INSTRUCTIONS
Do not overload the hoist.
Ensure the chain block,
lubrication of the transmitting

proper condition before using
the hoist.
Before lifting, ensure the
hooks are securely attached.
Ensure the load chain is not
twisted. To lift the load, pull
the hand chain to rotate the
hand wheel in a clockwise
direction. Pull the hand chain
in the opposite direction to
lower the load.
Do not pass or work under a
load while it is being lifted.
While lifting or lowering a
load, pull the hand chain
steadily to prevent jerking or

over the rated capacity of the
block.
MAINTENANCE
Clean off the dirt on the chain
block, lubricate its parts with
grease after use and store it in
a dry place.
While assembling the brake
mechanism, take care to mesh
the slanting teeth of the ratchet
disc and the pawl.
Make sure that the spring and
pawl work sensitively and
reliably. Turn the hand wheel
clockwise ensuring it presses
the disc and the plates on the
brake seat. If turned clockwise,
there should be clearance
between the disc and the plate.
After cleaning and repairing the
block should be subjected to a
no-load test and load test. A
chain block can be put into
operation after it has been
tested and found under reliable
brake and in good condition.
Keep the friction surfaces of the
brake clean. Break mechanisms
should be inspected regularly
for prevention of faulty breaking
and falling of the load.
