeing
wrapped separately.
•Somerecommendationshavebeenspecifiedbelowfortheplacementandstorage
ofyourfoodinthecoolingcompartment.
NOTE: Potatoes,onionsand garlicshouldnotbestoredintherefrigerator.Meatshould
neverbe refrozenafterit isthawed ifithasnot beencookedbeforerefreezing.

TheDeepFreezeCompartment
•Usethedeepfreezecompartmentof yourrefrigeratorforstoringthefrozenfoodfora
longtimeandforproducing ice.
•Togetmaximumcapacityforfreezercompartment,pleasejustuseglassshelvesfor
upperandmiddle section.Forbottomsection,pleaseuselowerbasket.
•Placethe food youwould like tofreezeinitiallyintheupper shelf ofthedeepfreeze
sectioninsuchawaythatitshallnotexceedthedeclaredfreezingcapacityof your
refrigerator.Youmayplaceyourfoodnexttotheotherfrozenfoodsaftertheyare
frozen (for atleast24 hours).
•Itisrecommendedtokeepthermostatsetatlevel5.
•Itisrecommendedthatthefoodwhichisbeing newlyfrozenbekeptseparate from
thealreadyfrozenfood.
•Foodsshouldbefrozeninsingleportionsizedcontainers.
•Donotrefreezethe frozenfoodonceitisthawed.Itmayposeadangertoyourhealth
asitmight causeproblemslikefoodpoisoning.
•Donotplacehotmealsinyourdeepfreezeuntiltheycooldown. Youcould causethe
otherfoodfrozenbeforehandin thedeepfreezecompartmenttobecomespoiled.
•Asyoubuyfrozenfood,makesureitwasfrozen underappropriate conditionsand
thatthe packagingis nottorn.
•Whilestoring frozenfood,thestorage conditionsonthepackage shouldcertainly be
observed.Iftherearenoinstructions,the food hastobe consumedintheshortest
possibleperiodoftime.
•Frozen foodhasto be transportedbeforeitthawsandit shouldbeplacedinthe fast
freezing shelfassoonaspossible. Pleasedo notusethedoorshelvesforfast
freezing purposes.
•Ifthefrozenfoodpackagehasbeenhumidified andithasafoul odour,thefoodmight
havepreviouslybeen stored underunsuitable conditionsand becomespoiled.
Pleasedonotbuysuchfood!
•The storage durations of frozenfood changedepending onthe environmental
temperatures, thefrequentopening andclosingofthedoors,thermostat settings,
foodtypes, andtheperiodof timethat elapsedfromwhenthefoodwasacquiredto
the time it enteredthe freezer.Always abidebytheinstructionsonthepackageand
neverexceedthe storage duration.
•Duringextendedpoweroutages,pleasedonotopenthedoorofthedeepfreeze
compartment. Yourrefrigeratorwill preserveyourfrozenfood inthe ambient
environmental temperatureof25°Cforabout13 hours.Thispreservationtime period
decreasesthehighertheambientenvironmentaltemperaturesare.Duringlonger
lastingpowercuts,youshouldnot refreezeyourfood.
Somerecommendationshavebeenspecifiedonpages9,10and11forthe placement
andstorage ofyourfoodinthe deep freezecompartment.

CHAPTER4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•Makesure tounplug thefridgebeforestarting to cleanit.
•Donotwash your fridge bypouringwater.
•Youcanwipetheinnerandoutersideswithasoftcloth ora
sponge usingwarm,soapywater.
•Removethepartsindividually andcleanwithsoapywater.Do
notwashin washingmachine.
•Neveruseflammable,explosive,orcorrosivematerialslikepaint
thinner,gas,oracid forcleaningthefridge.
•Cleaningthecondenser(backof theappliance)witha
brushoravacuumcleanerat leastonceayearwill
ensure maximumproductefficiency andproductivity.
Makesurethatyourfridgeisunpluggedwhile cleaning.

ReplacingtheBulb
Toreplacethe bulb inthe freezerandfridge
compartments;
1- Unplugyourfridge.
2- Using ascrewdriver,carefully removethe
lightcover fromthetoppanel.
3- Replacewitha15wattbulb.
4- Reinstallthe lightcover.
5- Wait for5minutesbeforere-plugging the
fridge in and restore the thermostat to its
originalposition.
Defrosting
•Yourrefrigeratorperformsfullyautomaticdefrosting.Thewaterformed asaresultof
defrosting passesthrough thewatercollection spout,flowsintothe vaporization
containerbehind yourrefrigeratorandevaporatesbyitselfinthere.
•Makesureyou havedisconnectedthe plug ofyourrefrigeratorbeforecleaning
thevaporizationcontainer.
•Removethevaporizationcontainerfromitspositionbyunscrewingthe screwsas
indicated.Clean itwithsoapywateratspecific timeintervals.Thus,the odourformation
willhavebeenprevented.

CHAPTER6. BEFORECALLINGSERVICE
Ifyourrefrigeratorisnotworking:
•Isthereanelectricalfailure?
•Hastheplugbeencorrectlyconnected tothesocket?
•Hasthere been a blow-outinthefuseorbreakeroftheelectricalcircuit to whichthe
plughasbeenconnected?
•Arethereanyfaultswiththe socket?Forthispurpose,trytheplugofyourrefrigerator
byconnectingittoasocket whichyouaresureisworking.
Ifyourrefrigeratordoesnotgetcoldenough:
•Isthethermostatsetinthecoldestposition?
•Arethedoorsofyourrefrigeratoropenedveryfrequentlyanddotheyremainopenfor
longperiodsoftime?
•Dothedoorsofyourrefrigeratorfully closedandarethedoorgasketssealing
correctly?
•Areanycontainersordishesplacedinyourrefrigeratorcontactingthebackwallin
sucha waythattheyare obstructingtheaircirculation?
•Isyourrefrigeratorover-filled?
•Isthereenoughspacebetween yourrefrigeratorand thebackandsidewalls?

IfthefoodintheCooling/Freezingcompartmentiscolderthannecessary:
•Hasasuitabletemperaturesettingbemade?(Arethethermostatknobsinthe
position “5”?)
•Istheretoomuchnewly placedfoodinthe deep freezecompartment?
Ifthereis,the compressorshall operatelongerforfreezingit; henceitmayalso possibly
becoolingthefood inthecooling compartmentmorethannecessary.
Ifyourrefrigeratorisoperatingnoisily:
Thecompressorshallfromtimetotimeenergize toensurethat theadjusted coolness
levelremainfixed.Thenoisesthatmaybeheardfromtherefrigeratoratthattimeare
normal asrequiredbyfunction.
Oncethe requiredcoolness levelhasbeen achieved,thenoisesshould automatically
diminish.
Ifthereisstill noise:
•Hasyourrefrigeratorbeenleveled?Havethefeetbeenadjustedand set?
•Isthere anythingbehindyourrefrigerator?
•Arethe shelvesorthe platesontheshelvesof yourfridge vibrating? If so, then
rearrange theshelvesand/orplates.
•Arethegoodsplacedinyourfridgevibrating?Securethemorrearrangeontheshelf.

ShortCracking Noise:
•Itisheardwhenthethermostatturnsthecompressoronand off.
CompressorNoise:
•Itisanormal enginenoise.Thisnoiseindicatesthatthecompressoris operating
normally.
•Asthecompressoris beingenergized,itmightrunabitmorenoisilyfor ashort
periodoftime.
Bubbling andgurgling sound:
•This noiseisemittedasthecoolantfluid flowsthroughthepipeswithinthesystem.
Waterflowing sound:
•This isthenormalsoundof waterflowingintothedraintroughduring thedefrosting
process.
Airblowingsound:
•Itisthe normalfansound.ThissoundmaybeheardduetoaircirculationinNoFrost
refrigeratorswhenthesystemisoperating normally.

Ifthe edgesoftherefrigeratorcabinetcontactedby thedoorsealarehot:
•Especiallyinsummermonths(inhotweather),theremight bewarmingofthe surfaces
contactedbythe seal ontherefrigerator.Thisisnormal.
Ifthereis moistureontheinnerpartsofyourrefrigerator:
•Hasthefoodbeenproperly packagedand sealed? Havethecontainersbeen well
driedbeforetheywereput into therefrigerator?
•Arethedoorsoftherefrigeratoropenedveryfrequently?Oncethedoorisopened,
thehumidityfound inthe airin the roomenterstherefrigerator.Especiallyifthe
humiditylevelsintheroomareveryhigh.Themorefrequentlythedoorisopened,
thefasterwillbethehumidification.
•Itisnormaltohavewaterdropsformedon thebackwallfollowingthe automatic
defrostingprocess(InStaticModels).
Ifthe doorsarenotbeingproperlyclosed:
•Arefoodpackagespreventingthe doorsfrombeingclosed?
•Havethedoorcompartments,shelvesand drawersproperly placed?
•Are thedoorsealsdefectiveortorn?
•Isyourrefrigeratorstandingonlevelground?
IMPORTANTNOTES:
•Incaseofasuddenpower lossor disconnectingand reconnectingoftheplugtothe
electricalsocket,thecompressorprotectivethermalelementwillbeopenedasthe
pressureof thegasinthecooling systemofyourrefrigeratorhasnotyetbeen
balanced. 4or5minuteslater,yourrefrigeratorwillstartto operate;thisisnormal.
•Ifyou won’tbeusing yourrefrigeratorforalongtime(such asonsummerholidays),
pleasedisconnectthe plug fromthesocket.Clean yourrefrigeratorasperPart 4of
this documentand leavethe dooropen to preventanyhumidificationor odour
formation.

Warning: This appliance must be earthed.
This appliance operates from 220-240 volts and should be protected by a 13 amp fuse in
the plug.
The appliance is supplied with a standard 13 amp 3-pin mains plug tted with a 13-amp fuse.
Should the fuse require replacement, it must be replaced with a fuse rated at 13 amp and
approved to BS1362.
If the mains plug which is tted is unsuitable for the socket outlet in your home or is removed
for any other reason, please follow the instructions below on how to wire a 13 amp 3 pin

How to wire a 13 amp plug.
Important
The wires in the mains lead on this appliance are
coloured in accordance with the following code:
Green and Yellow - Earth
Blue – Neutral
Brown – Live
As the colours may not correspond with the markings identifying the terminals in your plug
proceed as follows.
The green and yellow wire must be connected to the terminal in the plug which is marked
with the letter E or with the earth symbol or coloured green and yellow.
The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked N.
The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked L.
You must make sure the lead is rmly secured under the cord clamp.
