U200 Twin Multi Channel UHF
Handheld Microphone System
Thank you for purchasing the Novopro U200 UHF wireless microphone.
This user manual will help you to set up and understand the operation of the
unit and its features, so please spend a few minutes reading through this information
to ensure correct and reliable operation.
User Manual
1. ON/OFF Power Switch.
2. LED Power indicator
3. Backlit / illuminated LCD information display showing the receiver frequency
channel no. Etc.
4. Down function button for setting the channel number and frequency.
5. Up function button for setting the channel number and frequency.
6. “AF” level indicator, displaying the audio frequency signal level.
7. “RF” signal indicator. Illuminates when the receiver receives the signal
from the transmitter.
8. High gain antenna for improved signal range.
9. 2xXLRbalancedoutputs,withaxedmicrophonelineleveloutput,forusewith
long cable runs.(the XLR’s bypass the volume controls on the front panel for a
high quality, direct audio path)
10. Volume control for the output level of the receiver – operational when using the
‘mixed’ jack socket output only.
11. 6.35mm - ” audio output jack (mixed output from both channels)
12. Power input socket from the supplied AC/DC main adaptor.
U200 Twin Receiver Layout
To change the channel/frequency, simply hold down the UP (3) or DOWN (4) buttons
oneitherthetransmitterorreceiveruntiltheCH(channelnumber)ashesonthe
backlit display (2) Then press the UP or DOWN button to select the desired channel/
frequency. Once this has been selected simply release the button. After 3 seconds,
thedisplaywillstopashingandthefrequencyhasbeenset.Thisproceduremustbe
carried out on both the transmitter and the receiver in order that the frequencies are
matched.TheU200hasa‘ashmemory’meaningthatthefrequencywillstay
selected but after many months/years of not being used, you may need to match/pair
the frequencies again. To check that the frequency is matched between the
transmitter and the receiver, when the handheld microphone switch (5) is set to the
“ON” position, the green “RF” LED will illuminate on the receiver to indicate that RF
(radio frequency) is being received from the transmitter. When you speak into the
microphone(whentheswitchisonthefully“ON”position)thered“AF”LEDwillash
when an audio signal is being received. i.e. the red light will illuminate when you
are speaking. Please ensure that you always carry a spare set of batteries and that
rechargeable batteries (if used) are fully charged.

This product has been manufactured to our high standards at Novopro and has been
QC tested prior to your purchase but if you do encounter any problems with the
Novopro U200, then please check the following before contacting or returning to your
place of purchase:
1)Ensurethebatteriesarenotat;pleasetryanothersetofneworfullycharged
batteries.
2)Makesurethattheaerialsareconnectedcorrectlytotheunit;simplyreleasethe
locking connector on the aerial and gently re-tighten. If you are still encountering
problems,pleaseturnothepowertothereceiverandremovethebatteriesfrom
the transmitter. Wait for 3 minutes then re-power the units.
Wealsosuggestthatyouselectadierentfrequencyifyouareencounteringissues
or have interference problems, please see the section
“Changing channel/frequency on the Novopro U200”.
