Introduction:
You have chosen an OCENAV gateway with Seatalk ™ bus and WIFI in
all its ve sions. ATM105A2/A3 can handle seve al autopilot types.
The e is no single configu ation connection fo thei installation, since
many combinations of equipment that can be connected, howeve , the
most common configu ations a e:
For all models:
- Seatalk: Rayma ine inst uments and autopilot.
- WIFI: Mobile Applications (NMEA0183 Input and Output)
- NMEA0183 channel 1: GPS / Plotte / Multi-function (input and
output)
For ATM105A1N gate ay:
- NMEA2000: GPS / Plotte , Windex, magnetic compass, sounde , Log,
The momete and Manomete . (st ip wi ed).
- NMEA0183 IN Channel 2: Inst ument NMEA0183 o AIS.
For ATM105A2 gate ay:
- NMEA0183 channel 2: NMEA0183 inst ument, seconda y GPS o
VHF (input and output).
- NMEA0183 IN Channel 3: AIS.
- Links STxxxx, Sma tpilot and autopilot wi eless cont olle .
- Ancho windlass outputs.
For ATM105A3 gate ay:
- NMEA2000: GPS / Plotte , Windex, magnetic compass, sounde , Log,
The momete and Manomete . (Standa d NMEA2000 connecto ).
- NMEA0183 (Channel 1.2): GPS, othe inst uments, mast epeate s,
VHF etc. (Input and output).
- NMEA0183 IN Channel 3: AIS
- Links STxxxx, Sma tpilot, Evolution, Simnet based Sim ad / B&G
autopilots with wi eless autopilot cont olle . Ancho windlass outputs.
Before installing this device:
If you a e not familia with nautical inst uments communications, it is
ecommended that the installation be pe fo med by a specialist,
othe wise any liability will be ejected.
- It is ve y impo tant that befo e installing the cables and connection
points of the inst uments to be connected, be analized the viability of
the passage of the necessa y cables th ough the ship study, and d aw
all clea ly in a scheme. This makes it possible to simplify the

installation and dete mine whe e will be mo e convenient to place the
ATM105A gateway.
- Make su e the powe is off befo e you sta t installing this p oduct.
- It is ecommended that all inst uments a e inte connected th ough
this gateway. That way the wi ing is educed and inc eases the
communications pe fo mance.
- The ATM105A2 and A3 ve sions have elay outputs to cont ol ancho
windlass. These outputs (1 Amp maximum) a e connected in the
same points of the elay box that footswitches on deck. The efo e, the
passage p ovision must be p ovided ove a 3-wi e cable f om the base
to ATM105A to said elay box.
Installation:
The equipment must be positioned bolted to a ve tical base, with
connections at the bottom, in a place f ee of condensation, at a height
of 1m above the float level and outside enclosu es o metal wi es.
- Po er Connection, Seatalk and anchor indlass:
NOTES:
- If "Powe +" is not connected to Seatalk bus, the supply voltage will
be f om 8 to 28V. You do not need fuse, since the equipment
inco po ates an automatic inside.
- (Suited) Install a 1.5 A fuse in the A cho COM wi e.
- Fo mo e detailed info mation, see the manual "TECH INFO
ATM105A.pdf".

- Connecting NMEA 0183 inputs and outputs, all channels:
Connection to a inst ument with diffe ential input/output (RS422)
Connecting to a inst ument with single pole input/output (RS232)
(Leave without connecting the ATM105A output O-)
- Connecting NMEA2000:
Connect the equipment to a powe voltage d op o b anch available by
seve al manufactu e s (Ga min, Low ance, etc), o an adapte cable
NMEA2000 / Seatalk (ng) Rayma ine, o by type connecto B ad
Mic o-Cha ge (M12) BINDER se ies o 763. Do not eve connect
di ectly to the main bus. The ATM105A3 has a ve y low consumption
f om NMEA2000 (90mA - LEN = 2). When the gateway connects to
NMEA2000, the e is no need to connect powe to the f ont 5-pin
connecto (Powe /ancho ).

WI-FI zone and apps configuration:
- Phone settings, compute . WIFI ACCESS:
SSID (Access Point Name): OCENAV__________
Passwo d access point: atm105_____
- Mobile APP settings:
Connection mode: UDP b oadcast / multicast

access du ing setup.
P ess and hold the ed button du ing the sta t-up of the device and,
using the mobile device, connect to the OCENAVxxxxx.
Open the phone / tablet b owse . At this moment, the gateway will
send a configu ation page to said b owse .
If the configu ation page does not open automatically, type
www.ocenav.com in the add ess ba and / o clea the b owse histo y.
The e a e two g oups of options:
- Configu ation of the access point: name of the WiFi, passwo d, AP o
Client, powe of emission, po ts, etc.
- Speed of the NMEA0183 channels and p ocessing options fo the
NMEA0183 and NMEA2000 f ames.
- Once the changes have been made, p ess the "SEND" key.
See the manual "WIFI configu ation.pdf" fo mo e details.
