WHEN USING ELECTRICAL PRODUCTS, ESPECIALLY WHEN CHILDREN

FOLLOWED, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING
DANGER – TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK:
• Always unplug the massage cushion from the cigarette lighter, auxiliary power source or electrical
outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
• DO NOT reach for a massage cushion that has fallen into water. Unplug it immediately.
• NEVER use pins or other metallic fasteners with this cushion
• Carefully examine the covering before each use. Discard the massage cushion if covering or power/
control cords show any sign of deterioration, such as blistering or cracking.
WARNING – TO REDUCE THE RISK OF BURNS, ELECTRIC SHOCK ,
FIRE OR INJURY TO PERSONS:
• The massage cushion should NEVER be left unattended when plugged in. Unplug from cigarette
lighter, auxiliary power source or electrical outlet when not in use.
• Close supervision is necessary when this cushion is used by, on or near children
or disabled persons.
• Use this cushion only for its intended use as described in this manual.
• DO NOT use attachments not recommended by ObusForme; specifically, any attachments not
provided with the unit.
• NEVER operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has
been dropped or damaged, or if it has been dropped into water. Return it to ObusForme Service
Center for examination and repair.
• Use the car adaptor or AC adapter provided by ObusForme. Do not substitute any other car adaptor
or AC adaptor; doing so will void the product warranty.
• Use heated surfaces carefully. May cause serious burns. DO NOT use on insensitive skin areas or
in the presence of poor circulation. The unattended use of heat by children or incapacitated persons
may be dangerous.

• Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
• NEVER drop or insert any object into any opening.
• DO NOT operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen
is being administered.
• DO NOT operate under a blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occur and cause fire,
electrocution or injury to persons.
• DO NOT carry this appliance by power or remote control cords or use either cord
as a handle.
• To disconnect, push the power button to the “off” position, then remove adaptor
plug from outlet.
• This appliance is designed for personal, non-professional use only.
• DO NOT use outdoors.

• This product is not intended for medical use. It is intended only to provide a luxurious
massage.

• NEVER leave the appliance unattended, especially if children are present.
• NEVER cover the appliance when it is in operation.
• DO NOT use this product for more than 15 minutes at a time.
• Extensive use could lead to the product’s excessive heating and shorter life. Should this occur,
discontinue use and allow the unit to cool before operating.
• NEVER use this product directly on swollen or inflamed areas or skin eruptions.
• DO NOT use this product as a substitute for medical attention.
• This product should NEVER be used by any individual suffering from any physical ailment that
would limit the user’s capacity to operate the controls or who has sensory deficiencies in the
lower half of their body.
• This unit should not be used by children without adult supervision.

Instructions for Use
1. Simply plug the 12 volt auto adapter into a 12V DC outlet and plug
the receptacle end into the input jack, located along the side of the
cushion. Slip the cushion strap over your seat and clip the two short
straps together behind the seat.
2. Press the heat button ( ) once to choose low heat (warm)
temperature. ( ) The light below the symbol will signal low
temperature.
3. Press the heat button ( ) a second time to choose high
temperature. ( ) The light below the symbol will signal high
temperature.
4. Press the heat button ( ) a third time to turn off. Both lights
will be off.
Safety Devices
For your protection, these seat cushions have three automatic safety devices:
1. Automatic Shut-off - Massage
After 30 minutes, the massage function will automatically shut off. You can
turn the massage function on again after it has shut off.
2. Automatic Shut-off - Heat
After 30 minutes, the heat function will automatically shut off. You can turn
the heat function on again after it has shut off.
3. Temperature-Regulated Automatic Shut-off
This massage cushion is designed with an internal thermostat that
regulates the temperature of the cushion. The cushion will automatically
shut off when the temperature reaches its maximum heat level and
reactivate once the temperature lowers.
4. Weight-Sensitive Auto Shut-Off Pressure Switch
This massage cushion has a pressure switch which requires a body
weight of over 20 pounds/ 9.1 kilograms to rest on the seat cushion for
the Heat function to operate. When the weight is removed, the pressure
switch will automatically turn the Heat function off. However, the power
switch still needs to be turned off to completely turn the cushion off.

Once pressure is
removed, heat will
turn off. After applying
pressure, please
allow 5-10 minutes for
heat to reach
maximum
temperature.

NOTE: This unit is equipped with a protective thermostat that will shut off the
heating element if it overheats. If you suspect that your unit has overheated, unplug
the unit and let it cool for 30 minutes before plugging it in again and continuing use.
Maintenance
To Store
Place cushion in its box or in a safe, dry, cool place. Avoid contact with sharp
edges or pointed objects which might cut or puncture the fabric surface. To avoid
breakage, do not wrap the power cord around the unit. Do not hang the unit by
the controller cord.
To Clean
Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning. Clean only with
a soft, slightly damp sponge. Never allow water or any other liquids to come into
contact with the unit.
• Do not immerse in any liquid to clean.
• Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene, glass/furniture
polish,paint thinner to clean.
• Do not attempt to repair the massager. There are no user serviceable parts. For
service, send the unit to the ObusForme address listed in the warranty section.
