Aufstellen
•Schützen Sie das Gerät vor direkter Sonnenstrahlung.

Einrichten
Gerät aufstellen
Stellen Sie das biOrb EARTH auf eine ausreichend große und ausreichend tragfähige Unterlage;
zum Beispiel auf einen Tisch oder einen Schrank.
HINWEIS
Das Gerät vor direkter Sonnenstrahlung schützen.
In unmittelbarer Nähe muss sich eine Steckdose befinden.
Die Lüftungsöffnungen des Gerätes dürfen nicht abgedeckt werden.
Aus den seitlichen Lüftungsöffnungen kann bis zu 55 °C warme Luft austreten, welche z. B.
Pflanzen oder andere wärmeempfindliche Materialien schädigen kann. Stellen Sie einen ausrei-
chenden Freiraum sicher.
Für den Zugang zum Gerät muss ausreichend Platz vorhanden sein.

Gerät ausstatten
Verschaffen Sie sich Zugang zum Gerät und statten Sie das biOrb EARTH entsprechend Ihren Vor-
stellungen aus.

HINWEIS
Lüftungsgitter, Regendüsen und Sensoren dürfen von der Ausstattung nicht abgedeckt wer-
den.
Für einen naturgetreuen Regen müssen die Regendüsen so ausgerichtet werden, dass mög-
lichst der gesamte Raum beregnet wird.

Für die Nebel- und Regenfunktion muss das Flüssigkeitsreservoir ausreichend gefüllt sein. Bei zu
geringem Flüssigkeitsstand schaltet die Regen- und Nebelfunktion ab.

Garantie
Die OASE GmbH übernimmt für dieses von Ihnen erworbene OASE-Gerät für die Laufzeit von 24
Monaten eine Garantie gemäß den nachstehend aufgeführten Bedingungen. Die Garantie be-
steht neben den gesetzlichen Gewährleistungspflichten des Verkäufers und lässt diese unbe-
rührt. Die gilt unbeschadet zwingender gesetzlicher Haftungsvorschriften, wie zum Beispiel nach
dem Produkthaftungsgesetz, in Fällen des Vorsatzes und der groben Fahrlässigkeit, wegen Ver-
letzung des Lebens, des Körpers oder der Gesundheit durch die OASE GmbH oder ihre Erfüllungs-
gehilfen.
Dauer der Garantie
Die Laufzeit der Garantie beginnt mit dem Datum des erstmaligen Kaufs des OASE-Geräts beim
OASE-Fachhändler. Durch die Inanspruchnahme der Garantie oder den Weiterverkauf des OASE-
Geräts wird die Laufzeit der Garantie weder verlängert noch erneuert.
Garantieleistung
Die OASE GmbH gewährt eine Garantie für die einwandfreie, dem Zweck entsprechende Funkti-
onsfähigkeit und Brauchbarkeit des OASE-Geräts. Maßgeblich ist hierbei der Stand von Wissen-
schaft und Technik zum Herstellungszeitpunkt. Das OASE-Gerät muss den Fehler, der den Scha-
den verursacht hat, bereits zu diesem Zeitpunkt aufgewiesen haben.
Im Garantiefall behält die OASE GmbH sich vor, das OASE-Gerät unentgeltlich zu reparieren oder
unentgeltlich Ersatzteile für das OASE-Gerät oder ein Ersatzgerät zu liefern. Sollte der betref-
fende Gerätetyp des OASE-Geräts nicht mehr hergestellt werden, behält die OASE GmbH sich
vor, nach eigener Wahl ein Ersatzgerät aus dem OASE-Sortiment zu liefern, das dem beanstande-
ten Gerätetyp so nah wie möglich kommt.
Die Garantie gilt nur für Schäden an dem gekauften OASE-Gerät selbst. Die Erstattung von Auf-
wendungen für den Ein- und Ausbau und die Überprüfung, von Schadensersatzansprüchen für
Schäden, die nicht am gekauften Artikel selbst aufgetreten sind, sowie Forderungen nach ent-
gangenem Gewinn oder wegen Nutzungsausfalls sowie weitergehende Ansprüche für Schäden
und Verluste gleich welcher Art, die durch das OASE-Gerät oder seinen Gebrauch verursacht wur-
den, sind von der Garantie ausgeschlossen.

Ausschluss der Garantie
Ausgeschlossen von der Garantie sind Schäden, die durch
•mechanische Beschädigungen durch Unfall, Fall oder Stoß, oder
•höhere Gewalt oder Naturkatastrophen, insbesondere, aber nicht abschließend bei Über-
schwemmungen, Bränden oder Frostschäden,
•fahrlässige oder mutwillige Zerstörung (zum Beispiel durch Abschneiden des Steckers oder
Kürzen des Stromkabels), oder
•Missbrauch, unsachgemäßen oder nicht bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch, Einbau- und Bedie-
nungsfehler oder mangelnde Pflege (zum Beispiel Verwendung ungeeigneter Putzmittel, un-
terlassene Wartung, Kalkablagerungen), Überlastung oder Nichtbeachtung der Benutzer hin-
weise/Gebrauchsanweisung, entstanden sind,
•durch eigene Reparaturbemühungen verschlimmert werden, sowie Schäden an
•Verschleißteilen wie zum Beispiel Leuchtmittel und Rotoren,
•zerbrechlichen Teilen, wie zum Beispiel Glas, Glühlampen, und
•Verbrauchsmaterial, wie zum Beispiel Batterien oder Filterschäume.
Bezüglich des sachgemäßen Gebrauchs verweist die OASE GmbH auf die Gebrauchsanweisung,
die Bestandteil dieser Garantie ist.
Geltendmachung von Ansprüchen
Ansprüche aus der Garantie können innerhalb der Laufzeit nur gegenüber der OASE GmbH, Teck-
lenburger Straße 161, 48477 Hörstel, Deutschland, geltend gemacht werden. Hierfür schickt der
Anspruchsteller unter Übernahme der Versandkosten und des Transportrisikos das beanstandete
Gerät oder Geräteteil mit einer Kopie des Originalverkaufsbelegs des OASE-Fachhändlers, dieser
Garantieurkunde sowie der schriftlichen Angabe des beanstandeten Fehlers an die OASE GmbH.
Allgemeine Vorschriften
Für diese Garantie gilt deutsches Recht unter Ausschluss des Übereinkommens der Vereinten
Nationen über Verträge über den internationalen Warenkauf (CISG).

Installing the unit
Position the biOrb EARTH on a sufficiently large, load-bearing surface, for instance on a table or
on a cabinet.
NOTE
Protect the unit from direct sunlight.
Ensure that an electrical outlet is in the immediate vicinity.
Do not cover the ventilation openings of the unit.
Air at a temperature of up to 55 °C can exit the ventilation openings on the sides and cause
damage to plants or other heat-sensitive materials. Ensure sufficient clear space.
Ensure that there is sufficient space to access the unit.

Filling the unit
Access the unit and fill the biOrb EARTH as desired.
A variety of decorative items and plants are available from OASE retail partners or at
www.oase.com.
NOTE
Ensure that the items used to fill the unit do not cover ventilation grilles, rain nozzles and sen-
sors.
To ensure that the rain is true to nature, the rain nozzles must be aligned so that the entire
space gets rained on, if at all possible.

Filling the liquid reservoir
The liquid reservoir must be filled sufficiently to permit the mist and rain function. The mist and
rain function is deactivated automatically if the liquid level is too low.

Guarantee
OASE GmbH guarantees this OASE device that you have purchased for a period of 24 months in
accordance with the conditions listed below. The guarantee exists in addition to the statutory
warranty obligations of the seller and does not affect these statutory warranty obligations. The
guarantee applies without prejudice to mandatory statutory liability provisions, for example the
provisions of the Product Liability Act, in cases of intent and gross negligence, injury to life, limb
or health on the part of OASE GmbH or its vicarious agents.
Guarantee period
The guarantee period begins on the date of first purchase of the OASE device from the OASE
stockist. The guarantee period will not be extended or renewed in the event of a guarantee claim
or if the OASE device is resold.
Guarantee
OASE GmbH guarantees proper functionality and usability of the OASE device in accordance with
its intended purpose. In this regard, the state of science and technology at the time of produc-
tion shall be authoritative. The OASE device must have already shown the defect that caused the
damage at this point in time.
In the event of a guarantee claim, OASE GmbH reserves the right to repair the OASE device free
of charge or to deliver spare parts for the OASE device or a replacement device free of charge. If
the device type of the OASE device in question is no longer being manufactured, OASE GmbH re-
serves the right to deliver a replacement device of its own choice from the OASE product range
that most nearly approaches the device type that is the object of the complaint.
The guarantee applies only to damage on the purchased OASE device itself. Reimbursement of
expenses for installation, removal and inspection, compensation claims for damage that did not
occur on the purchased article itself, as well as claims for loss of profit or loss of use and further
claims for damages and losses of any kind whatsoever caused by the OASE device or its use, are
excluded from the guarantee.

Guarantee exclusion
Excluded from the guarantee are damages caused by
•mechanical damage due to accident, fall or impact, or
•force majeure or natural disasters, in particular, but not limited to, floods, fires or frost dam-
age,
•negligent or wilful destruction (e.g. by cutting off the plug or shortening the power cable), or
•misuse, improper or non-intended use, installation and operator errors or lack of care (e.g. use
of unsuitable cleaning agents, omitted maintenance, lime-scale deposits), overload or failure
to comply with the user instructions,
•the user's own repair efforts, as well as damages to
•wear parts such as illuminant and rotors,
•fragile parts, such as glass, light bulbs and
•consumables, such as batteries or filter foams.
With regard to proper use, OASE GmbH refers to the operating instructions, which are a compo-
nent of this guarantee.
Assertion of claims
Guarantee claims can only be asserted against OASE GmbH, Tecklenburger Straße 161, 48477
Hörstel, Germany, within the guarantee period. To do this, the person submitting the claim,
bearing the shipping costs and the transport risk, sends the device, or the part of the device,
that is the object of the complaint, to OASE GmbH together with a copy of the original sales re-
ceipt issued by the OASE stockist, this guarantee certificate and written information concerning
the defect that is the object of the complaint.
General provisions
This guarantee is governed by German law with exclusion of the United Nations Convention on
Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

Consignes de sécurité
Mise en place
•Ne pas exposer directement l'appareil aux rayons du soleil.
•Les ouvertures de ventilation de l'appareil ne doivent pas être bouchées.
•Il doit y avoir suffisamment de place pour accéder à l’appareil.
Raccordement électrique
•Ne brancher l'appareil que lorsque les caractéristiques électriques de l'appareil et de l'alimen-
tation correspondent.
•Raccorder l'appareil uniquement à une prise installée de manière réglementaire.
•Protégez les fiches et les douilles ouvertes contre l'humidité.
Exploitation sécurisée
•Ne pas utiliser l'appareil en cas d'endommagement des câbles électriques ou du boîtier.
•Poser les câbles de manière à éviter tout risque d'endommagement et de trébuchement.

Configurer
Mise en place de l'appareil
Installer biOrb EARTH sur une surface suffisamment grande et suffisamment stable, par exemple
sur une table ou une armoire.
REMARQUE
Ne pas exposer directement l'appareil aux rayons du soleil.
Il doit y avoir une prise de courant à proximité immédiate.
Les ouvertures de ventilation de l'appareil ne doivent pas être bouchées.
De l'air chaud d’une température allant jusqu'à 55 °C peut s'échapper des évents latéraux, ce
qui peut endommager par exemple les plantes ou d'autres matériaux sensibles à la chaleur. Il
faut laisser un espace libre suffisant.
Il doit y avoir suffisamment de place pour accéder à l’appareil.
