1. GENERAL
1.1 The NAC VLX-K01 kit is a bracket that
can be wall mounted and will hold an LGX™-
118 type panel. It also has a cover over the
front to protect the cables, connections and
provides a strain relief. The provided panel is
an LGX™-118 type panel with four (4)
Keystone ports and four (4) caps.
1.2 This document was updated to correct
errors and for clarity.
1.3 The VLX-K01 kit has the following
features and capabilities:
•Carrier class metal construction
•Very compact and easy to mount
•Dual 5/8″spaced ground screws
•UL1863 Listed
•LGX™ Type 118 panel form factor.

2. APPLICATIONS
The VLX-K01 can be used in any application
where a compact wall mounting that supports
LGX™ 118 type panel is required. The VLX-
100 panel that the VLX-K01 is shipped with
has four (4) keystone ports that can be used
for any Keystone type adaptors. This makes
the VLX-K01 a versatile mounting typically
used as a multi-media service demarcation or
service handoff between the Service Providers
and the End-Users.
3. DESCRIPTION
3.1 The VLX-K01 is small painted steel
bracket that can be wall mounted and holds an
LGX™-118 type panel. It also has a painted
steel removable cover over the front to protect
the cables, connections and provides a strain
relief. Refer to Figure 2.

3.2 The supplied LGX™-118 panel is an
aluminum panel with four (4) Keystone ports
and four (4) caps. The panel is non-painted,
but iridited to ensure ground continuity when
installed into NAC mountings. Refer to Figure 3.

4. INSTALLATION
4.1 The VLX-K01 bracket is mounted using
two (2) #6 screws supplied with the kit. The
supplied LGX™-118 panel and cover can then
be installed. Refer to Figure 4.

4.2 Grounding The VLX-K01 bracket is
grounded using the grounding screws on the
side of the unit. Refer to Figure 4.

6. WARRANTY & REPAIRS
6.1 Warranty
NAC warrants this product for the period
specified by the terms governing the sale of
the product. Any attempt to repair or modify
the equipment by anyone other than an
authorized NAC representative will void the
warranty.
This limited warranty does not cover any
losses or damages resulting from shipment to
or from the customer, or from improper
installation, abuse, modifications, or
unauthorized repair by other than NAC
personnel.
