Steel Frame Transport Chair

All below informaon serves to ensure the safety of user, read before use.
Please follow the instrucons below.
- Consult your physicians or doctors before use.
- The transport chair should never be used without assistance of an aendant.
- Always check the wheels for signs of tears, cracks, or wears before use. If any of these signs is present, replace it
immediately. Stop using if there is any sign of damage.
- The maximum capacity of this transport chair is 115 kg/ 250lbs.
- Always test the lock brakes before operang and sing down. When using the lock brake, the rear wheels should be
locked and not turning.
- Before entering or leaving the chair, keep the dual wheel locked.
- Do not install any accessories that are not recommended/ provided by Obbomed. Use of other manufacturer’s
accessories may result improper fit or bodily injuries.
- The transport chair is not suitable for use as seat in motor vehicles, users should always be transferred to vehicle’s seat.
- Recommend to remove or swing away the footrest before transferring the user.
- Do not step on the footrest when transferring, as this may cause pping and result serious bodily injury.
- Ensure the handles do not twist or move. The handles must be ght and secure.
- Do not use on stairs and escalators.
- All four wheels should be in contact with the floor at all mes during use.
- The transport chairs cannot be used on slopes greater than 10°.
- This chair is not designed for obstacles over 5 cm/ 2 inches. For small obstacles, aendant can li the front wheels by
stepping on the stepper tube.

OVERVIEW
ASSEMBLY AND HOW TO USE
Set up:
1. To unfold the chair, lt one side and push down on the seat rails.
2. Li the backrest to upright posion. The folding paddle will lock automacally.
3. Aached the footrests by aligning the holes on the footrests with the pegs on the frame of the transport chair.
4. to fold the chair, reverse the above steps.
The transport chair should never be used without assistance of an aendant.
LOCK BRAKE OPERATION AND ADJUSTMENT
Note: Always engage and disengage the lock brakes on both sides simultaneously.
- To lock the wheels in posion, press down both brake handles.
- To release the lock brakes, push up both brake handles to the original posion.

- Inspect the wheels and lock brakes for wear and damage regularly.
- Inspect the folding paddle on the backrest funcon properly
- Replace any broken, damaged, worn parts immediately.
- Store in cool and dry place if not in use. Long exposure to direct sunlight and heat may damage the rubber accessories.
- Wipe the frame of the transport chair with so cloth regularly.
- The seat and backrest can be cleaned with mild soap soluon, rinse and wipe dry.

This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser/ user of our product.
ObboMed warrants the frame to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the lifeme of the product. In the
event of a defect covered by this warranty, we will, at our opon, repair or eplace the device.
This warranty does not cover device failure due to owner misuse or negligence, or normal wear. The warranty does not
extend to non-durable components, such as rubber accessories, casters, and grips, which are subject to normal wear
and need periodic replacement. No guarantee is provided when the product is not installed/ operated according to this
manual, used for other purposes or careless use of the product.
For repair and warranty processing, please include the following documents when you send in the product:
• A copy of the receipt with purchasing date.
• A reason for the claim or descripon of the fault.
DISPOSAL
Disposal of packing and product aer end of lifeme.
Deliver all packing materials at a collecon point or in the appropriate bins for recycling. For further
queson please contact local recycling office.
