HOW TO ASSEMBLE YOUR

Capacity not to exceed 300 lb
DROP ARM COMMODE
Place commode on front side.
Depress push buttons on backrest,
and insert into the backrest receivers
located on the bottom of the seat
platform. Ensure push buttons are
fully engaged and check by pulling
upward (see Figure 1).
To lower the drop arms, push
in the red spring-loaded
release button and swing drop
arm down (see Figure 3).
To raise the drop arms, swing
drop arm up until the red
spring-loaded release button
completely pops out and is
locked (see Figure 4).

Adjust the height of the legs by
depressing the push button on each
leg and sliding the legs up or down
to desired height (see Figure 2).
NOTE: Legs must be adjusted to
same height so commode sits level.

Lift the seat and place the bucket in the center of the commode in between the bucket hangers. When using
the commode over a toilet, replace the bucket with the splash guard. The commode should be low enough to
ensure that your feet touch the oor when sitting on it, but high enough to enable easier sitting and standing.
After use, remove the bucket, discard waste and sanitize.
HOW TO USE
Check regularly to make sure all arms and legs on the commode are securely locked. Use a mild detergent and
warm water to clean. Dry with a soft cloth to avoid moisture build-up.

Read all instructions carefully and consult with a qualied professional before assembling to avoid possible
injury. NOVA Medical Products shall have no liability for any injury resulting from improper assembly or misuse
of this product.
• Ensure ALL leg/backrest push buttons are engaged before using
• All legs MUST be adjusted to the same height to ensure level seating and safety
• Use EXTREME caution on wet tub or oor surfaces
• DO NOT stand on commode
• DO NOT use if commode is damaged. Check frequently for cracks, damage, or looseness.

workmanship under NORMAL use for the period commencing upon the date of purchase and continuing
for the following specied period of time after that date:

This warranty does not cover problems due to user negligence, misuse of the product, failure to adhere
to product instructions, or normal wear and tear. Items that have been subject to negligent abuse,
modied without prior written authorization are not covered within this warranty.
For warranty service, please contact the dealer from whom you purchased your NOVA product. In the
event that you do not receive satisfactory service, please call us directly at the number on the bottom
front of this sheet. Be prepared to indicate, the nature of the defect, the product serial number, and the
name and location of where you purchased the product. You will also be required to provide a receipt of
your purchase. Do not return any products to our ofce without prior consent.
Repair or replacement is the only remedy under this limited warranty. This warranty does not include any
labor or shipping charges incurred in replacement part installation or repair of product.
THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES, IMPLIED
WARRANTIES, IF ANY, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS
