Connecting to your computer - Plug and Play
Instrucon Guide
1. Connect the USB cable to the USB port of your computer. The
embedded USB cable features both USB Type-A (Ref.4) or USB
Type-C (Ref.5) connectors. Either connector can be used to
connect to your computer.
2. Open up the media player device installed on your computer and
begin playing media.
Windows
For Windows systems, if the DVD/CD does not load automatically, open
File Explorer. Right click on the disc icon and select ‘Play with...’ followed
by your chosen media player program. For desktop devices, please plug
the USB cable into the mainboard USB slot at the rear of your computer.
Windows 10 and above
If you are using Windows 10 or above, please install VLC Media Player in
order to play CDs and DVDs. You can download VLC Media Player at the
following web address: www.videolan.org/
Mac OS
To play a DVD/CD using Mac OS, select a media player program and
load the disc.
Compatibility
Compatible with Windows XP/2003/Vista/7/8.1/10, Linux, Mac OS
Supported CD formats: DVD-ROM/-R/+R/-RW/-R/-R DLCDA, CD-ROM/-
R/-RW, VCD. Please note that this device is not compatible with Blu-Ray
discs.

Precautions and Notes
• Please do not place on unstable surfaces
• Please do not place device near strong magnetic objects
• Keep device steady on desktop
• Please do not look directly into the inside of the device as the
laser may be harmful to the eyes
• Please do not place heavy objects on top of the device
• Please do not put any pressure on top of the device as this may
damage the disc reading mechanism
Notes
Please connect the device directly to the USB port of your computer. If
you connect the device via a USB hub or an extended card, the device
may not function correctly.
Please note that in order to ensure sucient power supply to the
device, the DVD/CD drive can not be inserted via a USB adapter.
In order to function without the requirement of downloading drivers,
the operating system of your computer must have the ability to detect
external devices.
Please note: in order to download the driver, your computer must be
connected to the internet.

Servicing is required when the apparatus has been

be placed on the apparatus.

safely according to your local authority and
regulations.

The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or
splashing and no objects lled with liquid, such as
vases, shall be places on the apparatus.
Main plug is used to disconnect device and it should
remain readily operable during intended use. In order
to disconnect the apparatus from the main mains
completely, the mains plug should be disconnected
from the main socket outlet completely.
Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as
sunshine, re or the like.
