Safety Instructions
Please read this instruction manual before using your Tower Fan for the first time and
keep safe for future reference.
CAUTION: Read and follow all instructions before operating this fan.
Use the fan only as described in this manual. Misuse may cause a fire or an
electrical shock.
1 Do not operate the fan with a
damaged power cord or plug, after
it malfunctions, has been dropped
or damaged. If the power cord is
damaged it must be replaced by a
qualified service engineer to avoid
a hazard.
2 Close supervision is necessary when
this fan is used near children and
pets.
3 Always turn the fan off after use and
before cleaning or moving location.
4 Do not insert fingers or other objects
into the fan guard.
5 Do not operate the fan in areas
where petrol, paint or other
flammable liquids are used or
stored.
6 Do not place the fan near an
open flame, cooking or heating
appliance, or hot surface.
7 This fan is not intended for use in wet
or damp locations. Never locate the
fan in an area where it may fall into
a bath or other water container.
8 This fan should not be operated
outside.
9 Always use on a dry, level surface.
10 Do not let the power cord hang
over the edge of a table or counter.
11 Arrange the power cord away from
an area where it may be tripped
over.
12 Never place the power cord under
a carpet or rug.
13 To disconnect from the power
supply, grip the plug and pull from
the power socket. Never pull by the
cord.
14 Do not hang or mount the fan on a
wall or ceiling.
15 Do not operate if the fan guard is
removed or damaged.
16 This product is designed for
household and light commercial use
ONLY.
17 Do not allow children play with the
packaging (such as plastic bags).
18 Check the voltage of your mains
supply matches the voltage marked
on the rating label of the appliance
before plugging into the power
socket.
19 Before assembling or dismantling
the fan, please ensure that the fan is
unplugged.

This appliance is for household use only. Any servicing other than cleaning and
user maintenance should be performed by authorized service representative.
Do not immerse the unit in water. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do
not remove the housing. No user serviceable parts inside. Only authorized service
personnel shall handle repair work.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
1. Ensure the power cord goes through the hole
created by the front & back base plates when
joined together.
2. Make sure the holes of front base plate correspond
with the rear base, and then press them together.
3. Insert the Oscillation support into the base plate.
4. Fasten the Butterfly screws to make sure the main
unit and the base plates are firmly connected.
5. Then clip the power cord into base plate.

Press the ON/OFF button once to turn on the power and press again to stop.
SPEED When the fan is switched on, turn the speed control knob in a clockwise
direction to increase the fan speed.
Turn it anticlockwise to reduce the speed.
The LEDs will light up to indicate the volocity.
Press the OSC button to make the fan
oscillate in a horizontal direction. Press again
to switch off this function.
MODE Press once to choose ‘breeze’ effect;
press twice to select ‘sleep’ mode; press a
third time to turn off wind effects. Breeze mode simulates a natural wind cycle of
rising and falling wind velocity which will vary according to the fan speed selected
by the rotary speed control. Sleep mode is similar to Breeze mode and will include
periods when the fan is off.
TIMER Press the button to select the required operating time ~ 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours. The
LED lights will indicate the chosen time. For continuous operation, do not select
Timer or press the Timer button a fifth time according to the following diagram.
ION When the appliance is switched on, press the ION button to set the ioniser
function. The appliance will release negative ions into the air to assist in restoring a
natural balance. A blue light will indicate that the ION function is selected. Press the
ION button once more to turn off the ION function.
NOTE: when ‘breeze’ or ‘sleep’ mode is selected, the fan will continually cycle
through Low, Medium and High setting as appropriate to the desired speed.

Maintenance
• BEFORE MAITENANCE, REMOVE THE PLUG FROM THE POWER SUPPLY.
• Use a soft cloth regularly to clean the surface of the fan and fan base.
• Should the fan body become very dirty, use a soft, damp cloth and dry the unit
completely before reconnecting to the power supply.
• Do not allow water to get into the motor during the cleaning process.
• Do not use the THINNER, ALCOHOL, OR OTHER CHEMICAL liquids to clean the fan.
Storage – out of season
Before storing your fan at the end of the season please follow the above maintenance
routine and then:
1. Apply a few drops of lubricant on motor shaft to avoid corrosion.
2. Remove any oil or dirt stains from the body to prevent the fan from damage.
3. Return the fan to it’s retail carton and store in a cool, dry place.
Recycling and Disposal
The WEEE directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment; 2002/96/EC) has
been put in place to ensure that products are recycled using best available
treatment, recovery and recycling techniques to ensure human health and high
level environment protection. Your product is designed and manufactured with
high quality materials and components, which can be recycled and reused.
Do not mix products bearing the crossed out bin symbol with your
general household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist.
Check with your Local Authority or retailer for recycling advice.

Service and Warranty
NScessity guarantees this product free from defects in materials and workmanship
for a period of one (1) year. Should this unit be operated under conditions other
than those recommended, at voltages other than the voltage indicated on the
unit, or any attempts made to service or modify the unit, or if the unit has been
re-sold, this will render this WARRANTY VOID. The product you buy may sometimes
differ slightly from illustration. This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your
statutory rights.
• Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug, after the unit malfunctions,
has been dropped or damaged.
• For your convenience, record the complete model number and product name
(located on the Rating Plate), the date you purchased the product, and attach
your purchase receipt as proof of purchase.
• To ensure your product is covered by warranty, the complete faulty product
together with your purchase receipt should be returned to your retailer.
