Remote Control Guide:
Octava’s Remote control uses discrete code so can be easil integrated
with most Universal Remote Controls such as Logitech’s Harmon .
Application Diagram
Installation:
1) Connect the HDTV to the HDMI OUT
2) Connect the HDMI source to the HDMI INPUTS
3) Connect the L/R Audio sources to the LR Audio In
4) Connect the HDTV L/R Audio In to the L/R Audio Out
4) Connect the DC power adapter
Smart Scan

:
Octava’s HDMI switch with Smart Scan
TM
saves ou the hassle
of fumbling with multiple remote controls. Simpl power on the
HDMI source ou want to view and the HDMI switch will
automaticall switch to the correct port. If no HDMI sources are
on, then the switch will go into standb mode.
Energy Smart: If the HDTV is off or if all HDMI sources are off, the
switch will go into standb mode to conserve power.

Configuring Smart Scan

In the event that ou wish to disable the Smart Scan
TM
feature please
follow these steps:
1) Turn On our HDTV and at least 1 HD source. Make sure LED is ON.
2) Press the manual pushbutton on the front of the unit for ~ 5 seconds
until the LED flashes.
You can turn the Smart Scan
TM
feature back on b simpl rec cling the
power to the switch. This will enable the Smart Scan feature.
